The biggest…read moreproblems are the stairs railings which had many mistakes along the way, but even after several attempts to fix them and bring in extra help, we were left with a botched job and quite a mess. The owner admitted the mistakes and said he gave us a discount, we were told he couldn't meet our expectations but we gave him an opportunity to fix the mistakes (and really we were just asking him to finish the job). He did come back for about an hour and did fix a few things, but for some reason didn't fix others. He admitted he took on too much work, and this project seemed to be beyond his abilities. Issues include: uneven floors (feels like holes) where our old floors were pulled up, stair railing not being sanded which resulted in someone getting cut and bleeding while using it, we have marks ALL over our newly drywalled and painted walls with their stained hand prints, heavy pencil marks, scuff marks, and so many bad patch jobs from their mistakes. Initially, the hand rails were installed at different angles and we were told "that's how they are suppose to be"...after much convincing they were finally fixed. The balusters are off center on the trim, they split the wood on the trim inserting the balusters, ...it's just a mess, and now we get to fix it ourselves or hire someone else to come in and fix their mistakes. The stair rails look like a DIY project gone wrong. We were also promised a "full house clean" about 5 times, and never got even a tiny clean, just more mess and marks on our walls with every visit. We had other issues, like they laid floor in the wrong room, then when they pulled it up never replaced the product we paid for. They used our ironing board to make cuts and got saw dust all over our household goods, also used and took our new 50 gallon trash can, and left behind a bunch of their equipment. On the positive side owner is a nice guy and sold his business very well, he also was kind enough to change the color of our knoll posts to something he thought we'd like better, prior to installing them. Also, the trim work on our baseboards is amazing, it was installed perfectly and looks beautiful. We were really rooting for this guy and his business, and gave him a chance to make things right, but in the end, it seems like he just quit our botched job and moved on to another.
