The sod that A Boulder Gardener had so perfectly installed a couple of years before was completely destroyed, the front yard had weeds taller than me in it, and the back yard had knee-deep weeds and the rest was dirt. I called A Boulder Gardener and they came to the rescue. Their employees descended on my house and weeded and cleared the entire property in a half day--something it would have taken me weeks to do. They are seriously machines. You won't see anybody leaning on a shovel--they work hard and transform your landscape in short order. After the cleanup they came back and installed artificial turf in my backyard, which is now a Mecca, and planted trees, plants, shrubs and bulbs all over my property. As I have aged more & more of the yard's care has gone undone to the point that none of my plants bloomed this year. This year I contacted Chris & asked her to rescue my plants. She carefully explained that my plants may take more than a year to recover, but she started them on the road to recovery. So far she has spent time trimming & shaping the plants. She has taken bags of old, dead growth out of each bush. They have been fertilized. Slowly they are beginning to grow back & look healthy again. They turned on sprinklers for the season, sprayed for weeds, and aerated the lawn. The guys did a good enough job, but given that they have sprayed for weeds several times and there's still weeds in my backyard, makes me think whatever weed killer isn't effective. Also there's a big yellow patch on the front lawn on the edge! Time to find a new gardener. They also leave grass trimmings everywhere. Luckily we get plenty of thunderstorms to wash it away.
