I am revising my review from May 29. Virtually all of the sod that was installed has died and it…read moreis NOT from dog urine as there are no other dog urine spots in the rest of the yard. It has died because they did not remove the old topsoil when the old grass was removed, they just sprinkled a thin layer of home store topsoil on top of the hard, packed clay that was there. They did replace some of the sod but that was dead within 10 days in spite of our sticking to a proper watering schedule. You can peel it up like an area rug and the soil underneath it is rock hard. They charged me $1600 and will not make it right or stand behind their work.

He explained the process completely and did everything he said he would do. The dry saw process was used. It was a messy job. He placed plastic on the adjacent wall. I asked if I could blow the dust away from the house. He was very appreciative of my help. The concrete work is excellent. The price is right. He left items to help cure in case of freezing temps the next two days. He left plywood to cover it since other contractors were coming in next to repair the siding. We will use him next year to replace our driveway. Orvin is an honorable person, too.

Day of, he shows up without his assistant and says he'll have to do it alone. No water on the saw. Didn't offer to delay things. Didn't seem to have plastic or care so I put some of my own up. It was so unbelievably dusty which we couldn't have fully understood until we'd experienced it. It took us 14 hours to clean it all up. If he had just told us it would be that bad we would have at least removed bedding and clothes. Had to replace the air filter immediately. Absolute disaster. He punked us, no doubt about it. (In the pictures attached I've swiped my finger on a surface in each picture so you can see how much concrete dust was dispersed.
