My absolutely favorite place to get tea and all tea related accessories. Everything in this store is amazing! My favorite teas are strawberry fields and golden starfruit but honestly you can't go wrong with any of them. They also have holistic teas for a plethora of ailments. I absolutely love this shop! There are so many teas, like a lot a lot!! It's overwhelming but the owner was so kind and knowledgeable. She spent considerable time with me and my friends and helped recommend a variety of teas based on what we were looking for. Tons of cool tea accessories like mugs, infusers, honey sticks, etc! She only sells tea online but I reached out about ordering one of the mugs for my friends birthday who eyed it on our trip but talked herself out of it. Ariel (the owner) did a custom order for the mug and I added on some tea (of course!). I got everything in the mail three days later. Excellent business and attentive owner. Will definitely be utilizing her online shop for all my tea needs when I can't physically make it to her cozy little shop in the mountains. read more

We came in looking to stock up on tea. The gentleman working here gave us an overview of their vast selection and navigated us to the sections that were a good fit. After we picked out some wonderful blends, we picked up some nice honeys (orange, blackberry and buckwheat) to go with. What a wonderful experience! I will admit that I had much higher hopes on this shop, based on the reviews, which seem to be quite positive. It is small, yet very organised, filled with tumbled stones, essential oils, several books, and many teas that are unique or hard to find. If you are interested in teas, like I am, you will enjoy the many varieties to choose from. I am not sure if it was just an off day when we went, though the atmosphere and attitude of the owners seemed unwelcoming compared to other similar shops in the area -- for that, we will probably not return. However, I appreciate they do offer online ordering. Another option to help support local businesses, which I highly recommend doing, whenever possible. As for customers wearing masks or facial coverings, everyone we encountered while in the shop, did have one on. It was not crowded during the afternoon, on the weekday we visited. read more

This place is heaven for tea lovers. There was a nice person inside that was guiding people about which teas to try based on their ailments. I have had multiple people try their teas for my cupboard and ask where I got it. They sell in bulk and in small doses so you can try a few before buying a big bag. I appreciate that's it's broken up by tea type and caffeine free/caffeinated. They also have a cool collection of menorahs and reusable tea bags. Of course the very nasty and malicious "inbred" locals are raving about the other shop. And giving that shop all the business when the tourists leave after the weekend. The owners are so nice. The tea and the selection of tea are AMAZING. When I came here on vacation with my boyfriend, we sniffed several of the jars they had available. We also sampled their almond white tea; for someone with a sweet tooth, this tea was absolutely incredible. It was pricey (about $7.99 for a small bag), but it was so worth it. We made it ourselves at home and it just tasted so good. This is probably one of the very, very few places I've been to that has as large of a selection of tea. This store is amazing! I'm a tea lover and the selection is huge. All sorts of traditional and modern tea varieties as well as therapeutic teas for things like relaxation, inflammation and stress-relief. I purchased the Scottish and the African Breakfast tea and am enjoying both. You can purchase by the ounce, so it's easy to try many of them without committing to a large bag. There are so many fun and interesting knick-knacks in this store, too. Huge thanks to the owner Ron, who gave us great customer service and shared his knowledge of the different teas, with us. I had the ingredients of the tea that I was there for all mixed up and the Gentleman (who could have been the owner) helped me to relax with his gentle demeanor so that we were able to narrow it down to one. Excellent service and knowledgeable service by the owners. I bought some tea for my Fibromyalgia Pain, being a bit skeptical but I took it back to the cabin in Idyllwild and felt so much better. The next day and bought some to breathe better because I had been having asthma and using my inhaler and it worked like a charm. I could breathe clearly and sleep well. The range of teas is huge and they will mix something special for you. Then I noticed they had amazing spices. Plan on spending lots of time, enjoying yourself and feeling better! Went up to Idlyllwild with our friends last Sunday 4-30-17 and stopped in at Merkaba's. Oh wow what a neat store. I bought about 5 bags of tea and asked if they ship, which they do (online store). So glad about that. The owners were great - helpful. Such a nifty store with lots of teas and herbal goodies. I want to go back to explore the store more.
