Cute little happy place
Melissa M.

Cute spot. A little tight, located in the 2nd floor. Prices are moderate. They have some cute vintage finds...not too much selection though , along with idyllwild branded items . Check out is in the center which can get a bit confusing but they are nice. Found a cute vintage book

Ephemera reminded me of the cool lady's house in Harriet the Spy! (Do you remember that movie?!) there is so much to see, so much to browse at, and the prices aren't too bad either. I was surprised to see a store like Ephemera in this small town and has the inventory that it does. The staff is so friendly and welcomed us as soon as we walked in. We browsed and facetimed family about their little trinkets, house decor, records, pins, magazines, just everything! If in Idyllwild, or close by give Ephemera a shot. There's just so much for me to write down in their items. We ended up buying a drawing book, a papa smurf keychain and an eccentric eraser that was really cool! The only thing you can really say about Ephemera was that it's a really amazing store you can browse! You're hit with nostalgia, happiness and wonder. This should be a destination for anyone!

Found this amazing Vintage store here in Idyllwild. If you want to go retro this is the place to go.I met Sam at the store and he's super cool! I can stay here all day reminiscing old days. I got myself an Idyllwild souvenir and my zodiac sign patch.

SO COOL!!! Didn't get a chance to go through everything there were so many people! Beautiful aesthetics tons to look at and I cannot wait to check out the record collection.

Cool vintage shop, lots of retro trinkets and clothes! The clothes sell for a pretty high penny. Just looking around is a great time. The service was good. I ended up purchasing a trucker hat and its my favorite thing from my trip to Idyllwild. Would love to come here again.

One word.. nostalgic. It's a cross between vintage and hippie. I saw items in there from characters of when I was growing up. They sell clothes, which I personally thought were a little on the pricey side. I had seen dresses for $60-$70 and they were second hand, not new. However, it was a cool place to look around and take you back a little.

I'm a sucker for vintage and am a travel tote collector. I was immediately drawn in by the neon sign out front and walked into a 60s fever dream. I wanted everything! Especially this black and white portrait coat ugh it was beautiful but definitely pricey. I get the prices and would buy more if I could drop money. I did end up buying a really cute tote, shirt and little miss chatterbox hair clips. It's beautifully decorated. Will definitely be back when we visit again

I was at Ephemera Vintage earlier today 3/22/25 about 4-4:30pm and there was a girl there working the cashier. I didn't get her name but she had long back hair pulled back in a pony tail wearing blue jeans. She was extremely rude to me for no reason at all. I was shopping and looking at different pieces of clothing I was planning on purchasing. I put one of the items back where I got it from, and she very rudely approached me and asked me if I was done with the item. I said yes and she grabbed the item and put it on another rack while staring me up and down. Man it looks cool kill, she wore on her face. I told her that the item was on the rack where I left it not where she moved it too and she said it didn't mattered and walked away. She was so rude and unwelcoming that I decided not to buy anything at all. I handed her the items I was going to purchase (about $80) and counting but left and went to shop and spend my money elsewhere. I do hope this girl doesn't make it a habit to do this to other shopping customers because business will be lost.

I hope the owner, "Jennifer T." reads this review so she can deal with the employee in question, since another reviewer just had a similar experience with her a few weeks ago. Today I took my son and his friend browsing in the cute shops in town and we stumbled upon this store with tons of special (if overpriced) vintage items. My son collects antiques and has turned his entire closet at home into a "museum" of sorts. He zeroed in on a Ziggy doll he wanted to add to his collection, but in the end decided to check out the other shops in town to make sure that was the souvenir he wanted to buy. As we were exiting the store, a young 20-something woman with black hair approached and said "Where did your son put that Ziggy doll?" I said "Back on the shelf." She responded (in an incredibly rude manner), "Well--there were two." This was in front of a bunch of other customers, mind you. I walked her across the store to show her where he'd put it back. Once again she loudly proclaimed, "There were two." I said, "Are you accusing him of stealing?" She said, "I'm just saying there were two of them." I told her to go ahead and check his pockets. She declined and we left. Does this young woman understand that accusing an 11-year-old child of stealing could scar him for LIFE? That is a BIG accusation--one you don't just throw out there. My husband and I both work in public-facing industries and have raised a great kid with great values. As we drove away he said, "Mom, did she really think I stole from that store?" As a store owner, Jennifer, you ought to vet your employees (and read all of your reviews), because this was completely unacceptable and put a huge damper on the weekend.

What an awesome store tucked away in a lovely little town. After exploring the great outdoors, we walked into a blast of fantasmic colors, retro euphoria, squeaky clean graphics, psychedelic goodies, eclectic tunes, kitschy finds, brilliant humor and the most lovely, charming staff. What a retro sight for simple eyes! So happy to have experienced the magic of Ephemera, don't forget to check out their Blind Date book selection!

The most fun I've ever had in a shop. I felt like I was reliving the 80's; The music and vibe is so we'll curated. I wish I had more time to comb through all the classic books -and records. Old toys from my childhood were here. Colorful trinkets and pins, CBD items and comfy tees. The clothes are great quality and feel super comfy. Sam is super sweet and so glad this store is here!

Great store with an incredible amount of rare & vintage items! I loved all the old school Halloween decorations and masks they had. There's also a huge variety of stickers, pins, earrings, tshirts, toys, vinyls, etc. You'll be able to find anything your heart desires! As for me, I left with a bitchin' Pillsbury Doughboy ring.

An amazing store with so many collectibles, antiques and rare unique vintage finds. I could've spent an entire day here. A store to visit if I'm Idyllwild.
