As we were walking around looking at the different variety of vinyls we had noticed that the lady had disappeared. The selection of used music was fantastic in CD's, vinyl and even cassette tapes. The bins are nicely organized and labeled, and the store even had a great inventory program where they could easily check to see exactly whether a title was in the store, and in what format. We found that very helpful. The gentleman, who I assume was the owner, could not have been more welcoming and helpful. We will definitely stop in any time we're in town.

I work and live very nearby so I find myself at Village multiple times a week. Now for the real meat and potato's: their music selection. They have EVERYTHING! Typically (at least for me) I can get the vibe and idea of a record store's catalogue after my first visit...Village Records has consistently kept me on my toes as every visit (even in the same week) wields new (and old) releases that either I didn't think were still being sold or thought they were going to be exclusive elsewhere. They have a very nice and easy to navigate layout of genres that range from Oldies, Pop/Pop Rock, Soft/Hard Rock, Soundtracks, New & Old School Hip Hop & Rap, Indie, the Local Scene, Soul, R&B, Country, Metal, Hardcore, and absolutely everything in between. Also both staff members (I happen to come in a lot when Colin is working so I know him the best; super cool dude) and the owner are super welcoming and provide great insight whenever I have a question or just want to talk music. 11/10 spot and record store, so happy I stumbled across it, awesome value for all their goodies, and very happy to say it's my favorite record store that I've been to!

The selection is seriously unmatched, with so many unique pieces, including designer finds and vintage Levis at prices that felt like an absolute steal. The shopkeeper was incredible. She went above and beyond, helping style looks, bringing pieces over, and giving me the full VIP treatment. On top of that, everything in the store was clean, fresh, and beautifully curated. The real reason this place stands out is what happened after I left. I realized I had lost my very expensive Meta sunglasses and was so upset because we searched everywhere and could not find them. Later that week, the shop owner reached out to me on Instagram to let me know she had found them and even offered to mail them back to me. That level of care is rare. Truly one of the best vintage shops I have ever been to. I will be coming back every time I am in Palm Springs.

I lived it back in the day and got goose bumps while shopping and listening to old Cure songs that had long left my mental building. The aesthetic leans into pink in an un-precious way and the layout is full of punkalicious inspiration. You know who you are or wish to remember your punk roots when you enter this supercool unpretentious boutique with merch displayed in the most zesty and whimsical way. This store reminds me that I need to shop less online because when you do you miss out on things you'd never think to look for. This shop has all the things punk you want but didn't know it. I wasn't prepared to try on clothes, but Decca was gracious enough - and the store was quiet the Thursday we stopped by - to allow me access to one of the display rooms with a curtain closure.
