We wanted to try this new offering by Emeril Lagasse at the Me Resort. It's a light airy room and spacious. The menu is set up for things to share. We had several things to share including Deviled eggs, BBQ Shrimp, the Big Ceasar, blue crab linguini, flat bread, and crispy shrimp tacos. The prices are between strip prices and neighborhood. The portions are a bit underwhelming for the prices charged. What's the deal with serving 3 halves for the deviled eggs!. Where is the other half? Exception would be the Big Ceasar. The two standouts to us were the blue crab linguini and the BBQ Shrimp which is one of Emeril's classic recipes. Most of the food delivered the flavor and was spiced nicely through out. The service is earnest and friendly. Smiles all around from the service staff. Our server was folksy and knowledgeable. If they either adjust the prices or the portions I would enjoy coming back to try other items. read more

Meril - Very good smoked-salmon, egg-Benedict and berry-bowl - American Near Me - Henderson, Nevada

I am a huge Emeril fan so was super excited to try this place at the M. Unfortunately this fell way short. I think we went opening week and they got some things to work out. 1. Some of the dishes came out lukewarm 2. The beloved BBQ shrimp that I remember from his Fish House at the MGM was not even close. The sauce was separating or there was too much oil/fat that made it look like the sauce was separating and the shrimp was over cooked 3. Timing was way off - it almost felt like they held onto all the appetizers we ordered until everything was ready to drop at the table. This may have been one of the reasons the food wasn't hot. 4. Gumbo just wasn't what I remembered it to be from the fish house. Lacked his normal flavor On the bright side, service was excellent. We mentioned that the shrimp was over cooked so they comped our desserts, which we got the banana cream pie and beignets. Both were very good. Not sure if we'll be back but I'm still a huge fan and hope they work things out. read more

Very Disappointing Service We waited about 15 minutes to be seated on a Saturday, which was completely understandable and not an issue. Once seated, a very polite young gentleman approached our table and explained that he wasn't our assigned server but would be assisting them. He asked if we wanted something to drink and assured us that our server would be with us shortly. Unfortunately, we then waited another 20 minutes without anyone returning to our table. We never saw our assigned server, and the gentleman who initially spoke with us never came back either. At that point, we had been waiting long enough without even receiving drinks or being acknowledged again, so we decided to leave. Before leaving, I spoke with the hostess, who was a different person from the one who seated us, and explained what had happened. I asked her to please make sure the manager was made aware of the situation so hopefully this can be addressed and other guests don't have the same experience. The service was extremely disappointing. As someone who is a regular player at the M, I was especially surprised by this experience. Unfortunately, it has made me hesitant to return to this restaurant. read more

Not impressed at all. I think Emeril would not be happy either. The pineapple upsidedown cornbread was ok. The bacon pieces on top would have been better if they were thin and crispy instead of thick, hard and chewy. The pasta was swimming in oil. The french fries tasted of heavy oil. The burger I enjoyed and was actually the only thing that was pretty good. I was told they don't cook the burgers to requested temps. Service was super slow and a few of the servers were rude. Our primary server was nice but she was slow too. Atmosphere wise I felt like I was eating in my college dining hall...too open and definitly not a romantic date night place so if you're looking for a place to take your significant other, move on. Overall I was very disappointed. read more

The esthetic of this restaurant completely misses the mark for Emeril Lagasse and Vegas. It's bright, loud, and plain. It literally makes you feel like you're in a glorified Denny's! At first they wanted to seat us in the "private dining room". However, there was a large party already dining in there and they wanted to put us in a corner to the right of them and it was super loud and very sterile bright white. We asked to sit in the main dining room. Seemed odd that they called it private but wanted to put us with a big group??? The main dining room is very open and structured like a diner style seating there is no ambiance and it's very loud. Service was great. The servers were very friendly, polite and accommodating. The food came out in just the right amount of time. Drinks were great. Food was tasty and prices were reasonable. I wouldn't rush back but I wouldn't seek it out either. It was an overall average experience. I think they could do better with the style of this restaurant read more

Meril deserves every one of its five stars for both the food and the service! Everything we ordered was delicious, beautifully presented, and reasonably priced. We enjoyed the deviled eggs, pineapple upside-down cornbread with bourbon pork belly topping, chicken sandwich, blackened chicken fettuccine, pepperoni flatbread, double cheeseburger, and rocky road bread pudding. Each dish offered something unique and satisfying. The ambience was beautiful, warm, and inviting, making the entire dining experience even more enjoyable. To top it all off, we received cotton candy dessert with sparkling candles, which was so much fun and made the meal feel extra special. I highly recommend Meril! read more

Big let down. Went there for my wife's birthday cuz we watch Emeril on TV allot but this was not good. I got the fried chicken and it was just a chicken breast, breaded, very small and very flat. Popeye gives u more chicken for the price they want here and is Louisiana style. Lol. My wife got the fettuccine with shrimp and the sub regular butter cuz she doesn't loke truffle butter. She said it was weird tasting butter and the portion was a child's protion. Same for my daughter's meal. She got the Blue Crab linguine tho n she said it tastes ok. Our friend got the Seasonal Seafood boil and it look allot until you remove all the shells and two pieces of corn on the cob, which one cob was cold even to the touch like it came from the refrigerator and they microwaved it really quick. Drinks were ok and the Banana pudding pie was good as well. They gave my wife. Cotton candy for surprise desert which I was hoping they would have asked me or her first, because she doesn't like cotron candy and that to us is a joke of a desert. Kids desert mb but not for an adult. If it was for my dau saying her meal was ok, the banana pudding cake being decent and the waiter being cool, i would have given this a whopping 1 star since there are no 0 in Yelp. We wont go back cuz you get more better tasting food for the buck at numerous other restaurants. Emeril should be ashamed of this place. I may stop watching his shows if uis food actually taste this bad. As of now, I'll stick to Bobby Flay's restaurants on the Strip for a famous cooks restaurant. Even Mark Walhberg who aint a cook has a better restaurant. read more

Came with myself and someone else, spent well over 100 dollars and left hungry. They get one extra star for the drinks as they were decent and the service was adequate. The hostess was nice and we walked right in. As for the food, the prices are outrageous for what they give you. The portions are small and the food is bad. The deviled eggs are on a bed of lays potato chips, crab pasta is laughably small, and the jambalaya is in a small bowl barely enough to have someone else to take a bite. We tried to redeem it by ordering desert, because how can you screw that up, but the banana pie was bad too. The restaurant looks nice but that's about it. read more

This has easily become one of the worst restaurants on my list. We recently came here for breakfast and ordered the BBQ shrimp. The shrimp were completely undercooked--still raw and bloody near the heads. We decided to give the restaurant another chance and came back for dinner a few days ago, but unfortunately, it was just go as disappointing. We ordered the highly recommended Blackened Chicken Fettuccine, and it was unbelievably salty. The portion was also shockingly small--smaller than most appetizers I've had--yet it cost $24. We also ordered a burger, which was extremely salty as well. The burger alone was $18, and when they asked if we wanted fries, we didn't realize they would be an additional $10. Bad food, tiny portions, and high prices. After giving this place more than one chance, we definitely won't be coming back. read more

The service was not good and my breakfast seemed like it had frozen potatoes and not worth the $17 plus my eggs were dry and cold. Just seems like they were unaware. We had a large group of 10 people and the positive thing is the server did do separate checks and thank you for that. read more

If you've been to Raiders Tavern, this will feel very familiar. The menu is a different concept. Some standards like burgers and pizza, some unique items, but it all tastes like it came out of the same walk-in. The ambiance is nothing inspired despite the view of the pool. Avoid the tables near the front. You'll have people walking past you the whole time. The waiting area has no seating, so everyone just stands around, though they do seem to seat people rather quickly. Our server was friendly and the food did come out quickly and was cleared away pretty much as soon as we finished. The burger is $18 and fries are another $10. Vig Deli has burger and fries for about $20, and Anthony's has a 10 oz wagyu with fries for $32. You're at near steakhouse prices for what amounts to deli food. If it was 20% cheaper, I would give it more stars. But at this price point, it's not somewhere I will go often. read more

I went here for breakfast and unfortunately the service experience was very disappointing. After being seated, we waited about 10 minutes before a server came over to ask if we wanted water or drinks and that 10 minutes felt like eternity. When he returned, we told him we were ready to order our food and drinks. Another 5 minutes passed, and he brought out a water bottle but no glasses. He didn't even notice that the table wasn't properly set. I asked for my smoothie to come out as soon as possible, but it still didn't arrive until we were already eating. Our food finally came out about 20 minutes later, even though the restaurant was not busy (it was around 10:30 AM). We still had to ask for basic items like salt and pepper because the table had not been prepared. The host didn't catch this either. Throughout the entire meal, the server was not attentive. The staff also seemed disorganized, with employees constantly running back and forth between tables without much coordination. That said, the eggs Benedict was excellent. The food itself was the highlight of the visit, but the poor service affected the overall experience. I understand why many other reviews mention the horrid service issues. I've had better service at Denny's for half the price of this breakfast. It feels like the restaurant may have a rookie staff, and I hope management is paying attention to the feedback and taking steps to improve. read more

We got there at 5:30pm and currently they don't have a HH (Happy Hour). The staff was friendly but with all new restaurants they are working out their kinks. Service was a bit slow. My husband got his coke way before I got my water. I felt the deviled eggs, pepperoni flatbread, cod sliders and Gulf Yellowfin Tuna Bundles were promising but needed a little tweaking. read more

What a joke.... All I can say is Emeril should be embarrassed to have his name on the door of this place. Or does he just view Henderson as a cash grab with people who don't care about food? Either way, this establishment needs a complete overhaul. It's embarrassing that what was supposed to be a high end, chef driven restaurant not only feels like a cafeteria, but is churning out cafeteria level food. The plating here looks like it was done by my 10-year-old nephew. Compare this place to the Meril in New Orleans, and especially Emeril's Restaurant in New Orleans, and it doesn't even come 5% of the way there. This is an IHOP. read more

Nope. This restaurant is not ready for the public. The food is disappointing and not to the standard you would expect from Chef Emeril Lagasse. Tonight we tried the following, House Boudin Balls. Fail Gulf Yellowfin Tuna Bundles. Fail Margherita basil flatbread. Fail Shrimp & Andouille Gumbo. Great flavor. Zero ingredients. Fail The Big Caesar. Fail Grilled Ribeye. Fail. Tiramisu. Fail. Very disappointed, probably won't be back. read more

Worst breakfast we have had prob ever. I told waitress I don't like soggy when asking about the avocado toast and she said she would ask for the toast to be extra crisp. The avocado toast was hardly toasted and completely soggy. The service was slow and inefficient and the breakfast potatoes weren't fully cooked and came out cold. Asked for another coffee and no one came to give a top up. The waitress let us sit for extended time and looked directly at me and walked away. I thought it was not her table but when I asked someone if they could get our waitress it was was the same girl. We used to come to breakfast at the M often and always enjoyed the food and the service and now we will never return. One caveat there is a waitress there that is extremely good but unfortunately we didn't get her. read more

Was genuinely impressed! It's super cute inside and the food was really good! Some standouts were... The codfish sliders were insane! Think like McDonald's fillet fish but healthy. Loved the candied short ribs, shrimp tacos were delicious, the tuna is a must, (we ordered a lot) fries were solid 8/10 (definitely a bit of a fry snob), deviled eggs were great, the Boudin balls were OK not bad but just OK. We also did the banana cream pie for dessert, which was really good as well. Also got the Hugo and Leche drinks, which were both really good! Definitely recommend and for sure will be coming back! It's a great little local spot inside the M! read more

Spencer was our server, he was very attentive and knowledgeable and helped make it a great experience for my wofes birthday!

I'm a big fan of Emeril and am always at The M so I was excited for months for this restaurant to open. I went last night for the first time and it was disappointing. The restaurant ambiance itself is really nice especially the views from the windows and there being patio seating as well. Service was also great, our server was awesome. The food though I read the bad reviews and hoped it was just exaggeration but no, no it is not. We ordered a cheeseburger which was $18 and did not come with fries. That was an additional $10! It was a large portion of shoestring fries with a good dipping sauce at least but that makes a burger and fries cost $28. I got a bowl of gumbo which was pretty small for $16. It was good taste wise, I really enjoyed the spice level and flavors of the dish. My issue is that there was only ONE small piece of shrimp. The andouille sausage was cut up into small pieces and there wasn't much of that either. My old fashioned was good even though it comes with crappy ice. I'd go back to only sit at the bar and try their other cocktails because they all sound good but I'll probably pass on the food unless it improves. This place has so much potential so I hope things get better. read more

Meril at The M Resort -- 2.5/5 We visited Meril last Saturday night. We were seated right at our reservation time, so it started off well. We ordered a glass of wine and a beer -- the beer came out with an excessive amount of foam and tasted flat, so I had to send it back. For food, we ordered the Caesar salad, margherita flatbread, and fettuccine with truffle oil. The salad came out first and was very good. I asked for fresh ground pepper and was just handed a pepper shaker -- a small thing, but disappointing. The flatbread was okay, though it could have used a bit more time in the oven. The fettuccine with truffle oil was the biggest letdown -- very bland, and I was surprised to find the pasta was clearly dried, boxed pasta rather than fresh. Total bill came to $100. Overall, a disappointing experience for the price. 2.5/5. read more

What a disappointment. I have been once a weeker at Raider's Grill at the M Hotel. Since Meril has opened Raider's Grill is no longer open for lunch. There new opening time is now 3pm. This was the second time I given Meril a shot. Our first encounter for breakfast was very mediocre--poor quality food, very bad service. That was just 4 days after opening. I always give a new restaurant at least two chances. We went back for lunch (actually we hope for Raider, but they were no longer open for lunch) and while we were already there we walked over to Meril. Sadly, the service had not improved--it was just plain awful. It took 15 minutes to have a server come to the table to take the order. When the food finally arrived another 15 minutes the soup came without a spoon. The server never did a check back and I had to get up and grab another server to get me a spoon. Five minutes later a spoon arrived, the soup was already cold. The food was substandard and expensive for the small portion. The M is seldom that busy. You would think the food and beverage director would be taking a closer look at what's going on in his restaurants. Okay, M you got me twice--I'm done with you. By the way the steak house at the M is not a great restaurant either. read more

This place is new so hopefully it will get better. Upon entry a lady leaving said "oh this place is not good". We still went since we had a reservation. I had veggie flatbread pizza and meatballs. Both were very good and I was glad I asked for pizza to be crispy. My friend ordered cod sliders. Something was wrong with the fish. It was hard like a big meat bone. The waitress had it taken off the bill and said the same thing had happened the day before. So why would they keep serving something that was inedible. I probably would not go back, Raiders restaurant is always good. read more

No complaints here! I've seen a lot of reviews mentioning the portion sizes and prices, but honestly, I feel like the price point is pretty reasonable for anywhere these days, and we had no issues at all with the portion sizes. My husband and I shared the French fries, which were to die for, the crispy Brussels sprouts, which unfortunately weren't really crispy, but the flavor was delicious. I would've preferred them to be crispier. We also shared the ribeye, and we actually ended up taking a piece of it home because we were so full! My husband also had the tuna bundles, which he really enjoyed, and we finished with the banana cream pie for dessert. Service at the bar was excellent, and the atmosphere was beautiful. We can't wait to come back and try more things Oh and definitely try the Hi Thymes in NOLA cocktail and the old fashioned! read more
