Guajillo steak tacos & garlic and herb steak medallions

I don't tend to do a lot of reviews but it's criminal to me that this place doesn't have 5 stars. The food, drinks, and service were impeccable. There surprisingly aren't a lot of nicer places to go around Bee Cave/Lakeway for date night but we found this place and it's perfect! I don't know why this place isn't more packed but for now it will be a hidden gem for date night.

Really good. Stayed at the Sonesta in Bee Cave, TX. This restaurant is on the 6th floor. Nice decor and ambiance. I was on a biz trip and eating alone so I grabbed a seat at the bar, and was promptly greeted. Server was very friendly. Menu looked good. I had some tacos that were pretty good. Prices not bad. Recommended while in Bee Cave.

Hill Country View with Mansfield Dam in distance.

The Bee's Knees Meridian 98 is a posh lounge on the top floor of the Sonesta hotel which anyone can go up after 4 PM. Apparently they have music Wednesday and Thursday. The ambiance resembles a darkly lit London pub with leather seating and a wraparound outdoor deck with seating. We went up there twice during stay but only enjoyed drinks which were smashing. The menu has a few items and geared to Austin farm to table culture. The service was top notch and made us feel welcomed. Being in Bee Cave many mixed drinks are made with honey. There is no dress code but I suggest business casual to match all the wood and leather. I had no idea being 6 floors up at Bee Cave to what views you would have but can see miles around including Mansfield Dam. I was amazed.

This place has a great view - sunsets here are pretty if you get the right spot (where the balcony wraps around the bar). Service - slow but friendly Food - subpar. The fries here were great- crispy and full of flavor. It could have been elevated if they had any other dip other than ketchup (truffle aoli, chipotle mayo...anything). The pizza was lacking in flavor except for screaming fig butter in each bite. Overall just ok food. Drinks - they were generic, bar drinks. I would have expected them to be better. Neither Manhattan or lemon drop stood out, and I switched over to their dry wine rose which was a good choice. Parking - free and in the garage Ambiance - its lovely. Great views, and I liked the interior decor as well. This place has the basics down. If they added hanging plants, lights, better dips and drinks I think they would be a lot busier.

Fantastic place !!! Jordan and Jesse are the BOMB! Great service and atmosphere and the drinks and laughs never went dry.

Place has an amazing view by the deck and the indoor rooms are like in a living room. Serving size of food are shareable and not expensive. Not much selection of food but you get a lot of choices in cocktails and spirits. The service staff are attentive and friendly.

The fall menu was incredible!! The shrimp with local honey and the flat bread pizza!! The best part of this place is that everything is sourced in Texas so you are kind of supporting local which I like. The view is nice from the top so I'd say it's a super cute date spot. Dressy place or golf shirt kind of place if you know what I mean.

Chic fireplace!

This rooftop bar serves up quality cocktails and offers a beautiful balcony over looking the hill country. The bartenders and servers were awesome and made sure we had everything we needed. Inside there's big comfy leather seats, fire places, and huge windows. Outside is the balcony with plenty seating and humongous fire lanterns to keep warm. Inside or out, this is a great place to cozy up with folks and enjoy libations.

Are there fires or warmers allowing you to sit outside when it's colder?

Yes; however, I haven't seen them in use on the weekdays.

Three of us had arrived earlier and ordered already and our server came by to greet us two and take our drink order right away if we were ready. We were not so she gave us some time and came back. Throughout the night, she checked on us. At the end of the night, she offered to split all our checks and remembered everyone's orders and how to to accurately split the drinks. Each lady paid for an appetizer. The appetizers were all very good though I would say there are limited gluten free options. The girls shared the Tempura Cauliflower. It looked really good and apparently was also delicious but unfortunately not gluten free. The Charcuterie Board with cheese, salami, pepperoni, and smoked salmon was yummy, as were the brussel sprouts and chicken kabobs. The server said the marinade was not gluten free but I decided to eat it anyways. The chicken was juicy and seasoned well. I really liked the brussel sprouts too. The Dirty Martinis and Paper Plane were great. My friend had the Cucumber cocktail but opted for soda water instead of Sprite and she said it was really good. It looked pretty. The restaurant offers a nice vibe for hanging out and has a great selection of cocktails, wines, and food. I didn't get a chance to try an entree but I'm sure they are good. We had the best server so I'd say this place is a winner.

I will most definitely come back again to try something else. If you have a birthday come here. You will see why. Its a great experience.

It's tucked away in a spot you might never know existed, but once you walk inside, the atmosphere is fantastic, tons of TVs, people laughing and having a great time, and just an all-around fun, laid-back vibe. We tried the loaded fries, Chop Chop sandwich, Cubano, and several drinks, and everything was delicious. The service was also amazing, she was friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home. We were already talking before we left about coming back for football watch parties and girls' nights. The smash brewers are too die for they're really good I ordered a double meat cheeseburger with French fries. The smash burger was juicy and on top of being one of the best burgers I've had in a while. This place is pretty much a hit or miss. So I'm giving them 5 stars because of the fact that the food was amazing the French fries were cooked hot and seasoned very lightly which I like and not overly salted. They have a pretty good portion of pickles and lettuce some tomatoes I didn't want onions. The only negative I could see is the fact that there is no" desserts" on the menu. Is the only thing negative I could say that this place is a sports bar they have screens all over this restaurant. You have to be a sports fan to actually enjoy the ambiance here. The patio area is really nice I would get it 5 stars definitely. Another 5 stars is that they're very dog friendly!! So I had a wonderful experience here and I do know that there's people that haven't but as far as my experience is concerned. I really enjoyLlittle Woodrows.. Unforgettable! About 6 weeks ago, I sent an email to the Speakeasy Cigar Lounge in Lakeway to see…read moreif someone there might help me pull off a cool surprise for my man's birthday. I got the idea that Jason should have his own signature cocktail. I had the perfect name for it and a list of drinks he likes, but I'm no mixologist, so I needed help to pull this off. Sonya McKinney, the manager replied to my request saying she was all in. And boy was she! From her creative expertise, the "Liberty Risk" cocktail was born. Jason is a retired Navy fighter pilot with an ornery streak a mile wide. Whenever the aircraft carrier came into port, the crew was at liberty to enjoy time in town, unless of course, they'd done a mischief and found themselves on liberty risk, and thus restricted to the ship. Jason wasn't completely unfamiliar with liberty risk. "Liberty Risk" became the name of his boat, his most prized possession, making it also the perfect name for his signature cocktail. Sonya didn't just create an awesome cocktail, she hung a professionally made banner above the bar introducing the drink, wrote and laminated the backstory of the drink, and bought a special Navy veteran glass in which to present the drink, complete with real Navy wings that she attached to a golden cocktail skewer to garnish the drink! She also arranged for the musician who was playing that night to lead the whole bar in singing Happy Birthday to him. Thanks to Sonya, the whole experience was unparalleled and it's a special memory Jason and I will always cherish.
