I even brought a book with me expecting to be waiting around a while but I didn't need it. After my initial vitals were taken Mike the PA came in a few minutes later. He was friendly and listened to my concerns. I thought everyone here was lovely including the xray tech on. I didn't catch her name but she was super sweet and friendly. I was in and out in under an hour and this was with a chest xray and breathing treatment. Mike sent my prescriptions in immediately and they were ready basically in 10 min at my pharmacy. I would highly recommend coming here and make an appointment if you can.

I have been dealing with a skin issue for over three months now. I've seen my general practitioners…read moreoffice multiple times. They kept prescribing steroids and brushing me off. Now I have an underlying infection and the skin is awful. I literally walked out of an appointment with my general practitioner's office and drove to WellNow in Orchard Park. As soon as I walked in, Sue at the desk was professional, kind, and listened. She got me set and showed me to a room. I wish I'd gotten the name of the medical staff member who came in next to get the basics and ask questions. She was also kind and listened and noted everything. I then saw Kyle Violanti, a PA. Kyle asked if I'd be okay with him consulting a dermatologist friend. I said please do. This is how medicine should be. It's okay to not know everything - you should be willing to consult and help the patient. I left with a diagnosis, prescriptions, and his dermatologist friend's office info to do a follow up. The staff at this WellNow listened and cared more today than my GP's office has in the months I've been dealing with them. I've also learned the steroids they prescribed made it worse. I could hug the whole WellNow staff.

It took minutes for someone to answer my call to make my appointment back in February, I received detailed instructions well in advance about how to prepare and what to expect prior to and on arrival. There was plenty of available parking and accessible entrance. I barely had time to sit down before being called back for registration. I was greeted by a very pleasant patient care worker who provided detailed instructions for my ride, took my insurance info and got me squared away. I don't think I was in the lobby more than 10 minutes before being escorted by a very cheerful and friendly nurse who took my vitals, gave me ample time to change into my gown. She was very skilled at getting my IV started and calmed my little fears. I then was escorted to the exam room where I again was greeted by warm nurses who were very attentive and explained again what was going to happen, estimated time it would take and how the rest of the day would go. It felt good to have staff ask if it was okay to touch me. I really appreciated that! My doctor arrived quite promptly and went over my history and again explained what to expect. I was not at the facility no more than 3 hours...probably less than that but I was a little out of it but I remember the high quality of care that I received. I did receive my test results very late or very early this morning and the procedure went very well. Outstanding care! No pictures for obvious reasons.

I never felt nervous or uncomfortable with things happening. With this being my first experience with surgery, I had the usual nervous feeling but I was quickly feeling more comfortable with the bedside manner of all of the staff there. I am a week post op and everything is healing nicely and I feel very confident about the process thanks to the doctors and staff here.

My appointment was for 8:30am, the driver was 30 minutes late because she did not follow the orders dispatch gave her It was just a good thing it was for lab work, and they were able to be flexible with my appointment. When getting out of the car the driver said to me, "I might always be late but I'll always pick you up". I don't know if this is their normal way of doing business, but they need to work on being more reliable. The workers were polite and caring I'd like to trust them and maybe try them again, just no sure.

I had my knee drained and the care was excellent. The nurse, radiologist tech, and doctor took great care to drain my knee. Very pleased. The office was nice but again looks dilapidated. Parking at this VA is minimal when it's busy. The parking spots are narrow so plan accordingly and get there a bit early to park and then walk into the VA.

My appointment went fast, well and informative. Before i walk away from the clinic/doctor, I'll always ask for a printout of my future appts, of which they always oblige with a smile. The service I receive here is absolutely top-notch and excellent! Sure there are issues sometimes and nothing can be pure perfection ever, but as often many who work here are NOT veterans or in the worst case scenario, not even related to the military as I have seen some very bad concern and seen some absolutely stupid actions and "care" at some clinics, which I have reported. Unfortunately the hospital decided to keep the stupid clinic worker who insulted, then laughed at a very old veteran and his wife, IN a crowded clinic.If I were the director of the hospital, that jackass would have been fired on the spot, but that was not done, so it could well happen again. I am very appreciative for my care as I'm rated at 80%. I just hate dealing with young stupid idiots who insult and laugh at veterans.
