Buffalo Transportation is the worst!!! Everytime I have ride with Buffalo Transportation, I often waiting for hours after they have been called. If i could leave a ZERO I would. Driver was supposed to take my mother in law to rehab center from the hospital but instead driver dropped her off at the independent living center. She has dementia and had no idea what to do! Then they were going to charge us or her insurance to go pick her up and get her where she needed to go. I rode with last year from Buffalo General now I'm 6'1" 300lbs. Having hip surgery I usually ride in the front of the Mini Van. And the nurses station called them and informed them I need and have to sit in the front. Due to the fact getting in the back with a new and very flexible yet was going to be rough & painful. Well the driver said NO ONE in the front, well we went round & round and the 2 nurses stood their ground. But never the less the driver (A Complete A-Hole) got his way. We almost went at it when I wheeled myself over to him and tried to stand up. And I ended up crawling into the back and up on the seat trapped in one position. Nevertheless I will never ride with them again, and I suggest no one does either. The crew they have is terrible, no matters, no consideration towards their passengers, and they no problems keeping the client waiting and waiting. Unfortunately it's not about the clients but mainly for the green backs with that company. Karma will have a field day with these clumps. read more

If I could give them O stars I would. On February 9th of this year this company was used to transport my daughter. The vehicle that my daughter and I were transported in was horrible. Something kept happening where we would lose power and the driver had to pull over several times and restart the van. The fumes were horrible and I knew something wasn't right. Eventually the van lost complete power and we sat on the side of the road. The van caught on fire while we were in it. The wheel chair lift had no power we had to pull her out the side door of the van. We barely made it out in time. I am just now leaving a review because I'm still so traumatized by this experience and what could've happened. My daughter cannot communicate for herself due to suffering from five strokes, and having leukemia. I thank God every day that I rode in that van with her, because this would have ended far worse as I insisted, they get her out of the van. This company has not reached out to anyone to check on my daughter to see how she is doing after this traumatic event! They did not even contact the hospital that they were transporting her from that in itself shows exactly what kind of company this is! Driver was far from safe, was downright verbally abusive, repeatedly screaming F-bombs & obscenities over blaring gangster rap and it only got worse from there. I will elaborate later. My grandfather had an appointment Friday morning at Roswell Park. He was supposed to be picked up by Buffalo Transportation, as I was at work and needed someone drive him there. They showed up over two hours late, resulting in him missing his appointment. I would like to wring their neck because of the critical nature of this appointment. On July 15th I was at Sisters Hospital they scheduled me a ride at 9:45 p.m. my ride was supposed to pick me up at 11:30 p.m. they never freaking showed we called them back and they said they can't pick me up till 7:30 in the morning on August 16th this is ridiculous that you have to wait an hour and a half for a ride that never shows and they gave us all attitudes unprofessional if you ask me especially when somebody that's wheelchair bound Buffalo transportation I do not recommend it for anybody you need to get it together or don't do it at all cuz nobody should be made to wait an hour and a half and never show it's ridiculous hope you guys can find a situation or solution to this problem because it really sucks when you're sick and want to get home to your bed or whatever I do not recommend this cab company to anybody I don't even want to give this a star ratings but have to know in the post my complaint read more

One of these drivers blocked the ER loop at ECMC from ambulances and then became threatening and belligerent towards the EMTs and myself (I was an uninvolved bystander). You would think a company that primarily does medical transport would know better than to block access by ambulances to the busiest trauma hospital in the area. read more

5 stars for DRIVERS! ZERO stars for people in office who fail to understand we are at their mercy. On Thursday, July 8th my mom, 89 year old woman in a wheelchair, required transportation to a medical building at 310 Sterling. Drive had paperwork indicating 301- an entirely different building. It so happens the next day she did need to go to the 301 building. Thought it was a simple mixup- driver was going to let them know and I showed he the info the Thurs apot being 310. He drove her to 310. When I called for a pickup, a woman who must take lessons in rudeness informed me her paperwork said 301, not 310. She would not send someone to 310, with attitude to boot. "If you want your mom.picked up at 310 you have to call Medicaid and get them to change the address". I'm.in a doctors office waiting area, my mother in a wheelchair, and I'm supposed to call Medicaid? I've no idea how to do that, where to call- local or Albany- etc. I explained the very nature of the trip was WHEELCHAIR transportation. She then tells me: then you got to take her to 310. I say- you want me to push my elderly mom IN a wheelchair, through a parking lot, across a TWO LANE ROAD, to a other building she doesn't have an appt at , so they won't let her in the building, to stand in the possible rain in their parking lot while we wait "up to an hour" (standard answer whe ever you call for pickup)? She said it was t her problem and HUNG UP ON ME. I frantically called the nursing home- they must have gotten the same woman because the first time they got hung up.on and the second person did get results but not without a lot of attitude. We finally got a van. The facility managed to get a different van provider for the next day. This person in the office should lose her job. Her lack of compassion was atrocious. The drivers are always nice and helpful. This was obviously a transposition of numbers, I was not asking to be driven to another town, to another place, but to be picked up whete she was left originally. I would not recommend this business, and I will be filing a formal complaint with the company, Medicaid as well as my representatives, and I know the facility is filing a complaint as well. read more

Drivers ranting bigoted politics, refusing to close windows when it's cold, smoking without asking me if it's okay, which it's not, and the biggies of frequently showing up too late or not at all without even calling. This would be a three star rating if not for the drivers. I've used this service over a dozen times and only had one driver I wouldn't consider 'professional'. Aside from that one, they've all been great. My two latest were Christine T, and Kandra. They are the perfect example of personable and accommodating I've found with most BT drivers. The only real problem I've ever had with BT is punctuality, but that's as much a dispatch issue as anything else. I would definitely recommend BT, but schedule pick ups a little early. read more

I have had to cancel 3 appointments in the past 2 months due to the fact that the drivers do not show up on time (2 -2 1/2 hrs late). They have picked me up at the wrong address multiple times (i have told them multiple times that it is before the corner and they continue to turn the corner which adds and extra ten minutes) and due to the ice and snow at the said wrong address have gotten stuck and therefore not able to pick me up and get me to my appointment on time. Maybe they had to make a pit stop at the Erie County Fair beforehand for a deep fried twinkie and that delayed the transport. My mom was supposed to be transferred from Millard Fillmore Suburban to Brothers of Mercy at 5:00pm yesterday, and the nitwits didn't show up until 9:45pm. They refused to pick me up for my eye surgery ! I just could not believe it! Imagine GOING BLIND because of THEM ! Due to the seriousness of my situation, my eye doctor was very kind and courteous and called me a different cab from another company. Thank God for them! Worst transporatation in all of niagara county. They leave elderly nursing home residents at doctor appts for hours on end waiting for rides. When you call for pick up because you are always lied too, they tell you 15 mins then you call back because they havent arrived yet they tell you another 20 mins,then they roll in sometimes an hour or 2 late and they do not call to let you know that they are running late either. They have no concern for people with health issues. All of the drivers are mean and nasty and refuse to do things such as help people with their belongings when they are being discharged from a hospital or other facility. Dont bother calling and asking to speak with someone of authority because they dont return your calls and if they do all you get is bullshit. Very poor excuse for a transporatation company. If i could give them less than one star I would. When called they said it would be 15 minutes....the next time they said 15 minutes again and so it repeated. Finally 2 1/2 hours later the transportation showed up. Should have just walked the 10 miles home would have got there faster. If you have a choice call a different company I would have. This company is terrible. I hired them to bring my mother home from the hospital. They were told ahead of time that I had 3 stairs and my husband would help if needed. They sent my mother home with a woman driver who stated she had never been trained on stairs. Consequenly, my husband brought the wheelchair up the stairs while the woman stabilized the foot rests. If I had wanted him to do that we could have brought her home ourselves without hiring a van service. The manager(?) I spoke with was unapologetic and offered no compensation. As a former nurse manager who dealt with many van services, I can state without hesitation, this company is one of the worst in my book. read more

Consistently shitty. Driver's are untrained and rely heavily on GPS navigation. If you're on a college campus you'll have to spoon feed them the directions until they get to you. Some drivers are friendly, some smell like alcohol and some smell like freshly chiefed cigarettes. All-in-all this cab company sucks but I guess you get what you pay for really. read more
