Me again -- one week to the day later. I tried to avoid Buffalo Transportation like the plague but my trip was transferred to them against my will tonight. The driver started out nice, even telling me over the VERY LOUD radio he wants to become a truck driver. The music was playing so loudly all the way home that it gave me a migraine. It should be noted this is the third migraine Buffalo Transportation has given me. By the end of the trip the driver called me a "stupid fucking bitch" and told me to "go fuck (myself) three times on the front lawn of my own home. It scared me and my neighbors. This company sure knows how to hire some crazy mother fuckers. read more

Great service, I requested a pick up and drop off at an important doctors appointment. The drivers were courteous and on time. I will use their service again. Thank you read more

Buffalo Transportation SUCKS! They are ALWAYS late getting me to my appointment. And today I waited OVER AN HOUR AND A HALF for my return trip home. EVERY time I call them, they hang up on me. They are the WORST transportation company ever!!!!! My rating is a big ZERO! -Anne Panna read more

they sucks horrible for transportation dispatchers are a joke and the supervisor all they do is play the owner needs to look into way mase contact them at 3:39 to pick me up before my 4:30 pick them sorry company didn't send a driver until 5:10 I'm calling the news Sam needs to loose his job as a supervisor plz don't nobody go through them ever they need to be closed they won't ever get my services as long as they open read more

Buffalo Transportation is the worst!!! Everytime I have ride with Buffalo Transportation, I often waiting for hours after they have been called. When they are contacted the operator often has SEVERAL EXCUSES of why they have not arrived. Lying seems to be the norm of their incompetency to provide medical transportation. They don't seem to recognize that medical transportation should be provided with accuracy and honesty.. Apparently providing quality services is not their goal. read more

This company needs to be shut down. Rude woman answers the phone... And just hangs up instead of answering questions. 45 minutes late for pick up called 3 times .. was told all 3 times that the driver was on the way.. THEY NEVER SHOWED UP!! I'm calling New York State Medicaid fraud dept. And anyone else I can to report this company. DO NOT USE!! read more

I have been taking this cab company for almost 7 years and some of your drivers aren't nice they pawn you off on other drivers i won't be using this company after today read more

If i could leave a ZERO I would. Driver was supposed to take my mother in law to rehab center from the hospital but instead driver dropped her off at the independent living center. She has dementia and had no idea what to do! Then they were going to charge us or her insurance to go pick her up and get her where she needed to go. I know mistakes can happen but seriously- asking the passenger with dementia where to go seems to be negligent! Awful. read more

The worst transportation company in buffalo. Very unreliable. I have had to reschedule my appointment for a 3rd time because Roswell always sticks me with these idiots. I would get to my appointment faster if I hitchhiked there rather than depend on these incompetent people. read more

Very poor service I was at df office 2_7 the cab never came 7 the driver was not good I have walker he never put walker in car

This company does not even deserve a star they deserve negative Stars they don't show up when they're supposed to they leave you sitting there and they don't give a s*** about nobody except taking the money plus they don't know how to drive and almost getting an accident read more

Was fine getting to my appointment, totally stiffed me on my return ride. Still waiting 45 minutes later and unformed it'll be another half hour. read more

I rode with last year from Buffalo General now I'm 6'1" 300lbs. Having hip surgery I usually ride in the front of the Mini Van. And the nurses station called them and informed them I need and have to sit in the front. Due to the fact getting in the back with a new and very flexible yet was going to be rough & painful. Well the driver said NO ONE in the front, well we went round & round and the 2 nurses stood their ground. But never the less the driver (A Complete A-Hole) got his way. We almost went at it when I wheeled myself over to him and tried to stand up. And I ended up crawling into the back and up on the seat trapped in one position. Nevertheless I will never ride with them again, and I suggest no one does either. The crew they have is terrible, no matters, no consideration towards their passengers, and they no problems keeping the client waiting and waiting. Unfortunately it's not about the clients but mainly for the green backs with that company. Karma will have a field day with these clumps. read more

Experience with elderly family member so horrendous, I won't go into all of the sickening details. Driver was far from safe, was downright verbally abusive, repeatedly screaming F-bombs & obscenities over blaring gangster rap and it only got worse from there. I will elaborate later. Incidents will be reported to proper authorities. WHY is Buffalo General recommending this company? THIS is 'safe & caring medical transport for your loved-one'? Beware. read more

If I could give them O stars I would. On February 9th of this year this company was used to transport my daughter. The vehicle that my daughter and I were transported in was horrible. Something kept happening where we would lose power and the driver had to pull over several times and restart the van. The fumes were horrible and I knew something wasn't right. Eventually the van lost complete power and we sat on the side of the road. The van caught on fire while we were in it. The wheel chair lift had no power we had to pull her out the side door of the van. We barely made it out in time. I am just now leaving a review because I'm still so traumatized by this experience and what could've happened. My daughter cannot communicate for herself due to suffering from five strokes, and having leukemia. I thank God every day that I rode in that van with her, because this would have ended far worse as I insisted, they get her out of the van. This company has not reached out to anyone to check on my daughter to see how she is doing after this traumatic event! They did not even contact the hospital that they were transporting her from that in itself shows exactly what kind of company this is! It will not let me add the photo but you can see it on the Google reviews! read more

My grandfather had an appointment Friday morning at Roswell Park. He was supposed to be picked up by Buffalo Transportation, as I was at work and needed someone drive him there. They showed up over two hours late, resulting in him missing his appointment. I would like to wring their neck because of the critical nature of this appointment. How unprofessional and ridiculous! read more

Say he's to drivers Pete, Victor and a few other guys for rides that I would give were the roles reversed. Too many virtues the fellas and efficiency &safe intact...are just too numerous to type out for the sake of time.. read more

One of these drivers blocked the ER loop at ECMC from ambulances and then became threatening and belligerent towards the EMTs and myself (I was an uninvolved bystander). You would think a company that primarily does medical transport would know better than to block access by ambulances to the busiest trauma hospital in the area. read more

5 stars for DRIVERS! ZERO stars for people in office who fail to understand we are at their mercy. On Thursday, July 8th my mom, 89 year old woman in a wheelchair, required transportation to a medical building at 310 Sterling. Drive had paperwork indicating 301- an entirely different building. It so happens the next day she did need to go to the 301 building. Thought it was a simple mixup- driver was going to let them know and I showed he the info the Thurs apot being 310. He drove her to 310. When I called for a pickup, a woman who must take lessons in rudeness informed me her paperwork said 301, not 310. She would not send someone to 310, with attitude to boot. "If you want your mom.picked up at 310 you have to call Medicaid and get them to change the address". I'm.in a doctors office waiting area, my mother in a wheelchair, and I'm supposed to call Medicaid? I've no idea how to do that, where to call- local or Albany- etc. I explained the very nature of the trip was WHEELCHAIR transportation. She then tells me: then you got to take her to 310. I say- you want me to push my elderly mom IN a wheelchair, through a parking lot, across a TWO LANE ROAD, to a other building she doesn't have an appt at , so they won't let her in the building, to stand in the possible rain in their parking lot while we wait "up to an hour" (standard answer whe ever you call for pickup)? She said it was t her problem and HUNG UP ON ME. I frantically called the nursing home- they must have gotten the same woman because the first time they got hung up.on and the second person did get results but not without a lot of attitude. We finally got a van. The facility managed to get a different van provider for the next day. This person in the office should lose her job. Her lack of compassion was atrocious. The drivers are always nice and helpful. This was obviously a transposition of numbers, I was not asking to be driven to another town, to another place, but to be picked up whete she was left originally. I would not recommend this business, and I will be filing a formal complaint with the company, Medicaid as well as my representatives, and I know the facility is filing a complaint as well. read more

I had problems with Buffalo Transportation from the start. Drivers ranting bigoted politics, refusing to close windows when it's cold, smoking without asking me if it's okay, which it's not, and the biggies of frequently showing up too late or not at all without even calling. I almost lost my doctor due to so many cancelled appointments and was stranded downtown in the rain once because the driver was 2 hours late for my return trip. Unacceptable! read more

On July 15th I was at Sisters Hospital they scheduled me a ride at 9:45 p.m. my ride was supposed to pick me up at 11:30 p.m. they never freaking showed we called them back and they said they can't pick me up till 7:30 in the morning on August 16th this is ridiculous that you have to wait an hour and a half for a ride that never shows and they gave us all attitudes unprofessional if you ask me especially when somebody that's wheelchair bound Buffalo transportation I do not recommend it for anybody you need to get it together or don't do it at all cuz nobody should be made to wait an hour and a half and never show it's ridiculous hope you guys can find a situation or solution to this problem because it really sucks when you're sick and want to get home to your bed or whatever I do not recommend this cab company to anybody I don't even want to give this a star ratings but have to know in the post my complaint read more

They are very late and unprofessional Gary the owner is rude and will not deal with problems Stay away, stay far away..... read more

Beyond rude, wanted them to stop calling me, hung up on me... this place is bad...... No wonder why they have a bad reputation

THE WORST!!!! Was scheduled for apick up at 12.30.. got a recorded ca;; saying they would arrive by 12.35...12.50 they still had not arrived. Call the services and was told they would be here in 2 minutes, no maybe 5 minutes? This service sucks and so dot he people working for them. I only chose them because I was getting tired of the pervy middle eastern drivers with other companies. I missed my appointment altogether because of Buffalo transportation. They will be getting the bill for it because it was their fault. STAYAWAY from this company. They have no respect for their clients. We're just supposed to sit back and take it because what alternatives do the disabled have??? read more

Never a bad experience with Buffalo Transportation. Recommend them to everyone I know who needs a ride! They really care about the customer and it shows! read more

If you can do not use this company for your transportation needs. Paid for a 2:30p pick up. Dispatch lied and said the hospital didn't request a pick up until 2:30p. Check the receipt. There in black and white is pick up at 2:30p. read more

This would be a three star rating if not for the drivers. I've used this service over a dozen times and only had one driver I wouldn't consider 'professional'. Aside from that one, they've all been great. My two latest were Christine T, and Kandra. They are the perfect example of personable and accommodating I've found with most BT drivers. The only real problem I've ever had with BT is punctuality, but that's as much a dispatch issue as anything else. I would definitely recommend BT, but schedule pick ups a little early. read more

I have had to cancel 3 appointments in the past 2 months due to the fact that the drivers do not show up on time (2 -2 1/2 hrs late). They have picked me up at the wrong address multiple times (i have told them multiple times that it is before the corner and they continue to turn the corner which adds and extra ten minutes) and due to the ice and snow at the said wrong address have gotten stuck and therefore not able to pick me up and get me to my appointment on time. Due to these recurring issues I have had to tell them to pick me up almost 2 hrs before my appointment and I still end up being late or having to cancel and reschedule read more

the best medical transportation company in wny - ambulatory-wheelchair-stretcher transportation

&%$*!. Apparently, this transport company is based out of Hamburg, NY, and there was a delay. Maybe they had to make a pit stop at the Erie County Fair beforehand for a deep fried twinkie and that delayed the transport. My mom was supposed to be transferred from Millard Fillmore Suburban to Brothers of Mercy at 5:00pm yesterday, and the nitwits didn't show up until 9:45pm. I think Millard Fillmore would be better off contracting w/ U-Haul than these chumps. I will be reporting this half-baked company to the BBC. read more

I had a scheduled pick up for 4:30am in order to be at the hospital but 5:30am for surgery add they didn't pick me up until 5:15am. NEVER AGAIN WILL I USE THIS COMPANY. I ADVISE YOU TO DO THE SAME. read more

Very poor service! Waited 2 hours for a scheduled pickup. Each time they were called, we were told they were 5 minutes away. Then the escorts got lost in the hospital twice with my mother on the stretcher. No explanation or apologies. read more

Buffalo transportation is the worst company ever..I'm so disgusted and we will never use them again. My paraplegic husband had an appt on Feb 13, 2018 at 12:20pm and they arrived at 12:30 after i called 3 times for their eta..very disappointed. read more

If i could give them less than one star I would. When called they said it would be 15 minutes....the next time they said 15 minutes again and so it repeated. Finally 2 1/2 hours later the transportation showed up. Should have just walked the 10 miles home would have got there faster. If you have a choice call a different company I would have. No one wants to be at the ER with a sick child a extra 2 hours at 3 am. read more

They refused to pick me up for my eye surgery ! I just could not believe it! Imagine GOING BLIND because of THEM ! Due to the seriousness of my situation, my eye doctor was very kind and courteous and called me a different cab from another company. Thank God for them! Buffalo Transportation is litterally the worst transportation company i have ever used. They are never on time. They mess up so much like there is litterally no accountability between comunication with dispatch and the drivers. Consistently shitty. Driver's are untrained and rely heavily on GPS navigation. If you're on a college campus you'll have to spoon feed them the directions until they get to you. Some drivers are friendly, some smell like alcohol and some smell like freshly chiefed cigarettes. All-in-all this cab company sucks but I guess you get what you pay for really. read more

This company is TOTALLY unorganized .. the manager Mike doesn't even have a clue what's going on in their own warehouse .. he set up delivery with me ..told me to drive all the way from Canada ..I made it there and he had already sent my truck away .. and told me to go elsewhere .. really ? He didn't even seem to care that he left me high and dry with a trucker sitting for hours .. me lost and no where to go ..and other shipping companies on hold ..he did not seem to care about anything other then not doing any extra work .. DONT USE BUFFALO TRANSPORT they don't stay with their word.. I'd be afraid of my shipment just never showing up .. beware.. . Very shady company read more

Worst transporatation in all of niagara county. They leave elderly nursing home residents at doctor appts for hours on end waiting for rides. When you call for pick up because you are always lied too, they tell you 15 mins then you call back because they havent arrived yet they tell you another 20 mins, then they roll in sometimes an hour or 2 late and they do not call to let you know that they are running late either. They have no concern for people with health issues. All of the drivers are mean and nasty and refuse to do things such as help people with their belongings when they are being discharged from a hospital or other facility. Dont bother calling and asking to speak with someone of authority because they dont return your calls and if they do all you get is bullshit. Very poor excuse for a transporatation company. Cant believe that they are still in business. THERE IS NO RATING I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE!!!!!!!!!!!! read more
