Thankfully after almost five months since the quote, the parts arrived in good condition. Not the contractor's fault of course, but they worked with me to schedule, and reschedule, and reschedule. It was only after leaving a voicemail that I would have no choice but to take this matter to small claims court that he finally finished the job, which I've included photos of below. You be the judge. This is the kind of work that you can expect. I've also included the timeline of communication below so that you can see the actions taken by this company: -May 17th work began; Estimated time of completion: May 24th. Not completed on time -Client out of town from May 28th to June 28th, but on June 7th notified him that yard access was available from June 7th-9th with family member on site so he could complete job. Did not show. -Notified him on June 29th that client returned from vacation and access was granted. He promised to arrive on July 5th at 1:00pm. No call/no show -Spoke on July 6th, promised to arrive on July 7th at 5:00pm. No call/no show -Made several attempts between July 7th-July 11th to make contact but all were ignored. -Called on July 11th from different phone number as a new prospective client and was called back within five minutes. Was promised again to arrive to drop off material that day or the next, July 12th at 5:00pm. No call/no show. Received text message at 6:05pm that work would be completed on July 15th at 8:30am instead -Received message on July 15th at 10:16am that materials were being picked up to complete job. No call/no show for remainder of day. Multiple attempts made to contact but none answered. -Received message on July 17th promising to complete job during the week of July 17th-July 21st. I replied that it needed to be completed today, July 17th. Promised to complete job at 12:00pm on July 17th. -Job was completed on July 17th as shown in attached photos. Old concrete that was removed by company was not disposed of as promised. Wall is uneven, not level, quickly stacked, and leaning. He said that he had to leave early and would return on July 19th to fix and complete haul away -July 19th, no call/no show/no response to contact attempts

I deliberately examined each painter then I met Fidel Garcia of New View Painting who showed up immediately after a Home Advisor (Angi's List) request. I was impressed by his humility and respectfulness which I did not find from the other arrogant painters before him. He said he wanted to prove to my friends/neighbors that my house roof/exterior painting project is "his business card". He did not disappoint. He is a one-man company with a few help from his friends. He worked so hard from day one up to conclusion day. He is very reliable who showed up on time and professionally went to work right away. He is licensed and it definitely showed in his skills and abilities. He is communicative, cleaned up after each work day as agreed, placing all his tools at a designated place in my yard. He is respectful of my time, my belongings, and space. He is friendly, precise and attentive to detail. Finally, he finished the project within the mutually-agreed time frame.
