I got a referral from my insurance and called to try to get a appointment. The woman said they had not received any referral. I called back but got an answering machine, I left a message asking for an appointment. They never called me back. My nails were awful making my shoes uncomfortable. I was tired of messing with them so I bought some nail clippers that I thought would work. Now I cut a chunk outa my toe. Being a diabetic this is not a good thing. I call Merced podiatry the woman said the were booking out to August. Oh she says my referral expires in August. Now I have an appointment on the 23 of July. I won't be making it. I will find another Podiatrist. read more

This has to the worst customer service ever. Your always put on hold, it's hard to get through to talk to someone. I called over an hour ago to get an answer and they told me they would call me back and they never even bothered to call me back. I tried to call back, but of course no answer. So I tried again and guess what they closed. So now I have to wait for hours to get my answer. I can't wait to not go here ever again. I very unhappy this business. I really am. I never recieved my phone call back to let me know my answer. I will have to call and ask them. If I keep getting the text we are helping other patients I will just keep calling and calling until I get a hold of someone and finally get my answer. If I have to be put on hold I will tell them no I can't hold anymore. I've been waiting since 3:45 pm for my answer. read more

Since early 2019 and again December 2019, 'Double Dipping' and wasting patient's time. Had to see Dr. Bailey for a consultation at General Medicine Clinic then later a second consultation at his private office Merced Podiatry Group before he even considers booking a third appointment for the foot surgery itself at a third facility called Surgicenter. I walked out of their office to see another Podiatrist. Dr. Huish put me through same process: Consultations at General Medicine Clinic and Merced Podiatry Group. If you don't want to risk taking huge amounts of time off your job avoid them. Dr. Huish however was only Podiatrist who cared enough to prescribe Diabetic shoes. read more

Front desk staff are friendly. however, this doctor is one of the worst that I've ever been seen by. I had a total of 4 appointments with this doctor. The first one was the evaluation, and in that appointment I found out I have a foot condition that that's never going away. Naturally I was very shocked and had a lot of questions. The doctor did not take time to answer my questions or concerns. He mumbled my condition under his breath and scribbled it on a Post-it note and sent me on my way and told me to take aleve. I had to do A TON online research to get answers to the questions i had. Each time I was seen by the doctor a total of 30 seconds to 1 minute. He mumbles, doesn't care about my actual health, and doesn't wear gloves when touching my foot. But they were all quick to collect my co-pays and have me buy custom insoles for $350. I told him in my last appointment that the custom insoles are not comfortable and I have more pain. His response was to go and buy $15 inserts at big five and to try those out. And of course... There's no refunds on those custom insoles. Never recommending this dr or office and will go out of my way to tell people my horrible experience. read more

I was seen for a callous on my foot that was quite painful, making walking difficult. It was taken care of easily, and I was supplied with some felt pads to take the pressure off the area. It has been over a week, and it feels great. I was also taught how to take care of the problem at home. read more

DOc Huish is the best ! He has kept my family and all my friends feet well for the last 30 plus years .

My husband who has diabetes, goes there, but I am wondering about the car e ,because his toenails all turned black recently, he also has toenail fungus. I asked him if the Dr. who examined him```` was concerned about the black toenails or had he ever recommended something for the fungus, he said no! SO, I don't consider this good care and I believe that people of color do not get the care they deserve. read more

Office staff is a nightmare. Dr asked what we expected of him....umm a diagnosis. Dr was a complete ass hole. Sure I wouldnt be totally happy if I had to look.at stinky feet all day, but assisting someone who is developmentally.disabled I see many doctors each week and he was the worst. He asked the patient if she wanted her nail removed permanently and she asked what that meant and he laughed at her. Dick! We needed to schedule a follow up and the office staff rolled her eyes when we told her when we could come in. I mean really, any morning before 11 is such a tough request? read more
