What they do have is a vast supply of pet food and supplies of all kinds, and the good nutrional kind, not like Ol' Roy at Walmart. They also have doggie clothing, pet toys, pet houses, automatic litter boxes, medicines, holistic tonics for your pooch or puss...you get the idea. They are very helpful and will entertain any questions and give you good advice. When I was desperate to keep one of our 2 week old kittens alive when he was trying his best to die, they had kitten bottles and formula and told me how to go about taking care of him. I am happy to report that Bob or "Wobbler" as we refer to him since he is a bit crooked from the whole ordeal but it just makes him more endearing, is still alive. Sure, it took 24 hours of me sitting with him and force feeding him every hour to do it. Yes, I had to keep putting him in with his Mama and his litter makes when she kept removing him and leaving him on the floor to die. But Mama and the boys finally took him back in when he got enough of his strength back and it was all worth it if you ask me... Its good to know that in an area like Great Barrington where nothing is "close" to get to, there was a place right nearby that had what I needed to save my kittens life.

They have an extensive selection of "good" treats for dogs and cats. When I say good, I mean that they are real, full if good stuff for them, not at all like the stuff you get at petco. On the other hand the 'freeze dried mussels' didn't go over so well. They do have a bunch of this 'No-Hide' rawhide chews, those are great since rawhide is very hard to digest. Another favorite was the beef cheeks coated in peanut butter. They also had a great assortment of toys starting with plushies all the way to the 99.9% indestructible toys(they say they are 100%, but I know a dog that finds the flaw every time). This store is a must for dog and kitty lovers, easily visible on Stockbridge Rd/Route 7, right next door to the fire dept.

If I didn't shout to stop and let her go... he would have broken her leg. He looked up and laughed saying "oh is this your dog" she was visibly shaken and in pain. We contacted the veterinarian who stated she was very fortunate I walked in and they monitored her for damage. She was sore and had a limp for 2 days following our trip for a simple nail trim and grind. We called and spoke to the district manager who initially laughed at my boyfriend for being upset and then later apologized for doing so. They stated they would review the video- and get back. They never did. There is nothing this company can do for our family- we just wanted the acknowledgment that this occurred and apology, along with a promise that this won't happen to anyone else. This company cannot do that... each day, they put dogs in harms way; it's disgusting.

Went back today when they could sell them and one was sold yesterday. When I said they were suppose to be on hold for me. All that was left was the Black Moor fish. So I said I would take that one than. Even thou I was suppose to get both. The employee was trying to put the black moor in the bag when the fish missed the bag fell to the floor & they eye fell out after hitting the floor. I offered to help him put the fish in the bag before this all happened. Normally they are good with fish with us. But Not this time.
