She comes home happily exhausted. Berkshire Dogs Unleashed has been fantastic integrating dogs, of any age, size, and breed for socialization. Lea has also had grooming and regular nail trimming. She has been here since week 1 and her training with them was above and beyond expectation. They were also very proactive when kennel cough ran rapid twice last year and were able to prevent dogs from being affected. The staff that the Kohlenbergers hire treat the dogs (and their people) like family. Courteous and respectful. BDU had also made incredible strides for their community. They supported and held a fundraiser for a young, sick boy from Pittsfield who had to spend months in Boston....(#Carterstrong) At Christmas, they sponsor a giving tree for kids in need. No tag was left behind. Every child cared for. They have held a wonderful canine carnival fundraiser for BASK (Balance and Service K9s). Story book donations to Williams School. They even sent me a get well token after I had emergency surgery in February. More recently, (Berkshire Poodles with the Kohlenberger family) has donated several comfort dogs (18 to date) into all of Berkshire County. I can tell by this expression how much she enjoys the facility and the staff. In their constant photo shares, daily, you can see she's playing and engaging with others. See for yourself. There are ways to get rid of tangles without hurting the dog. Lotions, sprays, and technique - starting at the end of the tangle and working down. But they couldn't be bothered. She hardly had any knots at all and I wound up with the WORST hair cut for my poor puppy. Not only that, but I found a huge wound by her ear that had to have been caused by the clippers. Who is inhumane? Cannot recommend these lazy non-artists.

First off, it's impossible to find someone to groom a cat in this area. We had a situation and desperately needed help with our long-haired Siberian. Unlike every other groomer we contacted, Furever Friends Family couldn't have been kinder, more generous, or more accommodating. They squeezed us in for a same-day appointment without hesitating. The staff are incredibly knowledgeable and genuinely love animals. They took the time to understand my cats needs, her personality, and ensured a tailored grooming experience. I took my maltese here for boarding and grooming for almost 16 years (my dog just passed). In this time the cost for a grooming only went up three dollars and some change! I was always happy with his cut and reasonable time it took for him to be groomed. Amy used to groom him, she was the best. My dog always came out with a big smile on his face. The staff are ALL beyond kind and considerate towards my dog and I. I boarded him at least once or twice a year (for 10 days) in the suites with the webcams. You must book early for these on holidays. I loved checking in on him and watching him play in the doggie day care (while I missed him on vacation). The staff are attentive to any medications and/or dietary needs, and will call you if there are any major problems while boarded. This business is so great that there is a strong following of people who keep it really busy, so plan ahead for a grooming and boarding. It will be worth it. I totally recommend Pet Spas and Suites. They are so personable and caring. This isn't run like a corporate pet store where you never see the same people again the next time you come in, the crates are half the size at the corporate chain pet store. I went once and they were rude. I had a friend whom the corp. chain didn't take notes on her dog who had a hip problem (nor did they listen to the owners) and the dog ended up getting hurt- requiring surgery- costing thousands of dollars and pain and suffering to her dog. That would never happen at Pet Spa. It will be sometime before I get another pup but I know where I'll be taking him/her when I do. I will miss the Pet Spa & Suites family until then.
