I had a 2pm appt and entered the facility at 1:45 and there were 2 kiosk to check in. There was no one there and I was skeptical already. I entered my phone number & it asks for my ID as it instructs me to place it to be scanned. Then it asks if I want to use my insurance to pay for today's appt & if so to scan my insurance card, done. I wait about 3-5 minutes & more customers roll in and my name is called. The staff who took me & performed the necessary requirements is named America. She's friendly & efficient. She proceeds to ask appropriate questions, then informs me what the appt will entail: vital signs, labs & a urine sample. She draw my blood w/o any issues. She directed me to the restroom to provide the sample and just like that, I was done. Easy peasy! Maybe I just got lucky because when I left, there were about 6 people waiting to be seen. Turns out I fractured 3 ribs and have some fluid in my lungs and a partial collapsed lung. They admitted me into the hospital Ana have been here for nearly 24 hours now, probably staying one more day. Nurses are attentive and funny however laughing hurts right now, and doctors are great also so far.. I will update this review further but so far thank you to Nurses, James, Sheena and Mark and thanks Doctor Vangala. More updates to come. Note this hospital was recently acquired by UCLA, it was already great but perhaps is now just even a little better. Thanks for the 5 star care.

He walked me through everything with total confidence and made the whole process feel easy. He was also super patient with my barking dogs, so there's some bonus points right there. "Does it need to be centrifuged?" He was even such a pro he knew which cabinet door held my garbage can without looking. The poke itself was right on the money, nearly painless, and without complication. He took the kit with him to do the postal dropoff himself - it was included with his services. One less thing for me to have to do, which was appreciated. We shook hands, said goodbye, and that was that. He did not solicit me for a Yelp review. A lot of service providers will offer deals to customers in hopes of scamming their way into a good review - it's a red flag whenever I see it and it makes me mad for having wasted time reading reviews that were essentially bought. But Andre didn't do that at all, which is why I immediately got on my computer to write him a review anyway. He earned his reviews by being good at what he does. I'd use him again anytime.
