Has gone above and beyond for my girl. I've done business with this office for years. Years ago, the office staff was just a hot mess. Miscommunications, lost papers, overcharges, etc. THINGS HAVE CHANGED FOR THE BETTER!! MUCH, MUCH BETTER!! The staff are friendly and have gone the extra mile for my daughter. OK, sometimes you have to call 2-3 times, but mostly things get handeled on the first call. Just be persistant. They want to please.

By some miracle, I found Dr. Mirow. He worked with me for a year, trying every type and combination of medication. He never gave up; remained kind, supportive, understanding and encouraging the whole time. He at last came up with a combination of medications that worked -- I have remained on this regime for over ten years, with minor tweaks here and there. I have not suffered from any serious bouts of depression since then. This man is a hero! He is professional, knowledgeable, and informative. His office staff is mostly personable, professional and efficient, as well. I recommend this man more than words will ever be able to express.

Crazy reviews on here- I came to see Dr. Karine Khatchatrian after having been on probably every…read moreantidepressant on the market which was prescribed to me one after another by every psych I saw. I always felt sad, then the meds worked, and then sad again. I explained to her my constant struggles of up and down and she nailed it with her diagnosis of bipolar disorder. I was put on a mood stabilizer as well as an antidepressant which I can adjust as need be- my mood never falls or rockets to the points they were before (I've actually had a job for over 5 years- which blows my mind as I always used to get unsettled doing anything for so long). I usually go in in the mornings and haven't had a problem finding time for an appointment or getting ahold of the office. The only time there was any type of delay was during Christmas last year and my psych was out of the office, but the staff handled everything I needed. Do I have to wait sometimes for my appointment- sure, but I also have to wait in a drive-through for food often (I'm looking at you in-and-out). I would say that my appointment time is super short now-a-days which I can see people not liking- She's not my therapist so she doesn't need to know about EVERYTHING causing me stress in my life- only if things are manageable for me (which has been yes). I've been able to maintain relationships longer, think more clearly about the future, maintain a hobby and turn it into something more that generates me extra income--- these were all things I struggled with before her treatment. She's also very lenient on my cannabis use (and I use A LOT). She advises against it, but makes sure to ask me if my use is going up or down as this can be an indication of my mood adjusting...I had been turned down by offices previously for continuing use alongside treatment. Idk, maybe I'm lucky and see the benefits despite random reception kinks (honestly I haven't experienced any that I can even recall).

If you choose Karen Stein MFT as your therapist, you will begin to feel validated immediately! I have seen Karen several times, over the years, checking in with her on several different issues. Thank you for always being there when I have needed you and you are the best!

I ended up calling the number to the office and all it was, was an emergency line. I said well we are at your office for our appointment and the door is locked. They couldn't help us. Around 15 minutes later after we already left, I received a phone call from the office and they said 'well open the back door for you'. I wasn't even aware that there was a back door. The therapist who spoke to my 16 year old son was asking him about what he wants to do after he graduates. My son said 'maybe go into the military'. The therapist says 'you really want to go into the military under Trump?!' What kind of therapist says this to a child? How is this even relevant to his therapy? Also this therapist made an assumption after meeting my kids for the first time. Very unprofessional office. I would never recommend this place.

She has helped me tremendously. When I first started going, I was having some missed appointment issues, but that was related to the issues I was having that impacted my ability/performance skills with maintaining my calendar and staying actively engaged in my own personal responsibilities (self care). After reading some reviews, it is clear the patients were upset and needed help; however, we need to take personal responsibility for our own mistakes and shortcomings, and not take it out on and blame the receptionists. In cases where it was PCSDs fault, there is no business out there that doesn't make mistakes sometimes. People are human, it can happen. I recommend being kind as you work through any issues. Yes, keep a record of when you cancel an appointment and ask where you can send an email to confirm to document. Think about what you can do to make things less stressful for you. The world isn't out there to cater to you, you need to cater to yourself. Think about how many people the person you are speaking with was yelled at by that day. Work through the admin stuff, because there is great care to be had and you're missing out. Good mental health to you all!

They have absolutely no sympathy for any of your complaints. They just yell at you or scold you and try to make you feel like its all your fault. I called twice they hung up on me twice and then when i tried to explain that I didnt want to wait another 30 minutes on hold they put me on hold in the middle of my sentence. For a place that is supposed to help people with mental health they are sure making it so much harder. I work at a clinic and I would never ever treat any of my patients this way.
