If it just so happens that this stranger is one of their patients, then they will make decisions about their care based on this completely random conversation, and not only that, they won't even tell the patient about the conversation (other than to say they had it). If this seems reasonable to you, and like a company you can trust, then go ahead and try them out. If you're even slightly concerned by the above, then do as I recommend, and run!
