I felt as though I was the only bride in the boutique. She never rushed us or pressured us into making a decision. You could truly tell she wanted to make sure I LOVED the dress. After stripping down to nothing to try on dresses, my attendant would not listen when I told her what I wanted, and instead was content to let me rifle through the racks alone. It's…read morea pretty large store, and it offers a shoe area, multiple dressing rooms, a plus-sized area, and a regularly-sized area. It's bigger than most mall Maurice locations that I've seen. Maurices sizing goes from a size 0 all the way up to a size 24. Their plus-sized selection is smaller (about 1/4 of the store) compared to the regular sizes, but it's still quite a bit of clothing. Staff is really what makes this store. Staff is helpful without being pushy. They happily will open a fitting room for you, and they occasionally will check in and ask if they can help you find items. Lots of other people were taking advantage of that, and staff was helping them put together great outfits by making suggestions. They are really good about regularly using your name and making you feel like a valued customer. I was looking for a scarf in a different color, and the staff was really helpful. They looked it up on their own system, double-checked throughout the whole store when the system said they didn't have it, and then offered to call down to the Waterloo location and see if they had one for me. The entire experience was very friendly, and I always got the feeling that the staff genuinely was having an okay time working there and wanted to help. Price can be a bit high depending on the items. I'd recommend trying to take advantage of their sales; they regularly have discounts or "Buy One, Get One ___" sales which help lower the prices. They also offer a free rewards program that gives you a $5 credit for every $100 you spend, so that will you save a bit more money. Finding specific items can be a bit difficult, though, so you may need to ask for help. For example, their scarves are placed in multiple areas throughout the entire store, so it can make it hard to compare all scarves at once. However, with such helpful staff, it really isn't too hard to eventually find what you're looking for. Maurices has nice clothing, but what really makes this store is the staff. This is probably one of the best customer service experiences that I've had in awhile.

Thank you for not forgetting the big girls! They have plenty of selection in casual and dressy options. My one complaint is in the summer there are way too many sleeveless options and not enough short sleeve selection. I'm not allowed to wear sleeveless at work. They always have ample friendly staff ready to assist and get you a dressing room. The store is always clean and well stocked.

The entire store was very clean, and even the fabrics section which is usually unorganized in most craft stores was very organized here. All of the fabric was nicely bound and everything. I picked out my fabrics, and the ladies at the fabric counter were great about cutting the fabric as well as giving me recommendations on sizing for the blankets. I didn't have to wait long to have my fabric cut, and the fabric seems pretty nicely cut. The cashier was very friendly, and I didn't have to really wait in order to check-out. I didn't bring in any coupons, but she applied one of the coupons she had sitting around to my order which saved me about $5. I definitely appreciated that! This is a nice and organized store that seems to be well-kept with knowledgeable employees. I'll be back.

They've saved me on more than one occassion on how much fabric I would actually need (yes, I'm a novice). My grandma is usually working on a quilt and tends to come here as well. They have sewing kits, machines, every possible color of thread, buttons, ribbons, embellishments etc. and also some nice seasonal things but nothing out of the ordinary.

Yonkers is blah but Von Maur has always been the Iowan equivalent of Nordstrom's: pricy, quality, a little intimidating. I found I quite enjoyed it last time I was there. I've definitely aged enough to appreciate though its in the crap mall it still has a piano player, church lady hats, and some really nice items. The lingerie section was superb, as was the accessories, shoes and make up. The clothes are a little ugly and out of touch, but it has enough redeemable qualities I can see myself shopping here frequently. Now if only it was in Crossroads instead...

First and last time here. I only stopped by this town. The laundromat accepts both coins and credit…read morecards. The facility was also very clean and wash prices reasonable from $2.25 to $9. They have different sized washers which made the price vary. Their dryers were huge and could easily accomate comforters and priced at $1.50 per load. I like it. This is how i imagine a good laundromat should be. There are also sufficient seating. However they have limited tables and baskets probably around 6-7 total. The place was not packed with people too. I like that. It gets noisy. They have 1 tv that i noticed. I brought my laptop and did some paper errands at a desk table and my wash and dry load was completed in about 1hr - wash (26min), dry (35min), then manually folded. Highly recommended. On google review, this place goes by laundry plus. Same address though.

I'm in the area weekly for work, and will do my best to avoid this Laundry Plus location next time. Without exaggeration, this establishment is filthy! Oddly, the restroom is the cleanest area in the building. On a positive note, their wash costs are reasonable. However, I'd rather pay more and have a clean place to sit for 2 hours.
