There is absolutely nothing about my experience that reflects honesty, integrity, or accountability--values that are foundational to Christianity. Using faith as a marketing tool while operating like this is misleading at best. After my move, multiple items were lost and damaged. I went through their claims process in good faith and ultimately signed a settlement agreement for $1,549. The company confirmed in writing that payment would be processed within 3-4 weeks. It has now been over nine weeks, and I have received no payment and no meaningful communication. At this point, I've had to escalate the situation beyond the company itself. I am in active discussions with the Fort Belvoir transportation office, and this company's handling of claims and failure to pay is being reviewed in the context of their eligibility to continue handling military PCS moves. Service members and their families deserve far better than this. Let me be clear: this is no longer about the money. It is about principle. A company that signs a settlement agreement and then ignores it is not operating in good faith. If this is not resolved immediately, I will be pursuing legal action for breach of contract. The demand letter from the attorney generated an immediate response within a day, rather than the weeks I spent from March to June I spent trying to get a hold of someone at the company by phone messages or emails, none of which were returned in the last two months. A settlement check was issued in early July and sent a week later following the correspondence with the attorney. I have every reason to believe that without the attorney's involvement, no such check would've been issued. Keep a copy of all your correspondence with the company should you have to do the same. Make sure it's in writing.
