June 29, 2023 - Thankful Thursday…read more Review #435 - First To Review I am so glad today on Thankful Thursday to write My Review about my family doctor that I have known for 10 years. At the beginning of the year she moved to this practice with new name Alliance Health Macomb. Her family medicine practice is with another physician in Suite 300 inside the Shelby Medical Mall. The staff here with check-in (Peggy) and check-out are very pleasant and efficient at their jobs. The lobby is very large and welcoming with wellness and sick areas to sit while waiting for my appointment. I have seen Dr. Kristen Kavanaugh every September (My Birthday Month) for a wellness check up and also in between if and when I am sick. Back on March 10th I consulted with her on the phone with a video chat about my decline in health while working at my job. She listened with great concern and attentiveness to my symptoms, then gave me some advice till my appointment at the end of March plus an inflammation medication for 4 months. Her Education and Knowledge makes Me very comfortable when she listens and communicates to Me in a timely manner, not rushed with my appointment. We discuss my health issues and treatments or suggestions within strict confidence. She demonstrates Comprehensive Care in a Personal Way! So I was having day and night pain in hands, legs, low back and neck for about two months from February to March while working a housekeeping job. During my 1st appointment on March 24th she examined my swollen hands and legs. She referred Me to visit the Henry Ford Medical Center on Hall Rd to have Ex-rays of back, legs and hands plus bloodwork to determine my diagnosis which was true as she thought. She even followed up with Me after my tests by phone and messaging Me in My Chart online before my follow up appointment on April 17. I am pleased that Dr. Kavanagh along with my other three medical doctors are affiliated with Henry Ford Health plus use this App to connect with patients and myself called "My Chart!" When I receive an email from Henry Ford Health, I can connect in My Chart to receive a message from her, make appointments, view test results, message her back, get refills on prescriptions, and also Henry Ford Billing is connected in it as well. It is an Awesome health feature for Me as a patient. No more phone calls or waiting on hold or please leave a message.... Dr. Kavanagh specializes in Family Medicine and Services Primary Care. Her residence is at Henry Ford Macomb Hospital. She is very understanding, personable with compassionate. She uses her medical professionalism in a helpful way with suggestions and solutions to improve my health whether with urgent or non-urgent visits. I recommend her if you are looking for a family doctor since she is also currently accepting new patients. Office Hours Are Posted along with photos of this Medical Practice. 5 ***** star rating in my opinion and review for this Board Certified Medical Doctor and for caring and helping Me as a patient through Henry Ford Health! My next follow up appointment and bloodwork with her is in late August. Sincerely, Karen N. SpecialK

Review # 530…read more Wednesday, 12/31/2025 Here's My Year End Review with 5 stars for Silver Pine Medical Group for l this location on Romeo Plank near 22 Mile Rd in Macomb. I use this Silver Pine location to visit with my primary care doctors, Jennifer Hichme and PA Kristina Batkin when appointments are open and available besides 3 other office locations. Back on 6/26/2025 she was available here with caring attention to discuss my medical status and results after blood testing. My office experience here was efficient. This location is convenient for early morning Blood testing and by appointment ONLY. The Lab is in a clean setting with caring nurses that draw blood quickly. Thank you again Silver Pine Medical Group! Sincerely, Karen N. Macomb MI.

I have been a patient here for years and the only reason I come here is because I love my doctor…read more(Dr.Gikas) as he is excellent. But overall the practice does not value patients time AT ALL. I have never had an appointment time take place at the time it was scheduled. I have always been sitting in the room for a minimum of 30 minutes and as long as an hour and a half past my time. Its extremely frustrating and irritating. They don't care and have yet to try to make it change all this time. So, if you value your time or only have a small window to get into the doctor between work or whatever obligations you may have definitely look elsewhere.
