I am happy for this practice that they have found another beautiful home to take care of their patients. Nicole, the sign in receptionist is darling. What a great personality to have greet the patients. We all know the first impression starts with not only the phone call to make your appointment but also the person at the sign in desk. Nicole was lovely. She's a keeper! I also love all of the familiar faces that have remained over the years in this practice. It says so much about the physicians. Longevity and dedication are hard to come by these days so kudos to you all. Kristen Bove

I have got to say, that Ascension Urgent Care today was my saving grace! From the intake gentleman at the front desk, to my MA Sabryn to Dr. Chris-I can honestly tell you they actually CARED! Both my Mom and best friend worked in many urgent cares-so I kinda feel like I have a tiny bit of insight as to how they do things. (Only a little) This team rocked it! Like I said, I felt like they truly cared, I felt heard! They were very thorough,-yet efficient in helping me deal with two different issues. If you live in the area, and are looking for a great Urgent Care-look no further! Exceptional job! (Super nice to feel so positive after having a real crummy feeling few days!) THANK YOU Ascension Team!

I've been a patient at this practice for several years and had been taking the same long-term…read moreprescription without any issues. Originally, my prescription was for 1 1/2 pills, which meant I had to split a pill each day. At my last routine physical, I mentioned to Dr. Kastl that I had been taking 2 pills instead because it wasn't always convenient to cut them, and the difference in dosage was minimal. She agreed and officially changed my prescription to 2 pills. Six months later, when I requested a refill, I was told I had to schedule a medication check before it would be approved. I scheduled and attended the appointment, which lasted about five minutes and involved no meaningful discussion or changes to my treatment. The following week, I received a $150 bill for that brief visit. I contacted Dr. Kastl multiple times to express my concern and pointed out that, based on my understanding of Michigan law and federal guidelines, the medication I take does not require a mandatory six-month follow-up. Rather than acknowledging my concerns or showing any empathy, my messages were dismissed by simply stating "it's our policy". In this situation, patient care took a back seat to billing. After being a loyal patient for years, I was extremely disappointed by how this was handled. I will not be returning to this practice and would encourage others to carefully consider their options when choosing a primary care provider.

It offers Urgent Care, Laboratory, CT Scans, Ex-Rays, MRI for their Imaging Side. This past year I have been here on 4 occasions for testing and imaging. Hours are 7 AM to 7 PM Monday through Friday and Saturday and Sunday too The previous name was Beaumont and my past review is gone, lost or deleted along with photos too. My current visit at this Corewell Health Center has been for blood test, Carotid Artery Doppler and then a follow up appointment with family physician who has an office on the 1st floor. My orthopedic knee doctor sent Me here over the Summer to have a scan of My hips and knees using their Open MRI table/machine since I get claustrophobic. Every past visit at this Corewell Health Center for blood tests and Imaging have been pleasant from check-in desk staff, then with nurses and technicians to ease My nervousness in a pleasant environment. Results are completed in a 3 day timeline. I'm pleased and glad this Corewell facility is here, along with many caring professional staff whom are courtesy, knowledgeable and very helpful at their Corewell careers. Sincerely, Karen N. Most people never post a picture or a review for fear or maybe because they think their voices…read moredon't matter. My voice carries weight. The quality of care was poor. I would rate zero stars if I could. I hadn't even made it to the office to meet any providers recommended to me by my PCP, who told me at the time the doctor was the best in the area and specialized in the field . I had almost forgotten to leave my honest review this week but I believe it deserves to be said that after playing phone tag for three days, having my appointment rescheduled with out my permission or confirmation I had to beg to speak to the office manager Lisa-who is about as condescending as the people who work for her. What is best for the scheduling staff is what dictates when you will be seen and who you will be seeing for any life threatening procedures. Luckily after letting my general physician know of how I had been treated, I was able to a schedule to meet with a qualified surgeon who likely has less years of experience but is readily available to meet with someone who according to Lisa, doesn't present enough of an emergency for the surgeon to consult with. Lisa and her staff prevented me from meeting with Dr.McIntosh and his esteemed colleague Dr.Martinovski. When I worked as an assistant in a providers office back when I was in my early twenties, telling a patient that they will be seen when it is 'best for the office staff' or dictating who and when they should see the doctor...would get me fired on the spot. These providers happen to be surgeons and provide life saving care for the local community and based on a few bad interactions with their dispensable staff likely drives business away and mars the rapport between patients and practice. I can't imagine how disorganized the clerical staff is after having experienced their sheer disregard for my health. Who's to know how the quality of medical care will be?If you have blue care network ppo or hmo I implore you to not be discouraged - don't play phone tag and make sure you shop around. There are other practices who hire lots of better quality staff to consult with in the area. To who it may concern, I'm going to be alright thank goodness as someone who needed this procedure done soon - I will be meeting with a surgeon soon! No thanks to James, Lisa or Marina. Go ahead and try to sched an appt - the staff won't soon improve the quality of customer service they provide and I can only imagine what billing services is like after the fact.
