16 delicious flavors, 50 sweet toppings, clean bright colorful decor, friendly staff, indoor & outdoor seating, what's not to like? It's all smiles anytime anyone suggests Menchies and everyone is happy with the delicious concoction that they create. They even have a chalk board for the kids to write on and just got a huge connect four set to play with. The unique fun spoons are good enough to keep and fun to use after washing again and again in the dishwasher too.

The best place for champions to celebrate with dessert!

The fun never stops here! Mama and baby date complete! Theres always something new, fun and exciting. The service was fantastic per usual. The flavor options available were SOOO GOOD! We couldn't decide. This will always be our go to place for a treat.

Overflowing trash - A tall stainless steel trash can is filled with used paper cups and containers, located inside a restaurant near a window with colorful decorations.

Most of the machines were empty or not functioning correctly, the store was dirty, the trash can was overflowing, and neither associate that was working helped us with anything. They were wearing headphones and staring at their phones. They started shutting everything down at 8pm but aren't supposed to close until 9pm... Love Menchies but we will never come back to this location.

Playing tiktaktoe - Two children are seated at a table playing tic-tac-toe with orange game pieces, with bowls of snacks nearby.

We go here maybe once or twice a month! Always get greater as we come in the place is clean and we love the froyo and topping choices. Fun little games for the kids. I recommend 100%

I went for the mochi balls & I stayed for the experience. While in town, I searched high & low for mochi balls & I found them, buuuuuut they were smaller than I expected. But nonetheless, I added them to my fro-yo snack. So my tale starts as such: Upon entry, I'm greeted by a employee who gave me instruction on use of the yogurt/ice cream machines and the other two dessert stations. Graham cracker crumbs, gummie bears and MY MOCHI BALLS!!!!! Smaller than normally, but still satisfying to my tastebuds. Your creation is weighed, you pay & you're done. Additionally, there's a loyalty plan that's free & seems pretty sweet, pun not intended, but funny none-the-less.

Goodie bar! Fresh fruit, poppin boBA, and MOCHI!!!

Fro-Yo...no, not a new character in the Hobbit series...but this frozen yogurt would be Hobbit approved! :D Yum Yum...I love this place! The mascot is somewhat Japanese anime looking to me, super cute! I usually like the Cake Batter flavor, but this time I saw Watermelon Sorbet...love at first sample taste! You are allowed to have small samples of the various flavors, free. So if you are gonna drop some coin on some frozen yogurt, and it's not cheap, you better like the flavor you get. I love the toppings here...especially the mochi. Mochi is one of my most favorite things to eat. Mochi ice cream specifically. Mochi with Frozen Yogurt is about as close to FRESH mochi ice cream that I can get to here in the desert. But I was really surprised that they had a vast assortment of fresh fruit for toppings! EXTRA star there for sure. The store was clean and bright. Not too busy for a friday night, but it was pretty chilly outside. The service was fine, nothing extraordinary. My bowl of yumminess put me back $6...pricey yes...but sooo worth it! Great treat once a month after a hard workout at the gym :D

I don't know how they do it, but if it says it tastes like an Oreo, that's exactly what you get.

What a fun new place! (New for me!)…read more The burrito was a whopper, and the tacos we got were filling as well. Loved the brownie dessert and the mango guava agua Fresca too! All in all, great meal and a great price. Two drinks, two dinners and a dessert for $48 before top.

We read a lengthy glowing review of La Reforma in a recent ABQ Journal issue and had high hopes of…read morefinding something similar to the tacos we used to get in and near Cuernavaca, Morelos where we lived 2008-13. Sadly, we found kind of a mixed bag. First, the standout items. The margaritas were fantastic; some of the best we've had in the USA and extremely generous. The pinto bean sides were some of the best we've had since returning to the States in 2013. Perhaps not quite as great as those of the shuttered El Cotorro but still stellar. Next, the tacos. We tried only two of the several tacos on offer - The El Pastor and the Pescado. Both were served in what was called "corn tortillas" but these differed from virtually any corn tortillas we've ever had in Mexico or elsewhere. They were at least twice as thick as your typical corn tortilla found in just about all Mexican taco places in Mexico and elsewhere. The consistency and taste were quite different from your normal corn tortilla also. In fact, they really didn't seem to have much taste at all, of corn or anything else. Now to the fillings. At the aforementioned El Cotorro, the meat for the Al Pastor tacos was cooked on a vertical rotating spit which was the only way we ever saw it cooked in Mexico. The meat La Reforma used in their al pastor tacos was more chunky and way drier than any we ever had in Mexico or at El Cotorro. It didn't taste similar to any al pastor tacos were ever had in Mexico. It also kind of seemed like it wasn't cooked recently whereas in Mexico you can watch the cook with a large knife carve off the meat from the vertical spit right in front of you. Usually the time between the carving and it sitting in front of you is under 10 seconds. The fish taco at La Reforma was disappointing. The fish resembled a fish stick but one without much flavor. We wouldn't order it again. We gave the mini-churros a try for dessert. Because they were so small, they were way crispier than your typical regular-sized churro. We might return but we'd skip the al pastor and the fish tacos and try some of the other tacos. But we strongly suggest that they dump their current "corn tortillas" because they're not that good. Way too thick and virtually tasteless. Lo siento. Kudos for the margaritas and the beans. The rest of what we tried didn't live up to the recent glowing review in the ABQ Journal.

Holy guacamole, this place slaps harder than my abuela's chancla!…read more Y'all, I stumbled into On the Beach at Tin Can Alley like a tumbleweed with a GPS malfunction, and let me tell you - best wrong turn of my LIFE! So I'm thinking "eggplant burger" sounds like something my hippie cousin would order while doing yoga in the desert, but NOPE. This purple beauty showed up looking like it graduated summa cum laude from Burger University. The sweet potato tots? Forget about it! They were so crispy and perfect, I'm pretty sure they were blessed by the sweet potato gods themselves. I may have made some questionable moaning sounds that scared the family at the next table, but no regrets. And can we talk about the Oktoberfest from Santa Fe Brewery? This beer was smoother than my dance moves after three margaritas (which is saying something because I dance like a caffeinated penguin). It paired with that eggplant burger like peanut butter and jelly, or like me and bad life decisions. The service was so good I wanted to adopt the entire staff. They were attentive without being clingy, friendly without being weird, and they didn't judge me when I asked for extra napkins because I eat like a toddler at a birthday party. Bottom line: If you don't come here, you're doing your taste buds a disservice that should probably be illegal. I'm already planning my next visit and considering getting the eggplant burger tattooed on my forearm. Will definitely be back faster than you can say "green chile!"

Downside? There are a variety of restaurants there but there were only two that interested me toda - and one wasn't open yet. The one I tried (and had been long wanting to try) was a disappointment. There is another one there that I know is fine and at least a couple more that look vaguely promising. You'll find something to eat - but I can't guarantee it'll knock your socks off.
