We got a birthday cake here because the Baskin Robbin's on 550 in Bernallio messed up the ice cream cake we had ordered. What they prepared was not what was in the picture on line and in the on site catalogue. So here we got a basic round cake with white cake, chocolate ice cream and baby blue icing with white squiggles! It was good, but not what we originally had in mind. 2 Recent Experiences = Amazzzzzzzing! Last week and this week we had the BEST customer service! The one guy (didn't get his name) and the 2 guys this Friday evening were nice and speedy with our orders. The sitting area has been spruced up and it smells much better than recent years - the past few times (1+ years ago) the Staff were on their phones, back counters were dirty and food they had been eating/drinking on the back counter in view. Sitting area was unkempt, hot/muggy/ and smelly. We stopped going after a few bad experiences. These last 2 times were such a different experience and I'm sooooo happy and hope the Crew they have keep it up. They welcomed us with a smile and were happy to serve us! I hate giving this place 2 stars because I love their ice cream, but this location can be an absolute nightmare. If you're wanting to get ice cream at this location don't order it to be delivered. You have to go to them. We have yet to receive the correct order. Missing items, wrong items, no utensils, and if you call to let them know they made a mistake they couldn't care less. I've grown up loving Baskin Robbins and love the ice cream, however it's mostly the case that when ordering through Door Dash, my order usually 50% or more incorrect or not give spoons. Tonight, we ordered a banana split, completely correct and a brownie sundae with 2 different flavors of ice cream. When we received our order, the sundae had 2 of the same flavor and no spoons yet again. I called the store to let them know and the girl who answered said she didn't make order and I told her spoons were not included. I explained that this happens often and she then hung up on me. This is our go-to spot for ice cream, even throughout my childhood! I love where this location is, and you can't go wrong with $1.50 scoops after 5pm on Tuesdays! This deal is also available on the 31st during months that have 31 days. The customer service here is usually a hit or miss, you'll either get someone great and is willing to help. Or just someone there giving you ice cream and taking your money. I love the different flavor varieties from Baskin robin, we usually get the cherry jubilee, New York cheesecake, pistachio, and the strawberry cheesecake (just came out for April of 2018). Single scoop, double, blended drink, waffle cone, no cone, etc. Customer service is friendly. you can ask for a sample of any flavor, as many as you want until you find the perfect ice cream for your liking. In the strip mall close to the subway, dominos pizza, twisters. They have a wide variety of flavors to choose from, it's not called 31 flavors for nothing! We looked online at what we thought was a working menu and drove down to order. Nope. They don't serve half the things you see on the online menu. The staff was rude and distracted and made us feel as if we should be doing anything else but trying to spend money there. The ice cream was stale and freezer burned and tasted awful. The person who made our sundae lower than the the rim of the cup. If you're going to serve stale ice cream at least try to make the sundae appear like it's going to be good. I am very disappointed in this location. Tonight was the second time in 4 days that I have come in and attempted to get the flavor of the month. They were out both times. There was no sympathy from the workers, in fact one worker just sat in plain view behind the counter eating. I would think a "rain check" for tonight would have been in order due to the special prices on Tuesday.
