a cup of ice cream with a spoon sticking out of it

Nothing beats a warm day other than a good ice cream. So we hadn't been to a Cold Stone Creamery since moving to Albuquerque. It was not busy so we were able to order quickly and chose from the specialty menu- Chocolate Chip Cookie Doughn't You Want Some and the Berry, Berry, Berry, Good creations. The cookie dough was missing main ingredient - the cookie dough. The worst part is the person making my order is the one that took it. I ended up with a conglomeration of something other than what was ordered. The Berry creation was done correctly. This saved them from a one star review. Oh well - we'll be avoiding g a return trip.

Ordered a kid birthday cake a week in advance. Get to pick it up.. they alert me they couldn't write my kids name on it due to sprinkles and out of color he chose. I asked why noone called and got a list of excuses. Lady claimed she wasnt trained to write. Which came out as hideous as the previous "trained" writer. My homemade cakes are written better. Preordered ice cream wasnt ready, I had to show her on her receipt where it was listed. Will not be coming back, terrible customer service.

This looks nothing like what I ordered.

Half of the experience at any restaurant is the service. Unfortunately Cold Stone falls short here. Ice cream is good, way over priced but good. Service was lacking.

While frequent hand washing is being practiced, the bakers dont wear gloves while pounding out the dough. I do so much in my own kitchen by feel that I can see the necessity of bare hands when folding and rolling pastry, but as there isn't a dedicated server/cashier, the lack of gloves made Raz a little nervous. On the other hand, the strudel is thoroughly worth nearly any risk, as I've never had one so good. I think the red berries were cherry, and I've no idea what went into the sweet cream, but I've been dreaming of it for a couple weeks. We tried to go back for more last Sunday, only to find that despite an internet posting of Sunday hours, Mas is closed on Sundays. I'm not thoroughly deterred, and I figure it's not too far out of the way of my daily commute that I might not be able to try for more strudel mid week...

January 30, 2026 Rio Rancho, NM Cottonwood…read more FIX YOUR CUSTOMER SERVICE OR LOSE YOUR CUSTOMERS FOREVER! Worst Customer Service ever! Walked in and nobody was in line but me. The girl was so busy focusing on to go orders she couldn't even say hello. After 3 1/2 to 4 minutes I finally said hello and she came over and said what can I get you? I gave her my order, and then I paid with cash. She was wearing gloves and took my money and gave me my change. She walked back to fill some more cookie orders. I asked if she could change her gloves because she just touched money. She was aggravated and irritated. She threw her gloves off into the garbage and grabbed two new gloves and went behind the corner. I don't know what she did behind the corner, but the other employee was watching her the whole time in curiosity, and then looking up at me. Which is interesting because she did not hear the conversation going on. In hindsight, I should have just asked for my money back. The woman came out, got the cookies put them in the box and gave them to me. I thanked her for changing her gloves and told her I was immune compromised and I thought it was not appropriate to touch the money and then the food. Apparently this is an upsetting thing for her to conceptualize because she once again was irritated and disgusted as you could see in her face. I then asked for my receipt. After pounding on the keypad with great force, she gave me my receipt. I thanked her again. And left. No, I did not give her a tip when I paid for my cookies. I didn't give her a tip for two reasons. First she never acknowledged me and I waited for up to four minutes and then had to acknowledge her before she even came over to assist me. More importantly, I don't think it's important to tip a person at a cookie shop to give me a cookie I paid five dollars for. That is their job. Am I supposed to pay five dollars for her to ring the cookie up, and then tip her for giving it to me? This has got out of hand.Crumbl cookies should not be asking for gratuity at the register. If you want have a tip jar that is something different. I just went out to dinner and the waitress worked her back end off to serve me and all the other tables. I should not tip you for handing me a pink box. Perhaps this location needs to rename themselves to crummy cookies! For record and management to know I went in on January 30, 2026 at 6:05 PM.

Los Ranchos Bakery - The inside is very comfortable and functional. And it's always fun to see which pastries they have near the cash register.

Friendly service and faces always warm up a cold morning, and we definitely got that at Los Ranchos Bakery. The menu is simple and the baked goods look great! We ordered the breakfast sandwich with bacon and green chile cheddar bagel, a lavender latte, and a red chile mocha. A cherry tart and a cinnamon roll to go. The drinks were, unfortunately, missing a few ounces and flavor. The sandwiches were smaller than I expected. The bagel had a hint of heat and chile. It was perfectly toasted and held the egg and bacon quite well. The bacon was crispy and the egg was well done. It was filling in the end. The baked goods will have to wait until tonight but I've had their scones before and they were excellent! I'm betting on excellence on the tart and cinnamon roll. Overall, this is a nice local coffee shop that can be a great alternative to a chain coffee shop. The space is nice for some work or chatting with friends and family. Don't bet on the coffee, but definitely go for the baked goods!

My hubby picked out a cinnamon cheese danish and apple crumb danish. They were both big great for sharing with me. . The pastry itself is really good and flaky. Christiana was at the table and answered any questions we had. She was great. So friendly and helpful. She is in a great location to get some exercise then have a danish. That's my kind of workout!!

I was able to snag some of her delightful treats last weekend at the Rail Yard Market and this weekend at North Domingo Baca Park. Now I have a lot to say. Anyone that knows me knows I love rice-crispy treats and pecan sticky buns. My kryptonite if you will. Christiana makes some dang delicious crispy treats and ooey gooey pecan rolls. Last weekend at the Rail Yards I snagged a raspberry bar and a pecan sticky bun. I enjoyed the raspberry bar, it had great flavor and was soft and flaky. The pecan roll was everything I think a pecan roll should be. It was ooey gooey, sweet but not too sweet with crunchy pecans to balance it all out. This week she was trying out a new take on a rice-crispy. She used Golden Grahams as the "rice". Super tasty. It was soft and crispy with plenty of flavor. Different texture than a regular rice crispy and dare I say, I think I liked it better. Chunks of chocolate gave a pop of difference throughout. I would definitely have one of these again. I also got a monster cookie. It was just the way I like cookies, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. I would highly recommend you try out her yummy treats for yourself!
