First time visiting this hardware store. Great selection across the board. We were shopping for bathroom fixtures and shower replacement materials. We received excellent customer support. They worked with us for more than 30 minutes and we were able to get our project off and running.

Needed a few items today for the house due to needing to make small repairs at home. Menards had what we needed. The items were in stock! The staff was helpful as we needed to ask where one particular item was located. It was easy to find a staff person too. We didn't have to wait in line either. The person at the register was friendly and efficient. She also thanked us for shopping at Menards.

This store is awesome. So many things for home project and I've never had a problem of them being out out stock on items. They also carry things for food and pet needs. Staff is always friendly.

this shouldn't be on a new rug!

In my opinion the worst customer service in the store and through corporate. I will never shop there ever again.

Worst cabinet purchase experience ever. Inexperience, lack of attention to details and bad customer service. Wish I went to Home Depot.

I had such a great experience with the stove I bought from Eugene years ago, that Lorain Furniture and Appliance was the first and last place that I looked for another. It's been a year now, and I love this thing. Works perfectly. We also had some guys out to do work on a washer and dryer and had a great experience with them as well. The whole crew here is always so knowledgeable and helpful.

Sure, there were a few items that were a little pricey (like these corner book shelves that were $350/ea.), but really everything else was pretty negotiable and, well, cheap! They even had a porch swing that I'm still considering coming back for and it's only $40!! Umm, lay off it--it's mine. They also have lots of appliances, antique and new, as well as new mattresses for a pretty teeny price. I'm tempted to also go back for their bed frames, since mine is on it's way out. And for only $20-25, you really can't beat that. I'm excited to come back when they get some new antiques in, but for the time being this place is packed with interesting things. I say packed because it's literally a hodge-podge of cool stuff piled on top of each other into a maze that's almost impossible to get through. That's how you know it's going to be good. Like I mentioned before, the gents there seemed relatively open to negotiation on some of the antique furniture pieces, so don't be too shy to ask. If you can get past the pure terror of hanging out in the neighborhood, you'll definitely be rewarded with treasures for cheap.

I called them for service and they said they would come out the next day and charge $85 + tax, total $91.58 for the service call. Before the tech came out I researched the codes on the internet and found that there were two very simple procedures that any able-bodied person could do and, if performed, could eliminate the problem. If this didn't work, replacing a water level sensor switch, available for about $50 retail, which takes 2 minutes to do, almost always worked. Although getting into the washer to do this only requires removing about 12 screws to get the top and back panels off, I'm many years old and not exactly in great shape. When the service tech came out he looked at the washer, saw the codes, and didn't really even touch it. He said I needed a new sensor switch, would have to order it, the charge to install it would be over $200, and the service fee to come out that day wouldn't apply to the repair cost. Since he was already there, I asked him to perform the procedures that I had looked up on the internet.. His response was: Our policy for this problem is, we will only replace the switch. He said someone would call me the following day with a repair. That was on a Friday. By Thursday the following week I had not heard from anybody there. So I called and spoke to somebody who asked me a bunch of questions, seemed confused, couldn't give me any information about the estimate, and then told me that the owner will call me tomorrow. It will be an interesting conversation, if he calls me that is. Regardless, there is absolutely no way I will have this company come out again.

Now we find out that our pictures will not be able to be transfered. Off to Best Buy to look into a photo stick. The first young man we encountered knew NOTHING about how they work. Now that makes three of us. He goes off to find someone that can help. Next young man is only a fraction better by telling us that you put the photo stick in the port, tap on the photo you want to save. How to retrieve them was a mystery. We decided to buy two photo sticks thinking maybe we could figure it out but I wanted to look at tablets first. Again,we are not knowledgeable so we asked ( still the second young man) how tablets work. We would be better off asking the grandkids but the employees at Best Buy are either not knowledgeable or just can't be bothered since it is a no commission job. So we get home with two photo sticks. Step1. Put photo stick into phone, tap picture....is something suppose to let us know it was successful? Step 2. There is no port on our computer to put this thing. Everytime we go to Best Buy the employees are all the same, completely useless. Step 1. Put photo stick in the phone. Step 2. Tap on photo, is something suppose to tell us this was successful? Step 3. Try to insert photo stick into the computer but computer has no opening for this gadget.
