Took my car in. Paid for a local two truck. I already knew my fuel pump needed to be replaced. I told the mechanic I found a few with warranty at a reasonable price.
The mechanic tells me my fuel pump is working fine. He charges me $75.00 and says he replaced a cable of some sort.
The next day the car stalls on me. I have to tow the car home in the middle of the night. Another $85.00 :-( The tow truck does me a favor and helps me get the car to the mechanic.
I tell the mechanic, ITS MY FUEL PUMP. and I already found the parts at a good price. He tells me he already ordered the parts at double what I found them for. We go back and forth, but I give in. I pick up my car and again, the next day the car stalls on me again. Im stuck and the mechanic tells me I have to tow my car back to his shop. He wont pay for towing and says he will look at it, but I have to pay for the tow. By now Im over $700 into my what should be my repairs. I can't believe this. He texts me an hour later and tells me, If I remove the part myself and return it to him he will refund me the part money. I cannot believe the horrible service.
