The stage was beautifully done with eight unique nicely decorated trees. After a friend and I completed sound checks everything was ready for family and friends. Celebration Service 5/5 Well attended, a full house. Another Friend of the Captain led the Celebration. Everyone enjoyed great memories, shared stories mixed with laughter and tears. They were amazing instructors. I no longer worry about Brad when swimming. He learned so much. Seeing the progress Brad made in a little time, made me want to sign up too. I have been swimming since I was 2 years old, but I was never formally taught to swim. I thought this was a great opportunity, plus it got me out of the extreme heat! While swimming there I found out they offer tennis lessons, aerobics, exercise, and other fun adult classes. The facilities and buildings are always clean and accommodating.

I've been involved with the Deer Valley Community Center programs for some time, and while it used…read moreto be a great place for kids and families, unfortunately things have taken a step backward recently. * New rules and policies have been implemented that seem to take away from what once made the program strong. * The focus doesn't appear to be on true player development, but rather on accommodating complaints from parents. * Leadership does not seem receptive to constructive feedback, nor do they incorporate changes based on input from coaches or families. This is disappointing because the center has so much potential and has historically provided a positive environment. Hopefully, the program will take feedback more seriously and return to prioritizing growth, fairness, and development for all players.

I've also sent my kids to camps at this facility over the years, and most recently, my kids have used the basketball court for training. I've always found the community center staff to be friendly, the building clean, the restrooms working, etc... I've even gone in to warm up a bit on a cold day / cool down a bit on a hot day. I cannot compare this community center to others in Scottsdale, but it does remind me a bit of a community center where I grew up in Michigan and brings back many warm memories. I appreciate that they select different coffee flavors each week that sound and taste delicious and for a very reasonable price. I was recently here with the toddler to redeem one of our summer reading challenge prizes, a free drink from the cafe. The drink was a blue lemonade with a gummy shark and whipped cream on top in honor of the oceans theme for this year's challenge. It looked so cute and tasted superb! It had just the right amount of sweetness and tartness and the toddler was zooming around for hours after chugging that drink down lol. They recently reopened up the outdoor patio too it looks like so this will be a great option for snacking or getting a nice beverage when the weather gets cooler.

It was pretty crowded, with no vacant table in sight (granted, I didn't thoroughly hunt for one by walking around the whole building). Restrooms are to the left immediately after entering the building and are quite small; the women's room only had 2 stalls and no mirror. There were flyers recognizing opioid overdose and free period supplies, which I loved and showed me that this library is truly a community hub for vulnerable populations who are often overlooked. I also appreciated that the water fountain had a bottle refilling station. This one-story building has a teen section and 2 private study rooms, which a librarian kindly booked for me and my friend, despite neither of us having library cards. The study room was equipped with a wall-mounted whiteboard, which we didn't use but appreciated. All in all, my friend and I had a great experience getting work done for about 2 hours in our private room, with the help of the librarians. Would definitely come back if I'm in this area and need a place to do some work!

This was my second time reserving a study room while interviewing for my dream job here and I typically would go to a different library for a distraction free environment however the one I like is still under construction. During my recorded interview which I only had two chances to record my answers I was interrupted BOTH times while trying to complete my LAST answer, the first time the male that works there stood by the glass and I looked over while he told me I had 5 mins I said okay but in reality I should have just left because right as he walked away and I gave my response for the final time this evil lady with black hair came over and banged on the window and then proceeded to kick the door in since I had a chair propped up against the door! I honestly could not believe she did that and she no doubt ruined my chances of being hired for a career of a lifetime! Evil witch! My advice is to go somewhere else. They are rude as can be and the other lady who acted like it was an inconvenience to show me to the study room I booked can also GTH! 6'0 tall and 300 pounds is crazy work and I'm assuming after she looked me up and down several times she felt triggered. They had a lot of available amenities for us to use if we needed them. The day of process was great! They had carts available for us to utilize to unload/load our items. The Maple room was fantastic and large enough for our space. In the contract, you can request the staff to set up the chairs and tables for you for an additional fee, which we opted for. All we had to do on our end was set up the party decorations and set out the food. They assisted us in setting up the audio, there was a mic for us to use, and a tv if we needed it. The room itself is connected to the patio area, which would be fabulous for an evening event or when the weather is nicer! They also had doors for you to use to exit straight to the bathroom area. There was plenty of parking as well and a playground nearby for the little ones. I was very happy with this space highly recommend!
