Well, it was that time to put an old car (that I love) in the shop knowing it was going to need some serious work. They made me feel totally comfortable, took the time to thoroughly diagnose the issues and provided explanations along the way. At know time did I feel like they were pulling my leg and the ending price was a little below my personal estimate. Very happy. She (my car) runs good. I have some other things that need to be fixed on this and my other cars as well. Aberdeen Auto Care will definitely be my go to.

Once again, they gave me an excellent, detailed report and took the time to explain everything clearly. '' The car has been well maintained and this is solid purchase.'' Their honesty and professionalism helped me feel completely confident moving forward, and I bought the car knowing exactly what I was getting. From the front desk to the mechanics, everyone was friendly, informative, and respectful of my time. Even the owner personally called to confirm my appointment, which showed genuine care for the customer. After visiting several other shops, I can honestly say Mr. Tire provided the most complete, trustworthy service -- and all future work on my car will be done there. When I arrived for my inspection, I was greeted by David, I believe. (There are two guys who run it- Tony and David). Both were very nice and friendly. Since I was waiting for my car, they made sure I was comfortable. They have a TV, comfortable chairs, and a nice bathroom for people who wait. The inspection finished quickly, and unfortunately I needed to replace a pair of shocks. David took me back and showed me the parts that needed replacing, and explained to me what was wrong with them, which I really appreciated. He told me that I could get it repaired elsewhere, and he could reinspect the car, or I could get it repaired there. I chose to get it done there, and he called around to find the parts. He located one that could be at the shop for the next morning, and quoted me just under $400 for the repair. Since my car is a BMW, parts are normally expensive, and I'm pretty sure it would have been at least twice as expensive through a BMW dealer. I came back the next morning, and both Tony and David worked on the repair and got me out of there in about 45 minutes. Two thumbs up for making a failed inspection a good experience! If I lived closer, I would definitely make this my full-time car place. The owners are friendly, helpful, fair, and good at what they do. I'd highly recommend this place!

Thompson showed up and the first thing driver told me before getting out of his truck was that I would have to pay him $100.00 for the tow. I let him know I was covered by AAA Plus and he said doesn't matter, I need to pay him $100.00!! I called AAA back and told them what I was being charged and AAA rep said,"no he is wrong, let me talk to him". I handed the Thompson tow driver my phone and HEARD THE AAA REP. tell him,"this customer is covered; Thompson will be paid for this tow". Then another tow truck arrived from Thompson. They talked to each other and BOTH TOW TRUCKS LEFT WITHOUT TOWING MY CAR!!! The officer called another company and now I have to pay this other company since they are not in AAA and for storage of my car when it was supposed to be towed to my house by an AAA approved vendor. AAA needs to drop these clowns!!!

I had the strangest experience at this Midas location today…read more I had called yesterday and made an appointment. Dimitri was super friendly on the phone. I came in for an oil change at my appointment time. The team took my car straight in. They performed an oil change service and tire rotation. They gave my car a clean bill of health, charged me 30 bones and some change and sent me on my way. While I was in there, I witnessed Dimitri treat 4 different customers like family. I couldn't believe how nice he is. He genuinely seemed to care about every person who walked in the door - myself included. That's what made my experience here so strange. I've never experienced such high quality customer service. Dimitri has made me a customer for life.

In my opinion, if I am paying for a diagnostic service, I should receive an accurate diagnosis of the problem--not a guess. Once I know what is actually wrong, I can then decide whether or not to proceed with the repair. I was given an estimate of more than $1,300 to repair the A/C system, even though the shop did not appear to know with certainty what the problem was. I was told the vehicle needed an evaporator and new A/C lines, and that because of the age of the vehicle, the parts would be difficult to find. One of the lines they claimed needed replacement was estimated at around $320. I found the exact replacement line from an online auto parts supplier for approximately $12. I would suggest not using fear tactics or claims that parts are "hard to find" as a way to justify expensive repairs. You never know who you are talking to. I am a mechanic by trade and have experience diagnosing and repairing automotive A/C systems. I replaced the line myself, noting that the condenser was already brand new. After installing the correct line, vacuuming the system, and recharging it with the proper amount of refrigerant, the air conditioning system worked properly. The total cost of the repair was well under $100. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this service department for A/C diagnostics or repairs. My issue was resolved and fixed by me with a new $12 line from rockauto.com , refrigerant from AutoZone , I also borrowed their equipment to vacuum down the system and put in new refrigerant less than $100 total invested, which was a far cry from the $1,300 estimate I was given.
