I absolutely love this place! You'll notice how large, spacious, beautiful, and very clean it is as soon as you walk in. The workers have all been welcoming, on top of it, and pretty quick even when it gets slammed packed. Matcha - what I was researching before landing on this gem. I used to live in Los Angeles where matcha is a staple in Little Tokyo so it's been hard to find something as equivalent. One thing I noticed about this place is that when they say they use high quality matcha, they actually mean it. If you've ever been to a Matcha Maiko location, it almost tastes like that. Due to that factor though, if you're used to matcha from around the area (I live an hour away) then be prepared for a bolder, earthier, more bodied experience. Good thing for you, I've tried a few different ones to be able to assist. Mango Harmony - semi-sweet, has mango bits giving the drink multiple textures, and on the refreshing side. Great for those primarily wanting a matcha drink since it's more powering than the mango, but with a refreshing twist. Strawberry Fields - DELICIOUS! In my opinion, this is the perfect balance between a refreshing strawberry drink (with actual strawberries) and a matcha. The strawberries really do lighten the drink, smoothening the matcha texture, while providing a refreshing indulgence. Ube - loved it, but is definitely the sweetest one so far. If you're an ube fan - don't skip it. It's bold, but light. Sweet, but not overwhelming. Great for those stepping into the matcha realm as well. The ube definitely overpowers the matcha, but if you want to cure that sweet tooth and hold off on the desserts, this will hit the spot. (SEASONAL) Banana Pudding - yes, I did this in a matcha form and nobody can tell me it's better otherwise. Just WOW. If you like banana pudding or just bananas, RUN don't walk, because I'm not sure when they'll stop. This drink was amazing and delicious. Well balanced, slightly creamy, and reminded me of the actual dessert in every sip. Dubai Bites - YUM! The best choice for any chocolate/pistachio lovers. I've gotten this twice and they're always SO soft and airy, perfectly topped, and tastes just like the Dubai chocolates. Very cute establishment with friendly service and lots of different choices--coffee, mixed drinks, ice cream, sweet danishes, savory danishes, and more. We decided to try the Dubai crepe and a waffle cone with ice cream. I had only tried a crepe once years ago and decided it wasn't really my thing, but I gave it another shot this time. It was dressed perfectly and tasted delicious! I also tried the Melt & Drizzle coffee, and it was really good too. It was a little pricey, but I think the overall experience was worth it. I had been passing by Melt n Drizzle for a few months before I knew exactly what kind of place it was. Maybe 2 weeks ago my coworkers were talking about it and I decided to go. When I went the place was full of customers. The line wasn't that long though. I was going to get a take out order but there was still seating if I wanted to stay. I decided to get the brownie crepe. I found a seat to wait on my order. One thing I noticed, they are serious about making sure the customer knows what's in the food. They called my order before it was ready to make sure I didn't have any allergies to the food. My order didn't take long to be made. I got home and opened the brownie crepe. It looked like a work of art. When I took my first bite, I instantly realized it was the best crepe I'd tasted. I was blown away by how delicious it was. The shop is bright and inviting and decorated in a classy but cosy sDespite the long line, I got to the front pretty quickly so there wasn't a long wait at all to place my order. (Took about 10 mins to actually receive my order) I decided to keep it simple and just try the strawberry ice cream which was DELICIOUS! Service was great! Everything I ordered came out as described and pretty quickly. The indoor area is great for a calm cafe or dessert trip with your friends or family. Ive been here a couple times, trying the chocolate danish (basically a chocolate croissant), the ferrero rocher bites, the refreshers, and the energy drinks. The refresher was good, very reminiscent of starbucks mango dragonfruit refresher. The energy drink tasted very similar to 7brew. The ferrero rocher bites were tasty, but very decadent. I shared with one other person and we still couldn't finish it. The chocolate danish has to be my all time favorite thing here, as it is flaky and deserves the name of a pastry, unlike most doughy "croissants" sold in grocery stores.
