The Moving Link service is worthless.  We were encouraged to engage them by a real estate agent who…read moresaid it was an added service of their firm.  The Moving Link representative came out, surveyed our home to estimate the number of goods to be moved, and said she would send us multiple recommendations of qualified moving companies.  We were sent two -- count 'em, two -- moving companies that we could have found using the phone book or Yelp.  The moving company came out and did their own estimate, so that was a waste of time.  The move was the most disastrous we have ever made (and we as seniors have moved many times in our lifetimes), costing us over $25,000 dollars in lost and damaged items.  When we asked Moving Link to intervene on our behalf with the company, their response was to call the company to tell them that we were not happy and to hope the company would do something about it. Don't waste your time with Moving Link.

Moving Link was a godsend. I really don't know why anyone would move without them. My real estate…read moreagent gave me the contact and said "This is probably the most valuable information I am giving you right now." They are a "free" service (paid by the moving company) and they come in and advise you on all aspects of your move, answer any questions, etc. I was pretty overwhelmed by the process before talking to them, and they calmed me down and took over. They saved me a lot of time interviewing moving companies myself, got me the best deals they could find among the companies that they have selected based on their exacting criteria, advised me on how large a storage unit I would need for the part that was going to be stored, and gave me other invaluable advice. I haven't actually made the move yet, but so far I am happy with the moving company they selected for me and feel ready for the jump ...

They notified me right away and provided me the updates in the parts they ordered and the plan in repairing. They took care of all of expenses since it happened under their watch. It was ready when I requested it by and they did the right thing by not charging me for any of the work, even though some of it I expected to pay for. This is obviously not a common situation, but it can happen on any piece of equipment being worked on. It was how great I was treated as a new customer that has made me a permanent customer. This is such a less common experience nowadays for customer service, so I wanted to make sure they get the credit they deserve. Keep up the good work!

Nice guys until you ask them to honor a trailer warranty for trailers purchased through them…read more Something that would have cost them $100 in warranty support, resulted in a loss of several new trailer sales. Escalated to the parts and service manager, and was literally ready to purchase an additional trailer with Uriah that day. And they don't care. I was disappointed in this lack of customer service :( It's extremely rare I give a bad review, but when top management of an establishment isn't willing to honor a warranty, even more so when you have a customer with a check book out to purchase another trailer that same day...that says something. I hope that things change down the road, and there's an opportunity to 'shop local' again. Tri Cities has some good alternatives that stand behind their warranty w/o dickering. I wanted to stay local....
