PLEASE READ,!!!!! Worst, absolutely the worst experience! I should have yelped first...Ugh $80+ for 2 t-shirts, 2 dresses and a coat that I asked to be 'washed'. They charged an additional fee because my coat has a hood. We picked up 2 t-shirts costing $13.00 to wash (). And the dark shirt faded. This place is good on cleaning and pressing trousers but not much else. I didn't notice the collar stains on my shirt and the burnt smell they had on them until I got home. I would venture to say that my shirt didn't even get washed, very disappointed. read more

All I could say is "wow". I travel at least one week a month. When traveling I often run out of clothes by the 6th day and go and have my laundry and shirts cleaned. Since I always travel with a similar wardrobe, I get an idea of costs around the country for cleaning the same amount of clothes, in NYC $23, NJ, $26, in Yuma $41 ??!!. $41 for small bag of wash and fold (underwear, shorts and tee shirts), one pair of pants, one shirt and one sport coat. They charged me $4.25 to dry clean a $19 pair of Old Navy Shorts, and $2.75 to clean a $10 old navy polo, that I didn't ask them to dry clean. The laundry was to be ready by 3PM, showed up at 5:45, they had me wait 10 minutes while they folded the laundry and I still needed to refold when I got back to the hotel. read more

I took my husband's uniforms there and the sleeves are now messed up. The employees have no idea what they are talking about and I was given the wrong price. I normally wouldn't care but after the horrible customer service and the fact that several people where threatened I thought I should give my review. This is the second time I have been to melody cleaners and the second time I have had an issue. The first my wife took in my suit and the pants toothpaste on it. She picked up the suit and when I went to wear the suit the stain was still there. I called them and told them my suit still had the stain, they asked for us to bring it back in. My wife took it back in and they did take off the stain the second time around I gave them the benefit of the doubt and was appreciative that they removed the stain but I was annoyed that we had to take it back. Then my wife took in a two slacks. She informed them of the stains and request for my pants not to be ironed/pressed. She picks them up and when I go to wear the pants they both had been pressed and the navy blue slacks still had the stain on them. (Removable stain, i got it removed elsewhere) I called them again and now I'm furious and late for work. I spoke to a representative and she told me to take my pants back in. I asked to speak to the person she referred to as "boss". Not once did he apologize. He wanted me to take the pants in again. (That means two more trips once to drop it off and once to pick it up) I told him that this is ridiculous and now I'm late for work. I told him I would write a review and only then did he say "sorry to lose you as a customer, have a good day" If he would have been apologetic or at least emphasized with me I probably would have took it back. But I think he should pick up my pants, why should I go back again? I was late for work and had to iron my pants inside out to remove the creases... I dropped off an expensive pair of pants for dry cleaning that specefied no water. When I picked them up later they obviously were washed with water and shrunk 3 waist sizes. It was brought to owners attention and he did not take responsibility and started to argue and got defensive. I got a quoye when i dropped off $13 for shirt and pants. LAW ENFORCEMENT UNIFORM....Picked up and bill was $21...WTF?? Was charged for bib overalls, pants, and a $2 environmental fee. Young girl at counter said i was charged for overalls instead of shirt because it had a zipper. She tried calling the owner buy no answer. On the way out of there i called the other place in town quoted me $10+tax. I eill be contacting mgmt. And complaining tomorrow although i doubt it will help. My first time and my last! Not happy with this cleaner at all. They are very overpriced. They don't do a good job. They have ruined few of my husband's and my expensive clothes. The management doesn't know a thing about customer service nor customer satisfaction. They use too much chemicals that make clothes smelly and stiff. I regret having them do my laundry. Their wash and fold service is the worst I've ever had. They will wash your clothing and they won't lose anything, however the clothing will come back wrinkled like it was bunched up in a ball for hours. I spoke to an employee and they said they fold it immediately after it comes out of the dryer and it always comes out wrinkled for all customers and that's just the way it is. And if I wanted it to be pressed I needed to pay for a "pressed service". I have used many "wash and fold" services at numerous dry cleaners throughout the entire country in the past and never had an experience like this before. If you want to have to iron all of your clothing with starch and you don't mind spending extra time having extremely difficult wrinkles to remove then go ahead and use their service. Friendly staff, horrible wash & fold service, and expensive compared to many other places where they actually place your shirts on hangers and you get your clothing without wrinkles despite it only being a wash and fold service. They were unapologetic, and had no interest in trying to rectify the situation at all. If you wash and dry your clothing at home and you take your clothing out of the dryer and hang it up it won't wrinkle. They're not gonna do that for you. They are going to leave it somewhere then fold it, making it almost impossible for you to get the wrinkles out without starching and ironing. read more

RUN! DO NOT use this Business if possible! I used drycleaning/laundry services for a couple of years, spending 100/week. I changed to another Co when Owners lied to me about how they were cleaning my WHITE LINEN which was coming back YELLOW & GREY & with HOLES! They claimed they were being washed SEPARATELY, but it was obviously not true, because once I washed myself, everything was PRISTINE WHITE again! Unfortunately the very expensive pieces with HOLES had to be thrown away! They refused any responsibility. The LAST STRAW was when a FAV DESIGNER BLOUSE was lost, they claimed they did NOT have it..Suddenly FOUND it after 5 calls to Owners, who NEVER RETURN CALLS & do NOT APOLOGIZE. After returning to this business when their Competitor Closed for good, employee told me she was told by Owners to NOT ACCEPT MY CLOTHES because they had had PROBLEMS WITH ME BEFORE!!! These people are very LUCKY to be in such a SMALL COMMUNITY where Customers are not so particular about their Clothes & to have INHERITED this BUSINESS from DADDY, otherwise they would have FAILED LONG AGO...I also want to say that each time I saw one of Owners in Person, Mike, he NEVER said HELLO or even acknowledged me & was LAUGHING with & TICKLING a FEMALE EMPLOYEE when I walked into the Business one day! Stay FAR AWAY from Melody Cleaner's. I sent in a dress to get altered by them. It was not done the day it was supposed to be, after the owner called and asked me to leave it with them and give them another chance, I went the next day to pick it up and it was ruined. It was bubbling out on both sides, the rooshing was so loose on one side that I could pull it over the sequins, and then there was a very noticeable line going down the front of the dress on the right hand side. My event was the next day out of town, after much back and forth I was compensated for some of the dress. They did not pay me the full amount and the night before my event I was having to find a new formal and jewelry. I posted a review on facebook of my experience and I was attacked by the owner and her mother, I have all of the screenshots of the conversation, even though they deleted their comments. They even went as far as to threaten my husband's job, by telling me that if I did not, shut my mouth, that they would call his employer and he would lose rank (my husband is in the military). My opinion and advice to other's is to find another cleaner's and to stay far away from them. read more
