Great restaurant. Super clean and good service. Pizza was delicious and manager is the best pizza maker.

I guess you could say I'm also a pizza connoisseur. I enjoyed my pizza. This was not pizza. It looked like it and we ordered "Pizza" but it wasn't appetizing and it certainly wasn't appealing. It was quite disappointing if I may say so myself. A client of mine ordered two pizzas the other day one of them was pineapple and ham. You can barely see any toppings on the pizza. Very disappointing for the price for two pizzas was well over $40. You've got to be kidding me. read more

Mellow Mushroom - I took two bites, was very disappointed. It tasted like cardboard no taste whatsoever. Clearly no toppings. - Pizza Near Me - Alpharetta, Georgia

Loving us some mellow mushroom! The crust is just right and the flavors are out of site! They have a cool hippie vibe to their properties that speaks to my younger self. This is a newer location and smaller than some I have been to but it was nice! Of course the food was top notch! Just wish they would add green olives to the topping list! There is actually quite a selection of food options if you not looking for pizza but I really suggest the pizza! Already making plans to come back here with a group! read more

Mellow Mushroom corporate needs to visit this location and correct the issues. I ordered ahead to save time, and it took 15 minutes longer than when I've ordered right at the counter. Everyone except the cook there walking around with zero sense of urgency. As soon as I returned to my office, I tore into the steak sandwich and the bread tasted like they popped the sandwich into a microwave. That's my last time going to this location. read more

Been to this location about 3-4 times bc I was in the neighborhood and every freakin time the pizza is off. I've eaten at MM all over the US and the food is very consistent except for this location. They put their own spin on it and it sucks TBH. Calzones are bland and pizza sauce is flavorless & the absolute worst. So awful we wont go back here. Waste of money and calories on my cheat day. read more

I went into Mellow Mushroom on 6/10 and was greeted promptly with a friendly smile. Staff was excellent and I highly recommend this location. I will defiantly return. I walked out with a smile as you really don't see this type of service anymore. read more

This is the worst Mellow Mushroom in my area, so much so I am willing to drive an extra 15-20 minutes to go to the further away location. Half the time they close the store outside of their posted hours. They always mess up my to go orders. Which is amazing because I ordered a plan cheese pizza and they somehow manage it o mess it up. They close half the restaurant or patio because they "don't want to clean it again". I am truly amazed this location manages to stay open and I am always disappointed in myself whenever I think they might have changed and I should give them another try. I will not make that mistake again read more

Food is still excellent. The crew does a great job. Went during a busy time for dinner and it was great!

To management: The newer servers hired this month for lunch service should not be working here. We were ignored for over 20 minutes in a restaurant that was not busy -- no greeting, no drinks, no service of any kind. After multiple attempts to get someone's attention, it became clear we were being deliberately ignored. Several other tables also waited excessively long for basic service. This was not a one-off mistake; it felt intentional and completely unacceptable. Whatever the underlying issue is, this kind of behavior will ruin your business. In the past, we've been satisfied with the service, even during busy times. read more

don't ever come here if you're any kind of Rush because you have a bunch of people working here but nobody's working if you know what I mean we came in here ordered Subs cuz we thought that was going to be quicker took him forever just to bring the Greek salads so I'm never coming back here read more

We were a party of 6 coming in at 8:15 before a comedy show a few doors down, the way were greeted was disappointing. They didn't say welcome in but instead said " um you are cutting it close the kitchen is closing in 30 min" with a snarky tone. I get it was 30 min before close but why would want the one last sale. On top of that when we were being sat I apologized for the inconvenience and the reply I received was "no comment " That just set the tone for the dinner. read more

I have only ordered and eaten the Holy Shiitake pizza w/garlic & truffle drizzle ... dozens of times! So my very first time at this location. Wasn't very busy at all. Ordered "the works" pizza. Not bad but compared to other Mellow Mushroom's. It just didn't seem to taste the same. Dining in the restaurant you expected to be fresh right out of the oven but honestly it's felt like it sat under a heat lamp or something. Took about 23 minutes for the pizza, medium pizza to reach the table. Although the server was very nice, definitely lack of service no sense of urgency. I sat down and ordered my soda, The young lady went behind the bar and started working and cleaning, I waited about 12 minutes for my drink and I actually had to get up and ask her for my drink. And she said 'oh I'll be there in a minute 'pretty casually. read more

FIRST, when you get there, ask to sit in Victoria's section. Next, order whatever floats your boat because the kitchen SLAYS! Next, pick your favorite draft beer, wine, or cocktail because their selection is wonderful. Now, order your second drink and look forward to an amazing pie! We enjoyed a beer while we waited for our Buffalo chicken pizza. It was DELICIOUS! We don't usually order whole wheat dough, but this was amazing. The texture and flavor were perfect. It was raining and ugly the night we were there so there were only a couple open tables, but despite a nearly full restaurant, the service remained excellent. It was quiet enough for us to chat whi,e we waited and ate, but also enjoyed watching the UGA gymnastics team win their match on tv while we ate. Don't overlook this place. They do it RIGHT. read more

Mellow Mushroom - Buffalo chicken pizza with bleu cheese sauce! AMAZING! - Pizza Near Me - Alpharetta, Georgia

SAturday night was the worst experience I've ever had with a pizza delivery. I clearly ordered online as left side black olives and mushrooms and all over the pizza both sides Italian sausage. Got a completely wrong pizza. Called the store and they said they would comp my pizza and to just order the pizza over again. I did the same thing with black olives and mushrooms on the left and Italian sausage all over. New pizza came and it was still wrong with only black olives on the left, the rest cheese. This is ridiculous and I had to pay for Door Dash twice. The store would only comp the pizza amounts. Do not use these people. read more

The food was good but the service was terrible. One waitress had the whole dining room while the manager just stood around gossiping to the other waitresses. I felt sorry for our server, but it was still very frustrating having to wait so long and to get no drink refills. read more

Food and service is good. However, whoever has access to to the bar is watering everything down. They're gonna lose a lot of bar revenue if they don't get on top of it. This is the second time it's happened. Today it was Dewars about 10 months ago it was the Jameson. Whiskeys looks almost clear when looking at it through the glass. read more

They have a bar but don't have experienced bartenders. I ordered a drink that the young lady didn't know how to make. So I tried to go with a shot but they don't carry cognac. So lastly I ordered a beer and I was told I couldn't have it because they "didn't have the button in the system to ring it in". I almost canceled my 2 pizzas because that is probably the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard. But we won't be back none the less. While I appreciate both young ladies being honest about their lack of bartending skills, it's unfortunate that they didn't have one person in the building who could figure it out. I'm not sure if they bothered to ask a manager or supervisor. Hopefully my pizza is good, otherwise I'm walking out. And yes I've had plenty of time to sit and write this review while THIRSTY because I haven't been offered water either. #FAIL read more

Awesome staff. Loved our bartender. We went for a casual beer and ended up chilling at the mushroom. Service was great food was great. Beer came to order. Its a small bar probably fits 6~7 people comfortably but it was a fun night for me. Our bartender even gave us samples of what was on draft for us to try. That was service. There pretzel bites were the bomb. Great match with beer. Good environment with good people! Will definitely come back soon read more

They will get a 2/5 from me. We ordered a house special pizza tonight and it was the worst pizza we have had in a long time. Until now we have never been disappointed by Mellow Mushroom. We have been eating there for ten years at this location. The manager just apologized and that was all. We were not looking for anything free but the manager did not anything to make the situation better. If this is going to be their standard, frozen pizzas are not bad and 1/3 the price. read more

Been to the one in Alpharetta, plenty of parking in this complex. I visited on a tuesday for a pickup and it was super crowded!! They ended up taking longer (45mins) for the order than what they initially said (25mins). They have game/live music going on tuesday nights! The pizza was good, no complaints! Wish the prices were little cheaper. You pay for each topping, the more toppings makes it more expensive. Overall good pizza place if you dont want the fast food chains! read more

I eat here sporadically when I'm at my employers office in Alpharetta. On this visit my boss treated us to lunch. Parking is easy. The interior dining area and patio are consistently clean and well decorated. Service is consistently friendly. They have good vegetarian and vegan food options plus food that has meat for my carnivore coworkers. I ordered the tempeh teriyaki sandwich with chips and a drink. The rest of the group dined on assorted pizzas. Portion sizes and prices are reasonable and the food is consistently delicious. Bathrooms are consistently clean and tidy. I recommend this location!! read more

Just had a good meal here. Good pizza, good wings, and a good salad. Ethan, our server was very attentive. Nice relaxed meal.

Free wifi, hipster rock music, delicious food. Yes, I'm definitely a fan of Mellow Mushroom Pizza. Especially since they offer gluten free pizza crust and take care to avoid cross-contamination. I normally order the Kosmic Karma, but decided to opt for the House Special, which basically piles on all the various GF veggie and meat toppings, then adds in some extra cheese to boot. Love it! I prefer table service at Mellow Mushroom, but the more efficient - and less costly - counter ordering system works just fine at this location. Soda, water, and tea refills are do-it-yourself, but leave a nice tip when you pay and the staff may just bring your plates and utensils directly to your table. Bottom line: these kids know how to make great pizza, salads, and hoagies, so order up your favorite items, then sit back and enjoy the feast. read more

We love mellow mushroom pizza, especially the crust, and frequent the restaurant around the Atlanta area; however, this particular MM was not as consistent. We were very disappointed in the quality of the food. Ordered carry out for two large pizzas and a Greek salad. The pizza had too much oil sitting on top of the pepperoni and the pizza, itself- the box was saturated with oil. The pizza was stone cold and we only drove 3 miles from the restaurant. The salad was sub-par with huge chunks of the lettuce you typically throw away. It was clear the salad was the gross ice berg from a bag, not fresh romaine lettuce- the way it should have been! We ordered online and arrived 15 minutes early, the restaurant did have the pizza ready which we appreciated and the chopped ingredients on the salad were good but again, the lettuce (which is primarily what a salad is composed of, was inedible). This type of shortcut with the pizza and salad is unacceptable and deters me from returning. This area has tons of other pizza restaurants with higher quality product. read more

Disappointed with this mellow mushroom. My bf went to pick up our order today at this location. We ordered a large pepperoni pizza, two chocolate chip cookies and a gallon of lemonade. The pizza was fine, but it was so oily! The oil was just pooling in the pepperoni slices and we had to use a paper towel to get the excess out. The cookies were both STALE. They only had one chocolate chip left so they gave us a sugar cookie to replace the other one. Both were literally hard as a brick. We couldn't even take a bite of it - it was that hard. Both went straight in the trash. read more

Go see Susie! She is the best! Hands down best service around, always friendly and welcomes you with a smile.

Buyer beware! We ordered our dinner from Mellow Mushroom yesterday. People were nice, and we left a good tip. Got home and my daughter's hoagie tasted spoiled... it was an avocado hoagie. We ordered a whole hoagie with tater tots as a side. When we arrived home it was a half, spoiled hoagie. Kindly, they offered to replace it and so today we went to pick up a new dinner for her. The hoagie was fresh and tasty and Hannah was so friendly and helpful. However the manager happened to come to the register and started berating me for coming to early to pick up the order and we should have given them more time to get it ready,,, ya da ya da.... It was so inappropriate... nothing about the half, spoiled hoagie. Good bye, Mellow... too many pizza places in Alpharetta for this! read more

I will never come back here , the pizza guys are disgusting. They eat while making pizza using the same gloves to cook ... Went in and saw a sign on the door that said " Closed, Pick up welcome" so we decided to go in and ask if we can place an order togo at the counter and the man started explaining to us very rudely that he's turned all the ovens off and to read the sign. The sign was very misleading given we assumed we were able to get a pizza for carry out. Them not being able to seat us was not an issue, it was the nasty attitude he had as if we were supposed to know upon entering that they turned the ovens off. The man had an accent and was middle aged. read more

I have been coming to this MM almost weekly for years. The pizza is great and the staff is friendly. The salad is always fresh. It tends to be crowded at lunch, especially with large groups from local offices, so you might want to time your visit so you don't arrive between 12-12:30. Or call ahead if you have a bunch of people. Outdoor seating is covered and generous. It's on the parking lot but not by the road so it's not noisy. read more
