Iced Dulce de leche latte

Small shop with limited seating but really friendly baristas and I enjoyed my coffee as well!

Bright inside menu on the wall. No prices. But don't worry, it's a great value!

This is an cute hole in the wall with amazing coffee and pastries! It's south, just past the Chez Paree. (I think they may be known for pasties, not pastries.) Melk is next to a parking lot entrance. The emplane very friendly and enjoy what they do. This is not Starbucks with one gallon size cups and 100 sugar Syrups. But they have great lattes, and Banian's mocha lattes which are packed with caffeine and not overly sweet. Just how I like them. I'm not a muffin man, but when on Montréal breakfast is "continental". I asked if they had anything with apple in it. The server suggested apple carrot muffin. OMG! It was perfect. It was more of an apple muffin with a few chunks of carrot, which is perfect for me. See the photo below. It has huge soft pieces of ! The muffin was extremely moist. Amazing. It gets a line quickly in the morning before 9:00, but passes fast.

Cozy little cafe with friendly staff, selection of pastries and good coffee. I had a iced latte and really liked it.

Good cafe to go to in a non busy area of downtown montreal. A good variety of baked goods, comfortable seating and drink choices including matcha drinks and espresso based drinks Lost 1 pt for not having wifi which is highly unusual for a cafe where people are seemingly doing work, not sure how they are doing anything?

Found this place conveniently located at the corner of the parking garage where we left our car during our stay in Montreal. Seemed very busy on a Monday morning but managed to get a table after the morning rush left. Had a London fog (not pictured) and couple of scones. The scones are nice and crispy and not very sweet. Servers were quick and friendly. Interestingly, when we went to get our car from the garage, I think the kitchen/bakery is actually upstairs in the corner of the garage!

Picked up an Americano and latte to go since it was a bit cramped and busy inside. The interior is bright and service is friendly. We both enjoyed our drinks but they made my latte iced instead of hot which I didn't bother correcting since there was a long line behind me.

Storefront from across the street. Note the cute white hanging Melk carton. :)

Cute and quaint little coffee spot. We were in the area and wanted to find an indie coffee place and this popped up on our radar. It's in a pretty unassuming location but as you step inside, it immediately feels warm and cozy and inviting. The place is tiny - there's inside seating, not much though so grab one if you see a free one - a bar height counter up front with 2 stools in the front window facing the street, a few small tables and chairs and a couple of banquettes. Immediately noticed lots of repeat customers coming in (the sign this place is legit) - a steady stream of them but the lines consistently get cleared out without a long wait (#praise). We were there mid afternoon on a weekday. Awesome, friendly and quick service. One of us had a hot Maple Latte - a little bit too sweet for my companion's liking. My other companion and I both had an iced Dolce de Leche Latte - delicious, not too sweet, just the right amount of ice and silky smooth. We hung out for a bit inside to sip and enjoy the ambience. It was a nice little respite but we also would have enjoyed taking the drinks to go had we not scored a coveted seat. Recommend!

Someone needs to offer milk or dark hot chocolate options in Toronto! I went to get a hot chocolate and was surprised to hear that you can choose between the two. There is also an option to add a marshmallow and ofc I said yes! I felt like a kid in a candy store. The drink was perfectly smooth with a hint of bitterness for the dark chocolate. The best part was the huge marshmallow, which was pillowy soft!

Coconut chia pudding

Tiny cute little coffee shop right near our hotel. Staff is patient and friendly. Coffee rich and strong. The chia pudding with tart currants and granola was excellent. We also tried the cheese, onion, and cumin (?) scones and strawberry lemon scones, which were both delicious.

The chai tea latte was wonderfully full of spice and the hot chocolate was delicious, especially with the home made marshmallows!

The coffee is great and so is the food. The approach of not having a wifi and being closed on weekends, no so much...

Café Olimpico - Caffe crema & caffe freddo

Café Olimpico

Café Olimpico truly lives up to its reputation and then some. From the moment you walk in, the…read moreatmosphere feels warm, authentic, and full of character -- the kind of place where you know you're about to experience something special. We ordered a hot chocolate, cappuccino, tiramisu, and an affogato, and every single item exceeded expectations. The hot chocolate was rich, smooth, and indulgent without being overly sweet -- pure comfort in a cup. The cappuccino was perfectly brewed with bold espresso flavor and beautifully textured milk, exactly how a great Italian-style coffee should be. The highlight of our visit, without question, was the affogato. It was hands down the best I've ever had. The pistachio gelato was unbelievably creamy, nutty, and flavorful, and when paired with the hot espresso, it created an unforgettable balance of temperature and taste. It was truly out of this world and worth the visit on its own. To finish, the tiramisu was light, perfectly layered, and not overpowering -- a flawless end to an already incredible experience. Everything tasted fresh, thoughtfully prepared, and authentic. Café Olimpico isn't just a café -- it's an experience. Exceptional quality, consistency, and passion in every cup and dessert. Highly recommended, and absolutely a place we'll keep coming back to.

A montreal classic. Tiny shop, only meant for take out coffees. Almost always a line but it goes by…read morequick. I like their remix a lot (a layered mix of cold espresso, caffe crema soft-serve, with hot frothed milk & chocolate). I recommend it to anyone who likes a nice sweet but not too sweet coffee treat in the summer. The affogato also isn't bad, just a bit too much ice cream for me. Their mocha is one of the best.
