It was only one other customer in the bakery at the time. When deciding which cupcakes to choose from there was no clear offering from the staff to assist with making a better selection. The selection was fairly limited so I just ordered 4 cupcakes (strawberry & sweet potato) to eat at home. The cupcakes were moist and delicious. I will definitely like to continue to support this business however, the lack of customer service was a little off putting.

1 Star -- I would give zero stars if I could…read more I am extremely disappointed with my experience at the Crumbl Cookies in Owings Mills. What started as a complaint about a poorly prepared birthday cookie has now turned into an even more frustrating customer-service experience. I emailed the owner, Alex Miller, yesterday regarding my concerns and have yet to receive a response. Today, I called the store and was placed on hold for approximately 20 minutes. I eventually hung up and called back. I spoke with Ayana, who identified herself as the store manager, and was initially told she was on the phone with the owner. About 10 minutes later, I was then told that he was in a meeting and that she did not have a resolution for me. I was told that the owner would either call me or respond to my email today. The lack of communication and the conflicting information I received have made this experience incredibly frustrating and, in my opinion, very unprofessional. My original complaint was also about the condition and presentation of my order. I ordered a Biscoff Strawberry cookie as part of a birthday celebration, along with an "I Love You" tag and bow. The cookie looked nothing like the presentation advertised online. The icing was poorly done, and the outside of the box was sticky and had icing/fingerprints on it. When customers pick up a food order, the packaging should be clean and presentable--especially when it is intended as a gift. When I initially returned to the store and asked for the cookie to be remade or even placed in a clean box, I was told they could not do so and that the icing looked that way because the cookie was hot and had melted. At this point, the issue is no longer just about one cookie. It is about cleanliness, presentation, customer service, communication, and how a legitimate customer concern has been handled. I have given this location multiple opportunities to address the situation, and I still do not have a resolution. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend the Owings Mills location and would suggest choosing another Crumbl location.

Their pricing was pretty reasonable and the vanilla cake we ordered tasted amazing. It was perfectly balanced in moisture and density. Even the fondant icing was better than any fondant I've ever tasted and the buttercream filling was just superb. While the cake ordering process was seamless, the cake was not ready at the time we were told to pick it up. We were waiting close to an hour for it to be given to us and when it was ready, it seemed rushed in some areas of decoration. The decorative bow we requested had fallen off. The number toppers were not glittered as we requested. Some of the stripes were broken and the cake seemed to be melting in some areas as though there hadn't been enough time between the cake cooling and being decorated. Our cake was delicious, but it was aesthetically unsatisfactory and we felt a little ripped off. Having seen so much of their other work on IG & FB, it appears this was not a demonstration of Little Cupcakery's best work. I would give 3 stars for how delicious the cake was.
