Excel Plumbing might look like just another showroom filled with beautiful fixtures, toilets, and…read moreplumbing supplies--but it's so much more than that, especially when you have the pleasure of working with Stacy! I came to the showroom with my designer while working on a very long and, at times, overwhelming remodel. From the very beginning, Stacy was incredibly helpful. She was always available to answer questions, clarify details, and offer thoughtful suggestions when I wasn't quite sure what I wanted. She knows her products inside and out, and her expertise made a daunting process feel so much more manageable. I had to select fixtures for THREE full bathrooms and a kitchen, which felt like an enormous undertaking. Stacy quickly put together a detailed, easy-to-understand invoice that was incredibly organized and made it much easier to keep track of everything. Throughout the entire process, she was responsive to every question, change, and adjustment I had. She kept me informed about delivery dates and made sure I always knew where things stood. But what impressed me most was what happened when everything arrived. Stacy meticulously checked the entire order to make sure nothing was missing, and she labeled everything by room. This was such a thoughtful extra step and made things SO much easier for my contractors during installation. Those little details made a huge difference! A remodel can involve so many vendors, moving parts, delays, and unexpected issues, so having someone who is organized, knowledgeable, responsive, and dependable is invaluable. Stacy was truly one of the easiest and most reliable vendors I worked with throughout my entire remodel. I feel very fortunate to have found Excel Plumbing among so many other options, and even more fortunate to have had Stacy helping me along the way. Her professionalism, attention to detail, product knowledge, and genuine willingness to help made my remodel journey significantly easier. If you're doing a remodel or simply looking for plumbing fixtures, I HIGHLY recommend Excel Plumbing--and especially Stacy! She is absolutely fantastic and someone you'll be very happy to have in your corner.

That is, kind, understanding, approachable, and genuinely attentive. He took the time to listen to what I was looking for and made sure he understood my needs. From start to finish, the entire experience was seamless, easygoing, and enjoyable. His amazing people skills and willingness to help made what could have been a stressful process feel simple and memorable. I highly recommend Wise (10 out of 10), and East Star, through and through! He absolutely deserves and more. If you're looking for someone knowledgeable, professional, and genuinely great to work with, ask for Wise!

My contractor recommended them but I left pretty unimpressed and went elsewhere. The cabinet price…read morethey quoted me ended up being at least a couple thousand more than the place I ended up choosing and they were not as nice either (the East Star ones were particle board while the other ones were wood, the other ones were soft close which these were not, my actual layout ended up having almost entirely drawers on the base cabinets which wasn't included in the East Star price and so it would have been even higher than the quote they gave me, and so on). I was also looking for countertops and their options left a lot to be desired. They were maybe slightly cheaper than the other place ($40 difference for a standard countertop size of 110" by 26") but way less options and didn't look as nice. Mostly they were just not that helpful and I also didn't love their selections. I left searching for other options pretty quickly. I think one reason to maybe come here is the prices but in my experience even those were higher and the quality and selection were worse. In addition, ideally you want someone who can actually help you figure out a layout and make you feel like you want to shop there and I didn't get that sense. Maybe I just had a bad experience but even though I came in having some idea of what I wanted, I definitely did not get the vibe that this was where I would find it.

The installation process was smooth, but the timing is a little unconventional. I'm pretty sure that Evan only does the installs after 5pm...as long as you are OK with that, it's great. He came twice: once to measure and once to install (with another guy). It took about 45 minutes the second time. That was about two weeks ago, and we have had no leaks or problems. I see some of the negative reviews here, and will admit that if you want someone to hold your hand and charm you, New Art may not be the place for you. If you want quality fixtures at a good price, and are OK with a competent, efficient, but not effusive salesperson, go with New Art. I am happy that we did.

Amazingly, our major project was completed exactly on time and essentially on budget, even though we ran into some unexpected challenges with the design (not done by Mission) that could have derailed it. The issues that came up were handled quickly and thoughtfully, and several of their suggestions genuinely improved the final design. One thing that really stood out was the team's honesty--any mistakes (inevitable/expected on a project of this size) were acknowledged immediately and addressed without hesitation, which is something other contractors sometimes struggle with. It's definitely important to stay involved, but we felt comfortable being away for long periods and trusted Dan to keep things moving smoothly. There were times when dust/debris reached areas outside the active work zone, but the crew made sure everything was thoroughly cleaned by the end. All in all, we would enthusiastically recommend Mission to anyone considering a major renovation or addition. Thank you Dan and the rest of the team!

Only downsides were they weren't able to do a miter edge on the counter (or maybe they could but didn't offer it and that's what I would have preferred) and they almost installed a sink that was too small. They emailed me last minute to say they'd do a smaller sink than I had specified and I didn't see the email until it was too late. They were about to do the small sink but fortunately I was onsite and caught the issue in time. They made it work with a proper size sink. Even with these glitches I still was satisfied and would absolutely work with them again. The price was similar to what I'd paid several years ago for a similar sized job so I would consider their overall offering to be very competitively priced.

I live on east coast and was just scouting but even when she knew she was not going to get a commission because I was shipping tub well out of area - Valarie spent probably 45 minutes with me - coaching me on what bath tubs are best suited for me - Regardless of price! The showroom is well laid out, two floors, attractive, not confusing, with a range of prices from, say, Delta, Moen and Kohler to higher end brands. It's important to see and touch as many of these products as you can. We worked with Keoki Garner. He was well informed, timely, easily available, and collaborative. He stayed cheerful when I overrode him and then changed things last minute (due to my own mistakes.) I loved that I could do research on Build.com and then bring it to Keoki. He never upsold or resisted when I went, say, for Kohler over Grohe. Everything so far has been delivered impeccably and undamaged. Build.com offers an enormous range of products, and I like that too. You can return within a reasonable amount of time. We haven't started construction yet but almost everything is sourced and in the garage. We have a clear billing record so much came from Build.com. The part was an obsolete one, for which I'd purchased a comparable replacement online. However, I hadn't realized that the part didn't come with bushings. When I tried to get the bushings out of the old cylinders, they were stuck. After a tremendous amount of time trying to dislodge them myself, I thought I'd need to find replacement bushings. I'd already struck out at a different hardware store prior to going to Discount Builders. Similarly, Discount Builders also didn't have what was essentially a specialized bushing designed just for the old obsolete cylinder. Most employees would've just stopped at nope we don't have it. However, Max was incredibly resourceful and skilled, and took the cylinders to a work area in the store and spent perhaps the next half hour getting the bushings out. Miraculous! My rowing machine is now reassembled and working great. Thanks to Max! That is truly above and beyond customer service! Love this store!
