Adriana went above and beyond to help me--she was so kind, knowledgeable, and made the whole experience feel effortless. She let me know that they offer complimentary cleanings, which I didn't even realize, and also shared information about their piercing services. While I was there, I found so many beautiful pieces to add to my birthday wish list! Adriana and the entire team truly provide exceptional customer service and clearly know their jewelry. I just stopped by because I wanted to actually try their jewelry on after seeing it all the time on instagram! The staff were very friendly in explaining how things worked. You're allowed to try on the jewelry at your leisure. Specifically for the earrings, you can try them on, and place them back on the black plates so they can sanitize them for the next customer to try on. That's pretty nice! They have some nice jewelry, but they don't post the prices in the shop. You'd either have to ask or look it up on your own online. read more

Mejuri is my favorite jewelry store in the west loop. They have amazing designs that aren't too over the top. I especially love their ring collection. I love their wishbone stacker, puffy charlotte and moon and star open ring. Their customer service is amazing too. In spite of the store being crowded, the sales girl was attentive and helped me choose the right size for my ring. I broke my ring once and she offered to replace it for free since it was under warranty. I am starting to love their earring designs too. Most of their jewelry is daily wear and has minimalistic but impactful designs that are very on trend. Their jewelry is reasonably priced too and won't burn a big hole in your pocket. read more

After a very trying month, last Saturday I was all set to gift myself the gold and onyx signet ring to complement my gold and topaz heirloom ring (which I was wearing at the time). So happy to see that Mejuri has opened up a brick and mortar location in the West Loop! I had heard of the brand when it was an online only, direct to consumer shop. Their jewelry is simple, modern, and pricing is transparent. The store itself and jewelry displays were minimal but it's always great to see a product in person before buying. We were greeted by the two girls working. I had already vetted out the piece I wanted to see and they had both size bracelets for me to try on. They boxed the piece up nicely, included a duster bag, and reminded me that it is a 30 day return/exchange policy as well as a 2 year warranty on what I bought. I personally had a great experience at the store but very much knew what I was looking for before going. Had no idea Mejuri had a brick and mortar location, so I was so excited to stop in when I saw it. My boyfriend and I were visiting from out of town & the shop was very cute and open. I needed up getting a gold ring which was SO cute. Ashley helped us and she was super personable and helpful. I first bought a ring from this Mejuri location when it first opened which I absolutely love and has held up beautifully. For my birthday 2 years ago, I bought some earrings in person which literally broke as I put them in the next day. The associates did eventually refund me after I explained to them how upsetting this was. Recently, I went back and decided to get a piercing at this location. I did see the sterilization equipment but I worry in retrospect how clean it was considering its connection to the main retail floor. The piercing ended up getting very infected even though I followed cleaning procedures and slept with an ear hole pillow. It cost me a trip to urgent care to get it out and I had to get on antibiotics. I have had These 2 experiences have unfortunately made me lose trust in the brand and I wouldn't recommend taking the chance. The service has been on point though. Every time except perhaps the refund situation the associates have been warm and welcoming. The jewelry and perhaps the piercing set up is not up to par with the service. read more

I came to Mejuri several weeks ago and was very disappointed by my experience shopping here. I had wanted to try on some rings before purchasing. The girl who helped me, Valerie, was quite rude. When I asked her to help me use the plastic ring-sizer, she quickly pulled on the tap which tightened around my finger and stated blankly "you're a size 4" to which I responded "well I usually don't wear my rings this tightly" [I'm usually between a 5.5 and 6]. When I struggled to get it off as it was hurting my skin and again asked her for help, she said "these are designed so that you can use it by yourself" before finally loosening it up for me. I was super excited to go to Mejuri in person. There's something about seeing things on hand from shopping online. I wanted to buy a birthday gift for my friend so I wanted to go in store and get a gift receipt. I went on a Saturday afternoon and it was quite busy. There were plenty of workers but none looked like they were willing to help. They stood in a corner chatting away or they were busy on their phone. The set up of the store was quite pretty. Rings on one side, necklaces on the other, and rings in the middle. I flagged down an employee who looked like she was willing to help. She was informative and I ended up making some purchase. Bought a necklace as a gift and they shipped me a used necklace. It came tangled in the black bag, with no tag, not attached to the carboard inside the box as it should be. The diamonds were filthy and had zero shine. Even if it wasn't used, for the price, the jewelry is very average at best. I would highly recommend not shopping with this place. Edit: To add to this. I reached out and told them I was sent a used necklace and they said I can return it, I was still barely into the 30 days anyway, and I already did. I got my doubles pierced here and while I love the jewelry I don't think I'll be getting any more piercings at mejuri. I thought everything was normal at first (the piercing itself hurt a lot for many days but I brushed it off) A month later I had booked another piercing appt at Rowan down the street and the piercer there was hesitant to add another to my stack given the condition of my current piercings. She said that the posts put in were way too short and impacted the healing process additionally one of the flat backs wasn't even pushed in all the way causing more irritation. After getting my Mejuri piercings fixed at Rowan both are doing much better with no more irritation. read more

They helped me figure out what size I needed and helped me weigh my options. Didn't at all feel like they were trying to sell me the most expensive option partly because they didn't but also because one of them flat out said she wanted me to get what I truly wanted rather than a pricier item. I love Mejuri! I've been a longtime customer and purchased items online before they opened a store in Chicago. I've shopped at their Chicago location several times. It's been wonderful seeing the jewelry in person and trying them on. Each staff member has been so welcoming and helpful. Today, I stopped in and was helped by Valerie. She helped me find a bracelet that fits my wrist and lifestyle. She mentioned that many of the employees are art and design students. I think that's a wonderful hiring decision. All the staff I've met are wonderful and have an eye for design and style. It would be great if the employees at this location could help Mejuri with marketing and social media opportunities!
