She told me that she works fast, but I do believe working fast did not afford me any real consultation on the tattoo inspiration photos. My tattoos did not turn out well, especially once they fully healed. I ended up going to another tattoo shop to fix the tattoo closer to the inspiration photo, and my 2nd tattoo, I am just going to end up getting a full coverup. This place is great and they take care of you! We explained what we wanted and brought the image to life! Also colored it as well! The place is great , you pay for parking but free across the street .. not bad this 3 hours $7, so take a pic of your tattoo the scan it and outline it ! Also make an appointment.. they do have a tattoo minimum this year 2023 it's $100 idk about next year or the rest. Our tat was small but meant something, 8 years in the making we wanted it to be a part of us. I originally went in for a touch up, which I received from Danise. She was great, so I asked her about doing a coverup. Danise explained that coverups weren't her specialty, and because I wanted a comic character, she introduced me to David. David is/was awesome! We had a consultation, he reviewed and tweaked the artwork to match my skin tone. I really appreciated David's explanation of the color blending process. It's hard to oversell how good an experience this was. I emailed the shop, heard back maybe an hour or so later and was able to get an appointment within 24 hours. I worked with Danise who is an amazing human and a beautiful soul. She was an incredibly calming presence and talked me through every step of the process, which was immensely appreciated as this was my first tattoo. This is a top-notch business on every level. Ben responded to my initial email questions within an hour, giving me an understanding of costs and letting me know who would be the best artist for what I wanted (the Hebrew lettering "chai" or "life!" on my inner right wrist). He set me up with Claudio, who has expertise in fine lines. After I made my appointment, communication from the studio via email and text was quick. They asked me to send some pictures of what I wanted and when I got there, Claudio was ready to go. He had stencils printed out, gave me suggestions as to size, and made sure it would be everything I wanted. He was warm, friendly, and given this was my first tattoo, patient with all my questions. He made sure I understood what was happening every step of the way. On the aftercare slip, Claudio wrote down exactly what skin care product to get--not just the name, but also what color the labeling and cap were so I'd be sure to get the right thing. He also said anytime I needed a touchup, just call and let him know--and no charge when I do get it done, it's all part of the cost for getting the tattoo. While I was undergoing the process Ben came around to see how things were going. Clearly it's a business that cares about its clients and their satisfaction. Costs are reasonable, facilities are first-rate, ambience is great, and tattooist artists know what they're doing on every level. I had a quote on my inner forearm that I loved, but over time, it became so distorted that it was difficult to read. I don't particularly like discussing my tattoos anyway, so to have everybody asking me what it said was annoying. I reached out to one tattoo artist who had done some other work on me to see if he could cover it up and he said something to the effect of, "I'll have to put a black bar over it and then do a full half sleeve to incorporate that. Oh, and it'll take 2-3 days and I only book by the full day." Well, while I love his other work, I didn't want a big black bar and I didn't want a half sleeve. A few months ago, a friend who was very happy with her coverup recommended Ben. I went to see him back in April for a consult and told him I'd like to incorporate some flowers. He said that wouldn't be a problem: no black bar. No half sleeve. He's a super busy guy, so I had to wait until July 1 for my appointment, but TRUST ME, it was absolutely worth the wait! Ben emailed me a few days before the appointment to confirm we were still on. Then he sent me sketches. The actual tattoo took about 2 hours. And he even freshened up the small birds on my wrist so it all meshed well. Ben is an absolute master at coverups. He's not only extremely talented, but he's thoughtful, patient and seemingly has no ego. He just wants you to be happy. And I am. I'm frankly ecstatic. I called and was able to get an appointment the next day with Lance. For all of the artists here, you actually send your ideas and whatnot in advance so they can have artwork already prepped for your feedback, edits, and approval. There's also tons of pre-made artwork for you to choose from. And walk-ins can be accommodated. But really, utilize the artists and create something unique. The costs are a little...non-standard. It's not just simply by the hour. It's also up to the whim of the particular artist. (I'll admit, this was pricier than I'm used to. In Vegas, my time here would've been no more than $100. Here, it was $170.) And when you book and appointment, you have to give a $50 deposit, which is later deducted from the cost of the tattoo. The place is large-ish with numerous artists and stations. And everyone is rather professional. Don't bother bringing a pal. No one except those getting tattooed are allowed in the actual tattoo area. My experience couldn't have been any more positive. I moved to a new state, and had a craving for the needle... I looked up new tattoo shops on Yelp. Found Deluxe, called them the next morning, they told me to come in and give them some ideas of what i was looking for. Troy helped me out and together we found a design that blended in with my current tattoo set. He had clean linework, there was decent music playing, and i was happy with my finished product. Here is where it gets really good... i ended up moving shortly after i got the tattoo again, to another state. This past weekend, almost a full year and a half after my tattoo was done; i sent Deluxe a message asking for a touch up. I called for a same day appointment and Troy was able to see me that night. After years of wanting a tattoo I finally got one and chose Deluxe tattoo because of their incredible reviews. I was terrified to go in for my first tattoo as I have heard so many horror stories and seen some hideous tattoos on other people. I messaged them about an appointment and they got back to me the following day! I was able to get in that day. I showed Donna, the tattoo artist a couple of designs I liked when I showed up and 20-25 minutes later I was already out the door! I had a consultation with Kola after giving her some reference images, went back two weeks later and she had put together an amazing tattoo that she clearly put a lot of care and attention to. Lastnight Was my first visit at Deluxe. I was greeted by Aaron Stockwell, who was the artist I was booked with for the appointment. The wait time to book a tattoo was about 3 weeks, which is leaps and bounds what I would of waited for at most tattoo salons. Aaron was easy to talk to and was a great conversationalist as we conversed about multiple topics. He made me feel very comfortable, brought me water when I needed to hydrate, etc. He worked very quickly, but extremely careful to details on my custom tattoo. He didn't have a heavy hand, which really helped me deal with any discomfort I was having. I had almost zero pain and watched him work diligently throughout the course of the 8 hr visit. Aaron only took a couple very short breaks to hydrate and use the restroom. He really tried hard not to waste time; however, didn't work so fast, hard that it would of compromised the integrity of my tattoo. Aaron far exceed my expectations of work flow, talent, skill set, and professionalism. He should be recognized for his diligent work by Deluxe. His work is Amazing! I'll never go to another tattoo shop and will follow Aaron wherever he goes to work. He's an outstanding artist and a wonderful human being. I went here to get matching tattoos with my friend and overall the staff, sanitation and experience was fine. I got my tattoo first, showed my friend and then it was bandaged. Then she got hers and it was also bandaged. The next morning when we took the bandages off the tattoos were clearly different. It's not just that they needed time to heal so they looked wrong but the line work is completely different. For a tattoos that took the artist only 3 minutes each I WISH he spent more time to make them match. The line work towards the top of my tattoo also looks sloppy where it overlaps and I'm embarrassed to show it off. I'm reluctant to give a one star review to anyone but because this is on my body forever I cannot forgive it being sloppy. read more

Tattoo is permanent so better get it done at the right place and my right place is "Deluxe"!!! I am not going to any other place even if they offer to do it for free. This is a 5 Plus Star rated place and of course the work they do. I got my third tattoo here. I called them and booked an appointment ahead (You would have to put down a $50 deposit and that would come off of your tattoo price). I got my appointment scheduled with Troy Taylor. I had a rough idea of the tattoo I want to get inked but I couldn't find a find that I am satisfied with. I asked Troy if he could make the changes about the font and it being a different language he wasn't comfortable doing so as it might change the meaning of it, which made perfect sense. I had to postpone the appointment to get the design done by someone who speaks my language and they are beefy flexible about it, they happily re-scheduled the appointment. I got the design and asked Troy to do some edits. The staff is very friendly and professional, place is really clean and artistic. You get reminders about your appointment and they'd call you the previous day to confirm the spot. Troy showed me the design per the edits I've asked and it was exactly how I asked. Me being a picky one as i don't want to compromise a bit anywhere, I asked him to make another edit and also adjust the font size. He did all the changes, he was very patient, calm and very nice. Although my tattoo was a small one he gave all the attention it needed. I was more than happy with the result. My friend recommended this place and I am super glad I got my tattoo here. Everyone around seemed to be nice too. If I am ever getting another tattoo, Troy would be the guy I go to...No doubt. He is very thorough and detailed in his work.
