    Tattoo done by Calderon

Such a great experience. I decided a few days ago I wanted a tattoo before flying back to Maine and I am so glad I chose Sorry Mama. The woman at the front desk was so helpful and kind. The shop itself is very cool, they have a lot of unique art work on the walls. A huge thank you to Calderon. He is an amazing artist and if you ever want a beautiful tattoo please go see Calderon. He made the experience perfect. Thank you!!!!!!!

Love my new beautiful watercolor tattoo by Leo at Sorry Mama Tattoo! The entire experience was wonderful. The shop is clean and well-kept. The staff are so friendly and welcoming, and they took great care of me, making sure I had everything I needed and was comfortable. Leo was truly amazing to work with - he listened to everything I wanted and turned my idea into reality! My tattoo was about a 4 hour sit, with an additional 1.5 hours dedicated to discussion, design, placement and final review before leaving (so expect to spend some time there while your artist works on making sure you get exactly what you want!) 10/10 would recommend and will be returning for future tatts!

Found this place just doing a Google search and then looked them up on here. I emailed them for a consultation and immediately got a response back from Raquel. She was nice through email and extremely awesome in person! After looking through the artist portfolios I decided to go with Rodrigo. On the day of the constitution, I met Leo. What a guy!! He talked to me like he knew me forever. I was just window shopping at the moment because I had other consultations with other artists. After going to 2 more appointments I decided to give up and go here. The vibes were just so amazing and it felt right! On the day of the tattoo, Rodrigo was just so chill. He was confident that he could do my portrait 100 % and made me feel like I was in good hands. Rodrigo did his thing! Even though I was ready to tap out, Rodrigo kept me calm and cool and perfected my portrait. He made me feel like my portrait was more important to him than it was to me and I absolutely love that about him. I found my new tattoo spot. I don't think I could go anywhere else but to Sorry Mama. You can't go wrong with any artist in that shop. They are all so welcoming, kind, respectful, and just amazing. Just be prepared to spend some time in the shop. They take their time and perfect everything. It is definitely not an In-N-Out process from beginning to end.

Best tattoo I've ever got the artist was Calderone he is awesome and I can't wait to get more by him

Calderone was awesome. The front desk was awesome. Best tattoo I ever got. Quick I made an appointment and I can't wait to get more by him

Had an amazing time here. This was my first tattoo and it couldn't of gone better. The hospitality was great, I felt like I was at home here. Could be more happy with the results, Leo is an ARTIST!

wow! my first tattoo and through flow i ended up at this special place. raquel was so professional through the process of booking, deposit, selection of the project and post project care. leo was so artistic inking me and welcoming me to 'the jungle' and 'the gang'. this is not your grandfathers tattoo parlor, it's high tech and hygienic! thank you so much for this experience!

This place is AMAZING! I had an appointment with Alejandro yesterday for a forearm piece and he absolutely killed it! He was super thorough with his line work and shading and takes so much pride in his work, you can see it in the way he works. His portfolio speaks for itself. The place is really clean and everyone who works there is super nice too. If you're looking for a shop this is the place to go!

It is normal for a healing tattoo to itch?

Definitely yes. December Hartlove did a beautiful tattoo on my right arm. He warned me it would itch and he was right. I used Aquaphor and it worked great to keep me from scratching and damaging the new tattoo. 15/10 would definitely use December…

Hello I got my ears pierced about 5 weeks ago. How do I remove the earrings used to pierce them? Does the ball or flat side unscrew?

    The ball should unscrew

The store is bright, spacious and clean. The girls at the front desk were friendly and helpful. Cody was my piercer and was fantastic. He saw me right away, went over everything and was very kind and professional. He gave me his contact information if I had any follow up questions. So far everything is healing nicely and I can't wait to start wearing my own gorgeous earrings.

Went there two days ago on Wednesday for the first time after living in the neighborhood for 10…read moreyears and finally gave them a try. Was super excited to get my industrial re-pierced but had to walk out because of their problematic and unprofessional employees. Before I even walked in, I could see the piercer laying down on the chairs (first red flag). During the consultation she was actually knowledgeable, nice, and made me feel comfortable even though she talked me out of re piercing my industrial saying it was an "advanced" piercing. I figured maybe too advanced when she's half asleep so for my own safety I went with my gut feeling and agreed with her simpler suggestion which I was still excited to get: a mid helix. However by the time I got to the front desk- whose only job is to gather the information the piercer gave them and proceed with checkout- the interaction somehow became more painful than getting any piercing done. The employee kept acting extremely puzzled (kept saying "I'm confused" to my answers to her OWN questions)... how is that even possible? Then every time I asked a simple question about jewelry design, it was the same response: "I'm confused", in addition to unnecessary attitude. I've worked with people with actual cognitive delays and it was very obvious this wasn't the case. They just wanted to be difficult for no reason because not only was she acting confused and being rude, she was also talking about me to her coworker which also proceeded to give me attitude and be passive aggressive. I saw one of them come back from talking to the piercer and then all of a sudden the piercer changed her mind and said she could go ahead with the industrial piercing -No thank you! That's when I matched their energy and expressed I wasn't comfortable with their behavior before trusting them with my body and doing something invasive, apologized to the piercer and walked out to that same employee saying " I hope you have a beautiful day". I was indeed having a beautiful day until I walked in and had to deal with their ugly attitude and continued to have a beautiful day as soon as I stepped out. Maybe they need to start embracing beauty into their lives instead of being intimidated by positivity and projecting their frustrations on customers- after all, people get piercings for a variety of positive reasons not because they hate themselves. Maybe try matching the customers energy next time. Respect yourself, your energy and your body and go somewhere where actual professionals won't use you like a guinea pig to project their frustrations, sadism, hate and incompetence on. If this is how they really treat people, let alone potential paying customers, they need to be in a therapist's office, not a piercing shop.

DO NOT GET PIERCED HERE. I got my first piercings here (double lobes), and within a month my right…read moreear swelled so severely that the skin completely grew over the piercing. I reached out for advice immediately but before they had gotten back, the skin had already grown over my earrings. As I am a student and can't afford to go to the ER, I had no choice but to rip the earring out of my ear through brute force. It was very traumatic, but I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt as someone did reply to my text two hours after I had ripped the piercing out and the piercer had not been in that day. However, a month later, the exact same thing happened to my right ear. This happened despite me cleaning my piercings twice a day and never changing the jewelry. This time, I removed the backing so that the front part of the earring could hang as far away from my skin as possible. The pain was so bad I couldn't sleep at night. The piercer must have made the earrings too tight which allowed my skin to heal over them instead of in between the front and the backing. I messaged them again asking for help, followed up multiple times, and have now gone over a week without any response. I understand that complications can happen with piercings, but completely ignoring a client who is experiencing a potentially serious issue is unacceptable. Proper aftercare includes being available to advise clients when problems arise. Based on my experience, I would strongly advise to steer clear of this shop. I have attached pictures of my piercings for reference and screenshots of our conversation.
