Super fast and super professional. My first tattoo experienced am so glad I chose them. Their aftercare program was great... a bit different from what i read in the internet, my tattoo healed perfectly! read more

I had 3 small tattoos with Cori / Corinne (not my first tattoos or anything), who was super flexible with me regarding placement, discussing design ideas, etc. I had to reschedule once, and then I added something on last minute, and she was super awesome via email. I love all three tattoos, two of which were exact copies of my drawings and one of which was a generally idea she then designed herself based off of. I even challenged her by asking her to do my forearm tattoo upside down (facing me) which she did and it looks amazing. All three healed super well. I will definitely come back to Cori! read more

Had an amazing experience at Logan square tattoo! Walked in for an apportionment and shortly was on the table! They're super efficient, and my tattoo artist Caroline did an amazing job and I'll def be back again to book with her! She's super gentle and very good at fine line tattoos, she takes her time and makes it her own style and i love that!!! Highly recommend her read more

Coming to Logan Square Tattoo was hands down the best tattoo experience I've ever had. Came in for a walk-in randomly on a Saturday, quickly showed the team my idea. Then Bryson agreed to work with me on my tattoo and told me to come back later that day. When I came back, Bryson had a custom design for me ready and it was perfect! The tattoo experience was nice, and only took about 45 minutes for my line work tattoo. I have to say these lines were so sharp, so fine, not muffled at all. It's the cleanest looking tattoo I've ever gotten. The pricing is fair for the quality that you get. I can't stress enough how shocked I was at how clean that tattoo looked. Exactly how I wanted it! This place definitely offers HIGH QUALITY tattoos and experiences. Also, the healing experience was super easy and I felt like it healed really fast! All in all, I loved the vibe and all the people working. Everyone was super nice and accommodating. I'm so so happy with my tattoo and I definitely feel like it was worth every cent. read more

Laughable talent at an even more laughable price. There may be talent in those walls- but we didn't find it. Thomas Christopher, and for that matter the owner as well, produce scratcher work at high end prices. The young neighborhood has fueled their absolutely delusional concept of how tattoos should work. If you want quality at a reasonable price- find yourself another shop. 10/10 for the floor manager who adeptly handled my poor attitude at the awful service- at least there's that. Please, for the sake of your sanity avoid places that are blind to poor work for the sake of saving face. Tattoo was -over worked -crooked -uneven -over priced -unfinished (which is wild considering it was less than 4 inches) 15 minutes of tattooing for 350 dollars- what a deal ! Great service! Honest opinions on healing- as we got a mother/ daughter, and family tattoo. Guest artist, Jessica, was patient and very understanding that it was my moms first tattoo. I know that sounds weird, but I love tattoos and my mom agreed 20 yrs ago to get one with me. No matter how small, it meant a lot to me. Jessica being patient but my mom going through with it like a champ! We both love our new tattoos! The place is clean and comfortable. Everyone was extremely friendly. Would go again and recommend to others and already have! read more

Had an amazing experience getting my first tattoo with Codak @ Logan Square Tattoo. Scheduling couldn't have been easier & Kasie was so helpful in making sure that the piece I wanted was paired with a compatible artist and any prep I needed to do before the appointment. Codak was so kind, knowledgeable, and it was an overall very comfortable experience (as comfortable as getting a tattoo can be (: ). Really made me feel at ease and verbally walked me through everything he was doing & should expect with aftercare. Will definitely be going back to LST & Codak for any future pieces! 10/10 - could not recommend this studio enough! read more

Had a great experience at Logan Square Tattoo with Pedro! I scheduled an appointment with him a few months in advance after being on his waitlist (he books quickly! follow him on instagram to find out when his booking opens up) He was very easy to work with, great communication, and listened to my specific requests for my tattoo. He also has a really pleasant, approachable personality which I appreciate in a tattoo artist. read more

Went here for my first tattoo about a week ago, and was really happy I chose this place. Jeremy made the whole process super easy- he was great to work with from initial communication through my appointment and I couldn't be happier with how my tattoo turned out. For a first timer who wasn't totally sure what to expect, I was never uncomfortable or nervous once I walked in. Now my only problem is figuring out what to get next! read more

Very weird ambience and consultation. Messaged the artist I was interested in (Christian) on IG and his reply time was slow. He just told me to come in for an in person consultation. So I came in and he was talking to me like I was dumb. I was asking about my eighth tattoo idea with him cause I liked his work but the consultation was so awkward and uncomfortable. He also priced such a simple piece for $200. Sticking with Insight Studios instead! read more

I found Christian through Instagram after months of searching. I got my first and second tattoos here both small and fine line. They still look amazing. I honestly wouldn't want to go to another artist. You go to Christian for his amazing work as an artist, and good art shouldn't come cheap. read more

Came in for a consultation a couple months ago and Wyse was able to quickly fit me in because his next client was late. Gave me my first tattoo & it was **exactly** how I wanted it. He was super nice and efficient and even gave me his number afterwards in case I had questions about taking care of it. Will definitely be returning to him for my second -- beautiful work!! read more

I've followed Christian Wyse or Wyse.1 on Instagram for awhile and I'll just say he's the best of the best. He's an absolute professional, works quickly but cautiously, and is a legend. I love detailed and dainty lines and he performed with perfection. So much in fact I booked a second appointment with him because his books fill up fast. TERRIBLE service from Lizzie. She made me wait over an hour after my appointment, never even said sorry so I just left. Complete waste of my time. When I showed her my ideas, she basically she tried convincing me out of it (literally super basic script in red ink and placement around my forearm) idk if she just didn't know how to do it? She said not to do red ink, and that it would be better straight up the arm like every other person does. So disappointed, and the girl at the front desk was not welcoming at all. Never coming back to this place. read more

Over priced, over rated, and 0 customer service skills. Walked out. Plenty of other places to get ink.

Just Amazing! Very clean, professional, in and out! Very happy will be back! Mike Mac! Awesome job!!

I went with my girlfriend to her tattoo consultation with Christian and I noticed he was being rude to her so I was happy to get out of there. What made things worse is that he directly messaged her on her personal Instagram after she wrote her yelp review and just from reading his messages to her, rather than just learning from the situation, it seems like he couldn't take the criticism. It was completely unprofessional and I don't know what he was looking to gain afterwards. And just to clarify, this rating is specifically towards Christian and not the business. read more

Huge bummer! I went in as a walk in (my boyfriend was with me) as I was only looking to get a couple very small tattoos and the worker who approached us came on very aggressively and treated me like I knew nothing. What he didn't know was that i currently have 8 tattoos, 2 of them very in-depth, and I was treated like I was a rookie. He said he could do it since he had so many cancelations (which would make me think he'd try to get our business even more...?) anyway, I've always wanted to get tatted here and he ruined it for me. We left. Hope he was just having a bad day! read more

I've been coming here for a couple years now, this place is great. Allie has done some amazing tattoos for me and I really dig his work. Not to mention he's a great guy and talented artist! I wish something had gone wrong so I could write like a really long-winded and funny review but seriously, this place is just great and easy to work with. I emailed them through the website, Allie (who is a seriously excellent tatooer, BTW) emailed me back. We worked through designs and set up an appointment. I showed up for my appointment and he had a couple cool designs drawn up. I picked one and he put it on me in like, an hour. The shop was nice and clean and everyone was cool. I mean, everyone's just sitting around shooting the shit and doing awesome tattoos. Really, it was so great that it was actually boring. :) I'm definitely going back. read more

A+ for hygiene. Solid work, nice people. The lollipops at the front desk are excellent.

Scheduling is awful. Sent several messages to Lizzie who would respond days later, if at all. When I called to schedule a time they said email was the best route and still not a word. Suggest finding another artist and place for fine line tattoos. read more

By far the best tattoo shop in Chicago...I've referred a lot of people there and they've all been happy with every single artist there no matter who it was. I go see Allie Sider who is not only an incredible artist, but will listen to what you want, give suggestions that are far better than what I would have thought of, and he's not heavy handed so I highly recommend him...but they're all great! Best of all this place is super duper clean which is what you want when getting tattooed. If you're a first timer, or you're looking for someone to fix what another artist did I highly recommend this place...it's awesome. read more

I'm always skeptical when I see all five stars for a business, but I understand now! I went in for my first tattoo with Allie and he was great! I was nervous but he was incredibly understanding and helped keep me distracted during the process. My tattoo is in the healing process and looks fantastic. He was even able to squeeze my friend in for her small arm tattoo. Definitely understand why people love this place- highly recommend! Attached is the very first pic after he finished. The second is 6 days after and it looks fantastic. Thanks Allie! read more

This place is awesome and truly a custom tattoo studio as well. I wanted a unique piece which only had a few ideas (fruits, trees, birds) to drive it. Gifford was able to bring that into fruition through his illustrative talent, and the piece has come out beautifully and truly one of a kind. I had to give him minimal direction and trusted his judgement and am thankful for that. I went to a few other tattoo studios in the city for the past year including ones that claim to be "custom studios" and all of them wanted a lot of direction from me. read more

I have had 3 tattoos by Christian and wouldn't go anywhere else! Christian is amazing! After having a horrible experience in nyc with my first tattoo I was beyond surprised by Christian. This review is for Christian. I've worked with many tattoo artists but once I found Christian I've been loyal to him! I live in California now but I wait until I'm back visiting Chicago to get work done because he's that good. I like to draw my own tattoos and he does a great job preserving my drawings when a lot of other tattoo artists like to add in their own style. Work always heals flawlessly and my very detailed pieces still look great years later. Highly recommend!!! read more

I came here for my first tattoo and had a great experience. Gifford was very professional and accommodating. He worked with me regarding the design, making sure I felt comfortable and giving me a heads up on what to expect and proper aftercare. Everyone at the shop seemed pretty down to earth, friendly and helpful. I would certainly go back and have already recommended this shop to a friend. I'm very pleased with the experience and also with the tattoo! read more

Walked by the shop after Easter brunch with my wife and was happy to see them open. I was even happier they were able to take a walk in. Spoke to Christian about the star of David I was interesting in getting done as a filler. He was very helpful with design and black and grey coloring. Christian was extremely friendly and I enjoyed my experience at Logan Square Tattoo. Couldn't be happier with how the star came out. People should stop in and ask for him. As a side note- Christian has some really cool flash designs he has done and people should check them out. Hope to go back and get one soon. read more

You know, it's hard to find an artist who's work you appreciate and who has a personality that jives. After all the person who you end up working with is going to be inflicting some pain on you. Gifford has been the artist i go to to exclusively for the past 8 years and can say i trust no other to shred my skin to look so good the way i trust this dude. Do your self and your skin a favor and support this shop and it's artists. read more

So excited that Allie Sider is now a permanent artist at this gallery! His work is top notch, and he is quick and precise. The shop is super comfy, and Allie and the guys are fun to be around. Plus, Allie is great with squirmers (like me). Definitely check him and the fellas out! read more

An absolute professional through and through, Mike worked with my wife and me on our designs, pointed out what would and wouldn't work, and made time in his schedule to get us in the same day. Unfortunately my lady got cold feet and we never wound up getting the pieces done. However, based on Mike's professionalism, pieces I've seen done by him and other artists there, and how immaculately clean the shop was I'd highly recommend them. If I still lived in Chicago, I'd definitely be going to them for my next piece. read more

The guys at Logan Square are amazing. Great artists, very accommodating and tuned to what their customers are looking for, and also really friendly and welcoming. I'm currently in the process of getting a custom-designed tattoo by Gifford, which I will post here when it's done. His work is really unique and special, and he will be handling many of my tattoo "needs" in the future. I highly recommend this shop. read more

Can't recommend this place enough. There are many tattoo shops in Chicago, and a few with 4-5 stars, but after going to a few of them I'd say Logan Square Tattoo is the place I'd come back to and refer to everyone I know. There are 0 airs of pretention here and I think that makes a big difference. I walked in at 4pm with a friend on a Saturday and had to wait almost no time. We both sat with tattoo artist Speck. She is funny, thorough, talented, and understanding without being patronizing (like when I got super light-headed and shaky post-tattoo because I hadn't eaten enough, and she sat with me until I felt better, didn't try to rush me or make me feel bad, and gave me glucose tablets and a cold compress until she was sure I felt fine). You can tell the people who work here are just really good at their jobs and don't care to create an environment where anyone would feel stupid or out of place. Cheers Logan Square Tattoo. read more

This is the best place to get a tattoo. I'm getting my third tattoo there today, and have had my previous two done by Su. Like many people, I was very particular about what I wanted for my tattoo. Not having the creative skills to draw it myself, I put my trust in Allie Sider to create a piece a had described for him in an email. This tattoo was a particularly important one for me- I wanted to get roses on my arm for my late grandmother. Allie's skill surpassed by expectations- he came up with a beautiful drawing and was willing to take the time to make the minor adjustments I asked for. It's not always easy to trust someone to create a life-long piece on your body, but I'm so thankful I went to Allie to get it done. Thanks again, dude! read more
