Pierre Sang was pretty good. This was the first time I've done a "blind tasting" where they…read moreencourage you to guess the ingredients used. I liked this and I had fun puzzling it out with my friends. We did not do a very good job! It was hard to guess the ingredients and I think they purposefully try to fool you a little. I have photos of each course but I don't remember all the details. We had 6 courses. There was a small starter of a bao bun; mine was markedly less filled than the others on the table, so the proportions were off and I felt shortchanged. Then we had a fish course, a course with savory ice cream and some bread (like cornbread), a mushroom "pate" course, a cheese course (one big slice of cheese), and dessert (ice cream and apricots?). I felt like everything (taste, texture, ingredient quality and variety) were good but not great, especially since they are making things easier on themselves by doing fixed menus. Staff tried to explain what all the dishes and ingredients were, and they did good but not great job. They spoke English but didn't always know the English words for specific ingredients. The ambiance was fine. We were at a long, narrow communal table on the first floor just next to the kitchen and the door. It was a little cold from people coming in and out and a little busy with all the staff moving around. It wasn't the most refined or relaxing atmosphere.

We had an amazing experience at Pierre Sang, unlike any dining experience we have ever had. We went…read morefor my husband's 50th birthday and it was such a treat. Everything was innovative and delicious (I'm sure the menu changes regularly). They accommodated my gluten allergy and I had the best gluten free bread that I've ever had (made fresh just for me!). We had an outstanding server who taught us a ton about interesting wines as we opted for the wine pairing too. I read some reviews about price point, but it was much cheaper than Prix Fixe in SF, Chicago and NYC where we dine regularly and the portions were big. The vibe was cozy and we enjoyed walking around the neighborhood before hand.

Happy hour was about to end in 5 minutes so we ordered 7 Hennessy side cars lol the waiter was in shocked but was happy to get us our drinks just in time before it was over. Btw our waiters name was Anton and he was great! The drink was delicious and strong so it was perfect for dinner. What we ordered was the dim sum sampler, side of shrimp fried rice, I think it was green curry noodles, the noodles with salmon, shrimp and duck egg rolls, the vermicelli noodles with grilled pork and egg rolls and the goose entree. Boy was everything so good or maybe I was just hungry lol but really the food was good. My favorite dishes was the noodles with salmon, the vermicelli and the goose. Wow I never thought I would have goose but it was really good. Reminded me of steak in a way with a good seat on the outside and tender in the middle. The noodles were good too and good size salmon pieces and was cooked perfectly. And the vermicelli was good too and the nuoc mam wasn't too sweet or salty. At the end they give you a shot if lychee which was sweet and the customer service was superb!

The decor was old, chic and comfortable...closed blinds and dim lights. We each had 3 drinks that was bomb as heck (amazing lol) After our third drink we were able to move to a table. Started off with squid and shrimp fritters that were tasty as heck and for my main I had a curry noodle dish yummm. Afterwards, as we were leaving we realized there was a live band downstairs where you could have also sat and ate. Bummer wish we knew... apparently they sometimes have live concerts, saw a poster from Kendrick Lamar's previous show there#wishiwasthere. we went on down for a bit and had another drink but honestly i was tipsy and needed to catch a uber pronto lol those drinks were strong af. I would highly recommend this place to anyone! Great ambience, friendly staff, it's inexpensive and the drinks and food is bomb

I opted for a glass of sauvignon blanc to pair with my 6 course meal. I enjoyed each and every course. Though the courses visually looked small I found myself very full. The freshness of all the ingredients paired with perfect execution and wonderful service warrants another visit to Esens'All.

When you enter the "grass/moss" wall just warms the place up in Avery simple yet modern decor. We got the 8 course chef choice (silly to get 6 course when you come to a place like this) and let our senses go crazy!! Everything was so finely made and so pure and the flavor exploded in your mouth!! It's seriously quite the experience for any foodie!! If you are remotely in a hurry or want a large amount of food, do not come here. If you want to experience course made perfectly and appreciate the presentation, there is no better place to eat dinner over 2 - 2 1/2 hours!! This is your dinner, show and after party wrapped in one!! The service by the way was incredible as the chef explained every dish himself and gave us a preview of what to anticipate next...5 stars without reservations!!
