The remodeled Meijer in Huber Heights is one of the better grocery stores in the Dayton area. The renovation has made a big difference. The new refrigerated sections are bright, well lit, and make it easy to find what you're looking for. The entire store feels clean and well stocked. The biggest strength here is the staff. Team members are consistently friendly and helpful, especially in the self-checkout area. The meat department is well stocked, and the expanded seafood section is a noticeable upgrade with a much better selection than before. Prices are competitive, and there are always plenty of sale items throughout the store. The only things keeping this from five stars are the produce department, where leafy greens can sometimes look a bit wilted, and a checkout system that can occasionally be annoying. Overall, a clean, well-run store that has benefited greatly from the remodel. read more

Don't understand the reasoning for the poor reviews, but I came here for one thing only and they had it. My husband loves Bob Evan's and their biscuits and gravy. We used be able to get 2 pounds of sausage from the restaurant in Orlando. They won't do it anymore. So, we are here visiting family and knew Meijer's sells it. They one upped themselves. The sausage comes with sage. We bought our biscuits and gravy ingredients only to see Gino's East Pizza. I love Chicago Style Pizza so we added that to the cart. As a joke we also bought Connie's Pizza as that is the name of one of our family members. Looking forward to breakfast and lunch. I hope TSA leaves my luggage alone and allows me to take my little prizes back home with me. read more

This Meijer goes down as one of the most poorly stocked, grocery stores I have ever been to in my life. It never fails, every single time I go, they are usually out of at least 5 to 6 normal items that I need. During the pandemic, I would give them the benefit of the doubt, but now, there is no excuse. read more

I like this meijers for several reasons. I can normally find what I am looking for here and the self checkout clerk Trudi is very knowledgeable in her job and very helpful when problems arise checking out. It is generally easy in and easy out so that is a plus! Would recommend and will continue to shop here. read more

If like me you are a truck driver don't even attempt To stop here and purchase groceries or any Other products. They don't want us coming here, there are big Posted signs saying trucks will be towed immediately. I have never ever in my entire life been disrespected like I was by Annaliese at this location. Originally I had come to purchase an iPad mini but was convinced by the store associate that I would love the iPad full size Who also promised me that if I didn't like it I had 30 days to return it also I bought a hotspot because I'm traveling on the road for work. I was told because I had opened the iPad From the plastic that it was sealed in that it was void of return I've never in my entire life heard that then after I get this item returned to Meijers I will never shop at the store again. To make matters worse the hotspot ended up having major issues that it was not able to be activated I've tried purchase two $70 cards which were both easily refunded by Walmart but because the box was missing one of the brochures she also informed me that this was unable to be returned as well. Honestly I felt like this lady did all this on purpose because I've never in my entire life been humiliated or treated like that way as a paying customer. If you plan on buying anything except food from the store I would reconsider because if they sell you any product that's broken rest assured they will go out of their way to make sure you cannot even get a store credit, just to put this in perspective I bought a really nice pair of Beats by Dre headphones at target a few months ago that I accidentally lost the receipt and it turned out they had some issues as well with the volume cutting in and out instead of humiliating me the manager immediately offered me a store credit so I could use the money to purchase something else at their establishment. Please don't shop here there is much better alternative that will actually protect your hard earned money, thanks Annalease For being the worst customer service representative I've ever encountered I will pray for you because that's not how people should ever be treated. This Meijer is a million times better than the one.on Colonel Glenn. Their selection is usually excellent except around holiday time it can get a little bare in the produce aisle. I'm still grumbling about their lack of leeks last week. Moving on... I feel they have more merchandise at this location but that's unlikely. Walmart's Competition: This is Meijer has groceries, retail, and pharmacy. Located only a couple blocks from the Brandt Pike Walmart this is another alternative to discount shopping. As a note if you want to turn left down Brandt Pike you will need to exit at the back of the lot and take the back street to get to the left turn light. We recently moved here from a suburb of Kansas City and we mostly had Price Choppers and HyVee. The Price Choppers are over-priced and not so great. They HyVees are nicer and better prices. This is much closer to HyVee in terms of quality and prices. I was very pleasantly surprised at the selection and better prices. I went to another Meijer closer to the Home Depot and it was really nice also. Loved the clearance shelf, got some really nice things that were not close to expiration. Not sure why they were there but it is a great chain. A nice plus for this area. read more

Went here yesterday to get some flowers for Sweetie Pie for Valentines day. Usually go to Kroger's but this was on my way as I was returning from Columbus on I-70 and already late for dinner.
