Pharmacy & Store app/website both are terrible here. The store app never let's us sign in, hell that was DOA from day one here. I took computers courses & Ive been using computers since the mid 80s and never got their store app to work even once. Reinstalled it several times on different phones, Ive never had issues like this store has, never in my life. They finally ditched their Pharmacy app because it was so horrible but their websites just as bad, makes you sign in constantly, you have to get a push notification every single sign-in, even 10 seconds later. No banks or other pharmacy apps do this dumb chit. Terrible app developers here, people say Meijers should fire them immediately. I tend to agree. After all, this is a pharmacy for goodness sakes, people should never have to drive 45 miles to their drug store each month with the hope they have their med in stock then drive back home only to return again the following day because they dont have it. Especially after signing forms stating you only buy from this pharmacy monthly & no other? Gas is $4.60 a gallon!! Geez! Only pharmacy Ive heard of without auto refills too fyi. Clearly they dont care about their customers needs at all here. Very inconvenient place to get scripts. CVS just cost too much now but man how I miss small pharmacies that ordered any other brand med at our request because they understand customer needs. If you suffer from side effects & need another brand all I had to do was ask for a different brand that used different fillers in their pills. Meijer hiding their price on 12 packs of Mountain Dew Zero is robbery. Charging $8.49 for a 12 pack is robbery when they hide the price. This adds up to $16.98 for a 24 pack. I didn't realize what the price was until I got home. This just shows me that they can't be trusted. Two days before that I purchased three 12 packs at Dollar General store for $14.00 read more

I came here to fill up my hotel room for a two week stay in Evansville, and I wasn't disappointed. The prices were good and the produce was abundant and fresh. The bakery was slightly lacking, but the other choices more than made up for that! read more

The store itself is not an issue. My main problem is the fish, the tanks are disgusting, over populated and just sad to look at. The store employee who fed them literally took the lid off of the fish food and hit it against the glass to spread some in. This has looked like this for a few months and it shows what little they care about their aquatic life. I for sure no longer shop for my fish supplies there. read more

Every single time I come to Mejier, which has been a very good handful of times, I'd say about 20, the employees have been rude. Every time I check out I get treated like a criminal (mind you I have absolutely zero intention of stealing I have quite enough money for everything I buy). I come with my boyfriend, who lives with me and we go to the same machine with our stuff but we split the orders because we don't share the same cards. The lady comes up to us as he is paying for the stuff he just scanned ( my unpaid items are in the cart still) she asks him if it's a separate order and he says yes and she gives him a nasty look, insinuating that we are lying. I say "yes, all of the rest of the items in the cart are mine. I haven't scanned any of them yet" she says okay and walks away. I began scanning my items and she sees my case of Celsius (which I haven't scanned yet because there was no room on the table beside the machine to set it, and I organize my bags to make it easier to put away when home) she asks me if I've scanned that yet and I said no, then she asks if I'd like her to scan it and I said "I mean I don't mind, I just don't have room on the table right now to place it anywhere" and then she goes ahead and scans it for me then puts a sticker on it. She continues to watch me scan all my items as I sort them into bags and then I pay and leave. I felt like I was being investigated for a crime I didn't commit or intend of comiting, this is just one of the examples of coming to meijer and being treated this way, it happens every single time I come. read more

I have been a Mperks member at Meijers for several years, and I had accumulated over 35,000 points, and checked my account today- and when i opened the app instead of my name it had another name. I wasn't thinking, I just hit the sign out, and attempted to sign back in- and it stated I was not a member. I phoned customer service- was told my account did not exist- hence neither did my points. The representative stated there was nothing they could do- I asked how my account could just be delete, she said it couldn't, so even though I had used it for years, now it just not there. I will not shop at Meijers or use Mperks ever again, so please beware if you do use this. Very disappointing customer service from Mperks!!! read more

I placed a pickup order for August 16th. My husband picked it up, brough it home and unloaded for me. I however missed that we did NOT get our Jimmy Dean breakfast sausage however we were charged for it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now i do not have sausage for a soup nor for breakfast. Upon further looking we got 2 of the same biscuits. I ordered 1 flakey and 1 regular (kids are picky). I got 2 flakey. this is ok, at least this is the correct brand and flavor. Please make sure your team that is shopping is paying attention! Now i am having to spend money to get what i need This is also why i never allow substitutes for items either. I am extremely upset about paying for 2 items that i did not even receive. If the item is sold out, I'd rather be told it was out of stock (as 2 other items were and was advised) however i do not appreciate getting the incorrect item when i have specifically planned for an item to make a specific dinner for a family event. Please pay attention to what you are doing, this is your job! Make sure the shoppers are grabbing the correct items. They are using technical equipment to guide them to the correct location in the store along with the name of the item. if the item does not look like the jimmy dean picture and does not say jimmy dean.... its not jimmy dean. i know many high school and college kids shop for pick up orders, but they should know how to read and acknowledge what their job requires of them to compile a successful shop for completion. If your shoppers do not care to be correct and communicate about the online order, this reflects on management and training. We only shop for specific certain items that we need from Meijer, otherwise we do the majority of our shopping at Aldi. They have never given us the wrong items, advised when things are out of stock, and when they feel that they have done something incorrect, even when they had not, Aldi has refunded or given additional products of items we were wanting. For this Meijer issue of not receiving the sausage and i am ok with the biscuit mix up. I am now going thru the whole order to make sure we didn't get anything else incorrectly. I would prefer to be refunded for the sausage, as i will be able to see it when i log in to my mperks. However, i do love Meijer, this has caught me off guard. Regardless Please make sure that the paid shoppers are shopping and reviewing orders correctly for those of us who are placing grocery orders. read more

Used to be a good store with good sales but it's not anymore they run out of things and don't restock. They run a sale and don't have the item. They mess up on my rewards all the time. I don't shop here as often as I used to because it's really gone downhill. read more

WATCH THE PRICING AT MEIJER. I bought pickle relish (8 oz), it was labeled on the shelving as .99. When I got to the checkout I was charged $1.19. I brought it to their attention and they said they would take care of it. 7 days later I went back. Bought another bottle of 8 oz pickle relish...just to see if they had changed the price. Got to check out and they had NOT changed the price and it still was labeled on the shelf that it was .99. I am waiting until the 1st of the month and will go back again just to check the price again. I now pay attention to all the prices of things I buy in there. read more

I was overcharged on two items at Meijer and called. Upon my return, I waited at customer service as I saw Renee (on name tag) leave the counter area. When she returned she brought up another customer that had not been waiting to process in front of me. The only reason for taking time out of a Sunday and costing the gas money to return to Meijer was to correct the Meijer overcharges. Kyle the manager offered no apology. Being from southwest Ohio, I am familiar with Meijer and am very happy to welcome it to Evansville! However, I will not return until they staff more cashiers. I'm not providing free labor in their self checkout lines or waiting on their self checkout overseers to stop socializing long enough to assist customers. The store is clean and easy to navigate with lots s of helpful signage and staff who appear to be interested in helping you spend money getting stuff you want and need. Except for the deli. The deli staff don't care why you're there. They don't acknowledge customers even when they make eye contact with you. They sure don't offer assistance. They focus on moving merchandise around behind behind the counter mostly. Two other customers wandered up while I was waiting and they got the same treatment. So, thumbs down on the deli....took an almost 5 rating down to a 3 because I went to the store for deli meats and salads. Probably won't bother going back since it's a bit out of the way for me. read more

I love this place as the selection and prices are amazing and competitive. I love shopping here for produce and meats too as they always seem to have the best selection. The staff is amazing as well. My daughter had a seizure while shopping here so while I was getting all the kids loaded into the car and on the phone with the er know we were on our way a cashier opened a lane so that my mother who was shopping with me they day could proceed to check out and meet us at the er. read more

I LOVE Meijer! Great store with a staff that has a great attitude, is helpful and kind. They offer fresh produce and fresh food options that are yummy. Beware!! No longer the friendly Corner store they were before ownership change. Since I work in the service industry I rarely leave bad reviews. Maybe 5 my whole life and I'm old lol. So I've been going into Simpson's nearly weekly for the last 25 years and have never had a hint of problem cashing a check. This morning I go in not expecting a problem since I've never had one in 25 years. Normally I wouldn't go on a Sunday, however my Mom is Diabetic and is in dire need of medicine, plus I've worked all night and it nearly triple digit heat outside. The lady behind the desk cooks up a blatant lie for an excuse not to cash the check and showed zero empathy. Having been going there for over 2 decades, I extremely crushed by her rudeness and lack of empathy. Lesson Learned customer loyalty to a business means nothing. I love this store, and I spend like $800-$1000 a month here. However if I get sick from shopping here ONE MORE time (and i know it's here) I'm stop shopping here. I guess a lot of sick people shop here or something? I've literally never had this problem with any other store, but for some reason at this Meijer I've gotten sick from shopping here like 4 times in the past 4 months. I'm trying to get back to training for a 5k I can't be getting sick every month this is BS. I'll give an example I went to use one of their carts and INSIDE the cart were two grundgey looking dried cart wipes littered in the cart which none of the employees bothered to clean out even though it was in plain sight. Only when I already had them in my hand did an employee offer to take them and throw them away. Well the germs are already in my hands, thanks for being helpful after the fact! At the time, I thought "this is probably going to get me sick" IF I HAD ONLY taken that thought seriously I would've washed my hands immediately. My point is, you shouldn't have to wash your hands in the store before you shop because employees who work there can't bother to keep filthy litter out of the carts, Schnucks manages just fine and has for years. I really love the store and the prices on meat are super good, but it's really not worth it if my immune system is going to be infected with filth every x amount of times I shop. read more

We had a terrible experience in Meijer.... Sales associate treated us like we were felons when our 22 year old daughter was holding a bottle of wine and she was accosted and berated for not having her id, she was not trying to purchase it, she was with us, her parents, and just handing the bottle to the clerk.. the clerk says it is policy we can't purchase the item if my daughter doesn't have her id since she touched the bottle... that is a little over the top, but policy is policy, but he way she humiliated my daughter was not cool... we will not be going back.... read more

This afternoon my fiance and I came into the store because we love mejer and enjoy shopping there instead of elsewhere on our rare days off together. At checkout we spent $312.43 on groceries and household items. The young man working the self checkout then asked to see our receipt to verify we paid for a 12 pack of sprite. We did. He apologized and said that security had called him and told him to check. He was nervous, but polite. Weird, but no harm done. We then exited the store and were stopped by a loss prevention agent. He demanded to see our receipt. He was on his cell phone and abrasive and refused to answer our questions. He determined that whatever he thought we stole wasn't stolen and started to walk off. I said that we would need to speak to the GM. He said "Fine, talk to whoever you want to." I said that, no we needed to go inside and speak to the GM. He shouted "Fine, go! Talk to whoever!" On his phone the whole time. He then followed us inside then stormed past us without explanation or apology. We spoke to Mod Kyle L. who refused to give me the contact information for the store director or the Market loss prevention director. When I explained that I had spent 15 years in LP, 10 as a manager at Macy's, he tried to downplay my concerns and said that I may just not understand their policies. I told him that I understand Indiana law and what a bad stop is. He told me it's the store director's day off, but he'd pass on my information. I have since called corporate and called Kyle back and still have not heard back from Chris, the store director. This is absurd. As the GM of a store myself I would have already spoken to the district manager, the regional loss prevention director, and the customer and, most likely, fired somebody. I am shocked at how this is being handled and flabbergasted that Kyle L. dismissed my concerns in an exasperated tone when I called to follow up. I will not let this go until they resolve it. Very nice place and lots of variety. Lots of choices, large isles, and modern shopping carts. Avoid the pretzel shop when exiting. You'll loose all the money you saved on their over priced pretzels and their sub par nacho cheese sauce. read more
