Expensive but has many things of different needs I think it's worth it produce usually fresh different minerals etc just a good store

It's good to find a place that has some healthy choices. There are a few good employees and a few of the other sort. We have to drive an hour from where we live so it's disappointing when an item we want is not in stock or isn't on the shelf but it is in back but hasn't been put on the shelf yet. The biggest frustration comes at self checkout. A couple employees act like drill sergeants suspecting each shopper is going to steal something. On top of that their shopping bags are the cheapest and worst anywhere. Today before leaving self checkout the bag ripped at the bottom and my purchases fell out. The smarty pants employee suggests "you need to double bag". My thoughts were Fresh Thyme needs to buy better bags. I then told the employee that we broke a $15 bottle of wine from Fresh Thyme when their paper bag gave way in my garage. My garage smelled good but shattered glass was everywhere. The unsympathetic employee again snipped, "you need to double bag" to which I again suggested Fresh Thyme buy better bags. read more

On a recent work trip I decided to stop by the store to get some food to make for lunches each day to maximize my time at an offsite location. I chose the Fresh Thyme Market based on proximity to my hotel. The exterior was warm and inviting, and as soon as I walked in I was greeted by fall-featured items. I give only four stars because compared to other markets of this Ilk the fresh deli bar in the center had relatively few options. Beer selection was also fairly small, which I would expect from a niche market. Overall, you will find a lot of fresh, healthier items here. read more

Great Dining in. One does not usually think of Fresh Thyme as a dine in alternative, but we enjoyed an excellent meal. Besides excellent soup and Chicken they have a lot of entrees to choose from. We enjoyed the Lemon chicken, and pies, soups are excellent. read more

What a pleasure to have a Fresh Thyme in Evansville. I've been waiting for this one ever since I went to the one in Martinsville(I believe). They have a lot of unique food items. Great sandwiches. Oh Fresh Thyme Evansville...what a difference 7 months makes. Not for the better. I have been a regular weekly customer since you opened. I enjoy shopping your fresh produce, healthier shelf options, Boar's Head deli and that honey roasted peanut butter. But...this experience is decidedly less enjoyable every week. Produce that is often not 'fresh', gaps in in stock selections and fewer staff available to check out and assist. Today--is an all time low. As I am familiar with what your store carries I expected to be able to easily fulfill my shopping list today --but your store is bare. I did not schedule time to go to another grocery but will need to. Won't be back for quite some time. Very disappointing. Check out the following photos for just a few examples of the lack of produce, meat, refrigerated items and shelf stable stuff. This was only at the areas I went to pull items on my list!! Fruits were spoiled, meat wasn't butchered (pre-cut), customer service was terrible and most of the things I needed were out of stock.

I love everything about this place but their garden of life protein bars are so old and should be at least discounted or left in a unopened box. Xoxo read more

It's the new place that is hopping in Evansville. I have been doing most of my grocery shopping there since they have opened. They have a great variety of produce and in house made products. One of my favorite sections is where you can by grains, flour, nuts, seeds, granola, and more in bulk. I usually bring in my own container to get these items. As of Feb 2018 they do not have beer and wine, but hopefully that will happen soon. My favorite things I have gotten are the fresh baked pastries, bread, and pizza. Even if you are looking to just grab a quick breakfast, this is a great store to visit! read more

They were out of stock or didnt carry the majority of my list. Little town blues. Cant wait to get back to the city!!

When we first went here soon after it opened we were highly impressed. Now I am moderately impressed. There is generally a good selection, although they were out of the pizza that we like. They had stocked it previously. Also they were out of the Siete foods corn chips that we like. Not as many staff working on Saturday as there used to be. The aisles seem to be crowded with a lot of merchandise on end caps, making it difficult to maneuver even a small shopping cart. There was a woman on a motorized cart ahead of me that nearly knocked things over as she tried to take the corners of the aisles due to inadequate room. As I went to check out, The register had a sign that said "register closed". I wasn't sure if I should stand in this line or go to a different check out when I heard an employee, a man in his late 20s or early 30s? at that checkout register inform the customer ahead of me that "I am a manager so I..." So I asked him, "so, if you're a manager are you going to open more checkouts?" He said, "this one is open." And I said, "oh, I didn't realize that because the closed sign was out." He just looked at me. He did not engage me in conversation, or ask if I found everything OK or if I was having a nice day or anything. At the end of the transaction he just stared at me and handed me my receipt. I asked him, "and 'thank you'?" Again, no response. I think he just wanted people to know he's a manager but he certainly doesn't act like one. He doesn't seem to care about anyone's shopping experience. And if he is in charge of ordering stock, he's doing a poor job.The rest of the store gets 4.5 stars. He gets one star. Was his name Roger? I can't remember. read more

Awesome, helpful staff! My favorite place to shop. Great prices in the meat case. I am picky about my bacon, and they are happy to package what I like. Pollo asado is always fresh and delicious. The salad bar always looks fresh and appetizing. Lots of choices in the bulk bins and make your own nut butters. Want a sample, they do that too! read more

I've been there multiple times to get a specific item and called every time before going there and once I get there they are out of stock of that item has happened three times and I was there within 15 or less of when I called. This place needs a manager! And not hire idiots. Avoid this place at all costs and go to fresh market. Much better place read more

All of the employees are extremely helpful and made it their mission to help me find the last few things on my grocery list. Amazing!
