I felt so much better when I found people who would help me . Special thanks to Charlton at C&A Automotive for making me feel at ease and gave me a great deal . It turned out to be the brake job from hell because of the poor workmanship of the last owner . An hour project turned into a 3 and a half hour nightmare. Charlton messaged me back within 15 minutes. I explained that my throttle dashboard light came on, and Charlton said I might need the $70.00 diagnostic test to turn it off and determine the throttle problem. Charlton also asked me about the size of my engine. I scheduled an appointment and canceled it because the throttle light went out. Perhaps it was the below-freezing temperature and my attempt to drive my vehicle without sufficiently warming it up that prompted the throttle light to come on, I will definitely contact C & A when my vehicle does need servicing. I appreciated the messaging that helped me determine what my vehicle needed. What's valuable? The excellent customer service in fielding my throttle concerns is worth noting.

When we took the VW to D&L, they were very thorough in checking it out and made it clear that the quality issues were not the radio or speakers, but the bluetooth capability. We opted to replace the radio and add a back-up camera to provide better rear view visibility. D&L set the date for the work on the spot and when we provided the car that day, promptly started the work. When I brought this to their attention over the phone they argued a bit but finally agreed to do the specific % I had wanted. I made the appointment for 9am. On the day of the appointment I arrived exactly on time....but the owner (John?) was 30 mins late. Trying to keep positive, we exchanged pleasantries and started to discuss the tinting process. I finally brought up the % I had wanted and that's when things started down hill again. They refused to do anything else besides 40% and then they offered to "upgrade" (+$100) for my choice of tint % and because the 40% was less "color stable" (CLASSIC BAIT AND SWITCH). I asked that he put the 40% restriction in writing so that I could return the groupon and he refused. Enforce an undisclosed restriction then not be honest enough to stand behind it by putting it in writing? Very very very shady. So, not only was I lied to on the phone, but when asked to put the restriction in writing all he could say was "that's not how we do things". STAY AWAY.

So, since I was in the Springfield, PA area I decided to stop into that Tint World store location to get some pricing information for what I had in mind. Immediately upon entering, I was greeted by the front desk representative whose name was "Rose". And, she welcomed me with a friendly "hello" and a "smile'. From there, I explained why I stopped in and Rose was extremely professional, kind, attentive and outgoing & began going over what window tinting options they offered. After going through my options, Rose asked when I was looking to get the tint work done and I asked her if I needed to make an appointment in advance since I just walked-in off the street. It was then she asked me if I'd be interested in getting it done right away since I was already there? At first, I was shocked that they had an opening available. Shortly afterwards, Rose's manager (Ian) came out the shop and confirmed that it would only take an hour to get everything completed. So, I said sure, let's get it done! Honestly, I can say that the entire job only took roughly 45 minutes and I was thoroughly impressed! When they pulled my truck out the bay and brought it around to the front of the store, I was extremely pleased. This was my first time going to Tint World and they were EXCELLENT! From the customer service, attention to detail, great work performed, to how fast they got me in and out at a "decent price", I will definitely go back to them if I decide to do anything else to my truck!
