Thank you very much Jason for your help…read more Very knowledgeable, professional, caring. He helped me from identifying my needs to making a safety plan. Excellent service

Background: I have been a customer for approximately three years. When my home was built in June…read more2023, the builder (Century Communities) contracted with Safe Haven Security to install and activate my smart home connectivity. I own the physical panel and security equipment. The Incident: While currently traveling 3,000 miles away from home, I was subjected to high-pressure sales tactics from Safe Haven representatives attempting to force me into signing a new, long-term contract. I repeatedly advised Safe Haven via multiple communications that I was away, provided them with my specific return date, and requested a temporary delay in any account changes until I returned. Despite this, because I refused to sign a long-term contract while traveling, Safe Haven completely deactivated my account and removed my email address from their system. Impact and Safety Liability: This retaliatory disconnection has completely locked me out of my remote access, leaving me entirely blind to my home's security and automated systems until my scheduled return on July 24. I am currently unable to monitor my security cameras or panel status. I have no way of knowing if my home has power or if my air conditioning is operational in 90+°F weather. Safe Haven placed me in a "no-win" situation, threatening that if I did not sign a contract immediately, my panel would be shut off and I would be forced to pay a reactivation fee later. This intentional disruption goes beyond poor customer service--it has created a severe safety liability and left my home vulnerable. Safe Haven is a primary contractor for many residents in Century Communities developments, and the broader community needs to be forewarned about these coercive tactics.

Don't do business with these people without asking a lot of questions first. We signed up a week…read moreago, and I'm still dealing with the fallout from a sales representative who misrepresented important details and omitted key information throughout the process. 1. Equipment Misrepresentation We were told we would receive two outdoor cameras and one Spotlight Pro camera. Instead, we were charged for three Spotlight Pros and three Outdoor Camera Pros. The installers put up the three Spotlight Pros but did not install any of the outdoor cameras listed on the order summary. I don't know many homeowners with a mid-sized house who need six cameras, so this immediately raised concerns. 2. The Equipment Loan Was Not Properly Explained: A credit check isn't unusual these days, and that wasn't the issue. The problem was that the credit check was being run because they were signing us up for a loan to finance the equipment. Had the sales representative been upfront about that, it wouldn't have been a problem. Instead, he presented the credit check as a standard part of the process and told us the equipment cost would be included in our Vivint bill. While technically true, that wasn't the full story. We didn't learn about the loan until after we had already signed the main Vivint paperwork. The equipment payment is financed through a separate company and added to the overall monthly cost that the sales person quotes. 3. Contract Buyout Process Was Oversimplified: He made it sound super easy and like you would not have to do much to get them to buyout your old contract. You have to send in all your cancellation paperwork and it takes time. Which is fine, but I would like to be told that upfront. 4. The Three-Day Review/Cancellation Period Was Never Mentioned: He omitted that we only had 3 days to review our contract and make adjustments if needed this Includes, equipment, cancellation, contract adjustments, etc. 5. Incentivized Reviews: During the process, we were asked to leave a five-star review in exchange for money off our order. After everything that happened, I can see why. If customers are encouraged to leave positive reviews before they've had time to evaluate the service, it creates very little accountability for poor sales practices. 6. Installation Scheduling Was Misrepresented: To receive an additional discount, we were told we simply needed to be flexible with the installation date and time. I specifically asked if that meant installers might come out during a week day whenever an opening became available, and the salesperson said yes. However, as he was leaving our house around 8:00 PM, he casually mentioned that we were next in the queue. An installer arrived around 9:00 PM and worked until approximately 12:30 AM, yet the system still wasn't fully installed. This was on a day where my husband and I both had work the next day. The installation wasn't completed until late Wednesday night. The entire situation left me feeling rushed and misled. I have filed a complaint with the better business bureau against this company. I called Vivint to request that they send a technician out to do an audit of our equipment and what we actually have to make adjustments. They are sending someone out but the damage is done. I don't want to do business with them, but at this time they are not letting me cancel so I am having to work through the mess they created with their dishonest sales practices and lack of transparency.

This company lies so much!!! From the amount you will be charged, from how to cancel, to payments…read more The service isn't even worth the headache! Not to mention if you move service, they will not uninstall the service properly and will try to charge you for new cameras that you voiced that you do not want!!! I wish I would have just hardwired my own cameras.
