It's never fun when an appliance breaks, especially one we use so much - the microwave! Messaged a few repair businesses and Dhavid got back to me quickly and was able to come the same day with his assistant. They were very pleasant to interact with and were able to quickly fix the microwave (replacing a blown fuse). We have an over the range microwave so it's a bit more involved with having to take it down, but they were very organized and clean. Very nice, came with shoe covers so not to dirty the floor (not needed in our basement lol).... Our washer is an OLD model that you can't easily access the filter. There was a stiff twig stuck that prevented the pump from turning... which prevented draining.... Which prevented spinning. Line clean out was $150 - we paid cash - so he gave a discount. It's a nice gesture for us seniors. We have a regular guy that went MIA so we called MegaFix. Other companies wanted this that and so on.... He was the only one to say I can come tomorrow - no charge for diagnostic. We like that. Action oriented. Get it done! read more

This is the second time I used MegaFix and my second review. I wrote a previous review on May 21 when the proprietor, DzDavid did some work in my home. This time I had a problem with the washing machine in a rental unit that needed to have it's water gasket/sleeve replaced because the machine was leaking. I texted DzDavid on Monday, June 24 at 11:19am. Amazingly he responded 10 minutes later. After I fully described the problem and sent him the machine model number, he got back to me 5 minutes later asking if I would be available for the new gasket/sleeve installation the next day, June 25! He showed up actually early, worked two straight hours, did the removal of the old and installation of the new gasket/sleeve on the washer, and then, on his own volition, cleaned out the exhaust conduit of the dryer! Consider yourself fortunate if you have an opportunity to have DzDavid agree to do any repairs for you. Not only is he knowledgeable and expeditious, but reasonable in his charges.
