The service call was billed as two separate services, one for each appliance, with a notable discount applied to the service charge, which seemed reasonable. For both the dryer and the washer, Alex performed a control panel reset. Following the resets, both the dryer panel became responsive and the washer agitator began spinning again. However, Alex also provided recommendations for potential future work. For the dryer, he strongly suggested replacing the vent hose, despite it appearing unobstructed and functioning correctly upon our own inspection. The estimate for this was significant, comparable to the cost of a new dryer.
