Got dinner from Megabite delivered through just-eat.com. Pleasantly surprised by the quality and taste! I used to think it was impossible to mess up pizza (like the old adage: "the similarity between sex and pizza is that even a bad pizza is a good pizza...) But, experience has proved this wrong. Hey, we're talking about pizza here, folks :) The spinach roll is like a sausage roll but more in a bread-like covering than pastry. Inside is spinach and either feta or goat cheese. Tasty! Could have used a smidgen more filling to achieve great bread:filling ratio. The monster pizza was highly enjoyable. I added mushrooms and black olives and it was very affordable. Gluten free option available. Delivery was fast and friendly. I am glad to add this establishment to my 'delivery bag of tricks'. Had megabite. Two slices and a drink for $6.25. Prices are slowly going up each year. Understable with the cost of living and inflation. The location is a bit dirty (understable since alot of people frequent the location). Not bad for a quick bite. By far the worst pizza I've ever had! Really bad service l went at 6pm and the cashier told us they won't be preparing anymore vegetarian pizza so the only option l had was to order the old dried up cheese cardboard slice that was hard and tasted gross and dry. What more can l expect from employees who can't even communicate properly. They charge $2.75 a slice and the pizzas sits under heat lamps for hours then they put the old slice in the oven and heat it up and give it to you by the time you put it in your mouth is dry hard and has no flavour. The downtown location has more options and is cleaner and charges a fair price. For a lower price you can get better quality pizza from so many other places and much better service with a smile. I love Megabite. They're all over the place, but for a $2 slice kind of place you can't get better, and I love their thin crust with the dash of sesame seeds on it. Lots of different kinds of pizza, some quitw unique for a slice place, , clean. Most trust worthy and consistent pizza slice joint. And this one at production station is brand new and roomier than some of the older ones. So great, if I'm starving while on the skytrain, I can get a very good slice. Not so hot for delivery though... their problem is that they put all the topping over the cheese. Unless you get pepperoni, it all falls off. I wouldn't have the patience for that with a whole pizza and several people going at it at home. I'd end up with topping all over my carpet. read more

Went in on a Monday at lunch time. All the Za's looked dry, but the worker said I'll heat them up and they'll be great. Against my better judgement I ordered a ham-pine&cap-mush. I sat down with them and heard a young couple complain to the cook that the slices were hard and dry, he said basically nothing but "oh well" it's not busy during the holidays. Not an offer of a refund or make them new ones as they had 4 slices with 1 bite out of each. They just tossed them in the garbage and left. Mine were the same so I looked at the server and she went in the back with the cook. I peeled off the meat and tossed the rest. This is all too common in take out joints with kids working. No approval to refund money for crappy food when the owner or manager isn't there. Mega bite is usually a solid 3 stars and nothing more as I've had a too many misses at this co. I use to love this place, and even put many friends onto it too, but it's lacking in the last "yearish." Two pizzas on top of each other are the weight, or less, that one use to be. They were so filling with so many yummy toppings and now, at least two pieces to a box, have a spot where you can see right down to the dough! We still order now and then but when the prices go up, and they did a while back, jumped 4.00 for the double decker, we will no longer order. The toppings/price balance will certainly be off then. It's too bad, we had a good run haha PLUS they charge for delivery and I always tip on top of that. i ordered from this useless place and waited 1 hour and 15 mins on a week day for lunch for our family . we get the order and they didn't even get the order right after i got an email saying what i ordered.(if you cant understand english dont work with people) call them and a rude china man answered the phone and told me it would be another hour wait for the stuff that was messed up in the order to be replaced. i told them just bring the money back that i was out, the business is about 5 blocks away and they told me i had to wait until about 8pm. it was 1pm since the order. i told them it was not acceptable and the rude china man said wait till the next day. he told me i was getting 10% off the order plus what i was out in the order. i got my money back 6 hours later but not the 10 % like i was told i was to get for them messing up the order and waiting so long. the pizza was not the best and the wings were way over cooked, tasted frozen. i will never oder from them again and will never tell anyone to eat there ever. and as for the rude china man telling me this is a pizza place not a delivery service.....because i want to get the money back and having to waiting all day till closing was not acceptable at all. never had a problem with pizza until this place. made me sick ! they will never get my money again and my kids didn't even like it ! ended up tossing most of the order in the trash. read more
