DO NOT GO HERE! PLEASE READ AND LEARN FROM MY LESSON!!!
I will start by saying that my credit wasn't the best and I was desperate for a car. This was my first time car shopping and I was very naive. I was definitely taken advantage of. It was lie after lie from the very beginning. On July 19th I bought a 2015 Honda civic. I was assured nothing was wrong and that my car was serviced on the lot a few months prior(lie #1) and I was told that the car had been in no accidents (lie #2) and that the car was recently serviced (lie#3) when I took the car for a test drive everything seemed fine at first. When it came time to sign the paperwork I was shown a car fax that listed no accidents, in the middle of signing after being financed another car fax is shown to me that shows accidents- granted they weren't major but it was a deceptive practice on their end. I was never given an official Honda key, only a copy( and only one copy at that) like I said at the time I had never owned a car and didn't know that official Honda keys come licensed with a key fob attached. When I checked the website listening Mega Motors had posted for my car a key fob was supposed to be included in the description. I called and asked and was told the boss said he couldn't get me one and the best they could do is split the cost 50/50. My car also had a crack in the windshield that I couldn't see during the test drive because of how they strategically placed their car window stickers. Now here comes the real problems. A few hours after leaving the lot I notice a knocking noise coming from the engine and squealing from the brakes. I took it to les Schwab and was told that there was a lot wrong with my car. I had to replace: the entire front right axle, front and back breaks, spark plugs, coolant, oil change and new filter, tire rotation and a new tire pressure sensor. When I took the car back I was rudely dismissed (I'm assuming because I'm a female) and was told and I quote " That's just how cars sound, do you not know that ? Those auto shops are just trying to take advantage of you." I received no help from the car lot and was only offered a complimentary fix of the cracked windshield and apparently a "dealers discount " on brakes which isn't even a real thing! The windshield is the only help I have gotten from them. I have spent close to 2K just to get this car running since it hasn't been serviced in god knows how long. A code reader was attached and both auto shops told me the codes for maintenance had been cleared multiple times but no work was done. My car was so overdue for an oil change that the engine was knocking and the mechanic was shocked it even ran at all. To this day I have yet to receive a spare tire, a key fob or any support. I've been hounded and harassed non stop for my deferral payment and the only reason it was late to begin with is because I was sold a lemon and then kicked to the curb to come out of pocket to fix their mess. Please do not trust this lot or their salesman. They will tell you anything to secure a deal. Also take the good reviews with a grain of sand as on your way out they offer you compensation if you leave them a positive review. I wish I would've never stepped foot in this lot and tried other more reputable local places. Be warned! read more
