The technician - Gilbert - did a phenomenal job in cleaning out the dryer vents. He showed us the before and after video, and we were able to really detect the improved air flow out the external vent. He was very careful as he moved the very heavy equipment up and then down to our 2nd floor. We would highly recommend them and will be using them in the spring for our A/C vents. My HVAC stopped responding. Nothing was working. It was in the middle of a heatwave. Rats had chewed up some lines on my hvac and shorted it. He gave me options to fix it and also noted that my unit had to be around 20 years old and that it should be about time to replace it. He wasn't pushy and gave me the pros and cons to both options. He said to just let him know and he would take care of it. I ran it by ChatGPT and found the old paperwork and it was indeed 18 years old. I'm really grateful to Adam for going above and beyond. For context, I contacted Mega Clean Air about fixing an HVAC issue. One of the bedrooms in my house was not getting any airflow. Getting this scheduled was prompt and painless. After Adam showed up, he thoroughly diagnosed my HVAC system, gave me important maintenance tips, and fixed my issue within the same day. He noticed that my filter for my HVAC hadn't been changed in a while. I've had another HVAC vendor help with another issue and I proactively asked them if I needed to do a routine maintenance. They said no... Adam told me that it's important to replace the filter every 3 months. Adam also recommended installing a cold plasma air filtration system to my HVAC and he was able to do it the same day. My AQI was previously around the high 40s or even low 50s. The 25 year old AC/Furnace on our roof was beyond repair at the end of last summer. The heat still worked but the compressor would never work again. Planning for the new installation was complicated by the location of the unit and the disintegration of our rooftop ducting.
